Roses are red Violets are blue Jilltaxesmybrainlateatnightwithblurryimageswhenimtryingtozoominonthename/sigh :p Paul says 'Freed'? (with puzzled look on face)
P.S. I'll eat my hat and scarf if I'm wrong! (with ketchup if possible...)
Hi everyone! This was a bit tricky because the image isn't all that good. They aren't Bloch or Grishko, they are Freed Classics. The Winners are Paul S and Paul! Good for you guys!
The sole embossing isn't good on this pair but unfortunately that is becoming more common. The Freed logo has worn off the insole but you can just see the beginning of the fore-sole cross-hatch pattern above the size stamp. Then there are the makers mark, the wing and date stamps and the line of stitching under the throat of the vamp that identifies them as Freed Classics.
Thanks for the link Paul S... Actually, the quiz image is of a pair of Megan Fairchild's Pointe Shoes! Not from that site and mine a much poorer image. Go figire!
Hi Ballet Lover, I’d love to see your pointe shoe pics- along with their descriptions - and perhaps use some for quizzes. If you will give me an email address (in a comment – I won’t post it) where we can exchange messages we may be able to work something out.
