From the pattern of the soles and the shape of the throat and the placement of the drawstring, they look like Blochs. If the top shoe wasn't covering the heel, I would be 100% sure.
Hints: I have not used this maker before in a quiz and I think the fore-sole pattern is a bit different from any other maker’s I’ve used. So that eliminates any other maker whose shoes I’ve used.
Hints II: Pointeshoes.net (before it was hacked) said the maker once worked for Gamba before he started his own company. He no longer has his own brand (which is what these quiz shoes are) and is in semi-retirement. He now works part-time for Bloch in London.
The man how onced worked for Gamba and works part time for Gamba is Bob Martin His company Dance workshop 2000 and the shoe is from his pointe shoe line Innovations . He only make costume pointe shoes designed to each dancers foot . Like freeds his logo is stamped on the heel.
INNOVATION BY BOB MARTIN MADE IN ENGLAND That is why the look like Gambas and Blochs Jill That you for the quiz it was a mind numbing four hour search, that got me off my fathers problems How did I do?

ReplyDeleteA well reasoned answer Eric, but they aren't by Bloch

Hi Risa and Paul S... Gamba is a good guess, but they aren't Gamba pointes. I hope you will try again.
ReplyDeleteCapulet's?
ReplyDeleteSuffolk?
I'm going to have nightmares about this one!
Hi Paul S... Capulet's? Suffolk? Good choices, but sorry, the shoes are from neither of those makers...

ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteSewing looks like Russian technic (strong sewing, not touching the border).
I would say Chacott or Repetto
