Perhaps if I was a 200 lb guy and wanted something that would last the effort might be worthwhile. But GM is already addressing that need with things like extra hard polymer shanks and the recent addition of the #5 box option. A lot of the Trocks wear GM pointes customized to their needs so men can be properly fitted with long lasting pointes.

Metal in pointe shoes has had an unenviable history. A case in point is the Selva ‘Italien’ pointe shoe - in the 1960s - with a steel shank that after being flexed with wear for a few weeks would break and cut the ligaments in the dancer’s foot.
Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15373188929595748773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6218371937671599251.post-65808597374195205152016-05-14T02:59:53.882+01:002016-05-14T02:59:53.882+01:00Ever thought of having custom shanks made-aluminum...Ever thought of having custom shanks made-aluminum, titanium, or carbon fiber-for the Gaynors? I suspect a good fab shop could make one that is lighter and vastly stronger.

JohnAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6218371937671599251.post-19258158320737722252016-05-09T07:54:16.434+01:002016-05-09T07:54:16.434+01:00Hi John, welcome back!

The GM standard shanks are: Hard, Extraflex (medium-hard), Supple (medium), featherflex (flexible) and Pianissimo (very flexible). The shanks can be heat treated (with a hair blower) to give the wearer the amount of arch she needs. Additionally, there is an optional extra hard shank which at only 105 lbs. with full breasts I’ve found keeps me over my blocks when I have most of my weight on my heels. That would be very poor technique and crush normal shanks if I was dancing in paste shoes, but for ballet-sex, when being entered from behind and fucked boneless while en pointe a la seconde, I’ve found them priceless!

Additionally, the inner box platform padding helps minimize the chances of toe injuries due to thrust-drop where a small woman (like me) can be lifted off the floor when a partner’s thrusts bury his penis in my posterior fornix and lift me off the floor which happens frequently if he is tall. When he withdraws I’m dropped back on to my platforms and that can go on for quite a while until he inseminates me. GM internal platform pads along with taping my toes and using toe pads prevent thrust-drop injuries.

I do wear special order Freed Classic pointes to perform classical ballet roles. They have 3/8 inch leather shanks that won’t break, but they do soften over time, However, you’re right I like Gaynor Minden pointes to play in because the extra hard shanks turn a regular élève style shoe (where the wearer rolls through the foot on to pointe) into a relevé style shoe where the wearer springs or steps on to pointe and as I mentioned being made of polymer prevents the shanks from breaking if I put weight on my heels during an encounter or scene. And the polymer blocks won’t melt and lose their support during a wonderfully long sweaty encounter as paste blocks will.
Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15373188929595748773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6218371937671599251.post-23937213291457823982016-05-09T00:40:41.526+01:002016-05-09T00:40:41.526+01:00The Gaynors you use for ballet sex have high-stren...The Gaynors you use for ballet sex have high-strength plastic shanks, right?

JohnAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
