Pointe Shoe Quiz: The series continues… What maker’s shoes are shown on top of this pile?
June 2, 2009 changes: I changed the layout to make better use of the screen size and will begin adding the date to each entry (if I remember to) since only the latest entry date is being shown. I’ve been on Blogger for 5 days and I’m already behind the mature content warning, which I think is a good thing! Will that guarantee freedom of expression? There are no guarantees about that sort of thing, but it shows promise. Perhaps it will divert the faint of heart away from reality. Though some might continue on just for the thrill of being morally repulsed by what goes on. We’ll see. Hey, Bill O’Reilly! I’m over here!!!

Pointes: They're Grishkos, because I can see the logo on the heel of one of them when I blew up the picture.
ReplyDeleteLayout change: I think that it's a good idea to utilize the full width of the page for the blog. But, are you going to be instuting a picture for the background? It's a little plain to have just a white background.
Mature content: I, too, think it's a good idea to be behind the "mature content" warning, becaust that way, those who aren't old enough to view or those who object to your posts can surf away.
Billo: I'm about ready to call my cable provider (which also is our municipal utlity) and ask that they take Fox News off the dial because of all of Bill O'Reilly's rantings. At first, I thought he was more center than he is, but he's shown to be extreme right. I mean, if you call a doctor "Tiller the Baby Killer," and some nut job takes that as an OK to that the guy's life, that's just wrong. Billo, Boss Limbaugh, the Mannity, Glen Beck, etc., are all what is wrong with the "conservative movement." If they'd tone down the hate speech and actually talk about the issues, we'd be a much better country.
I'm going to start my blog on here pretty soon, stop blogging on Yahoo! Not that I don't trust the new Profile system for blogging, but Blogspot is more established.
