Size matters

An anxious student’s first look at her trainer’s equipment

Cosplay with latex hoods and ball gags:
The UNLV Cosplay group is starting a project to play at being kinky escorts to service boyfriends, so Taryn’s friend asked if I would provide technical assistance and training. There is no money in that for me, but it gives me an opportunity to scout the sorority women for possible candidates as escorts. It’s a way for an attractive and adventuresome student to make money if she has talent and can get with a good service. However, with the economy like it is the competition for the available opportunities is brutal.

Anyway, the sorority girls wanted to learn about some basic D/S lifestyle clothing so they could get familiar with and dressing in BDSM gear for role-play, but found that hoods and ball gags caused some members problems. The compression and sensory deprivation aspects of tight latex hoods freaked out some girls and some didn’t like wearing ball-gags because they would appear too subservient (which is exactly what wearing a ball-gag is supposed to do) and minimize the noise if they scream when a well hung instructor/Dom rammed their cervix. Those who couldn’t tolerate hoods and ball-gags were dropped from participation immediately as they would never be able to stand more restrictive equipment like catsuits and ballet-boots.

I think some of them just fantasized about being BDSM submissives – none have the perspective or drive to be Dommes - and so when they had a an opportunity to experience a bit of D/S lifestyle reality they didn’t like the smell of sweaty latex and the taste of a ball-gag and the work to get in and out of the latex suits. You have to be a fetishist, at least to some extent to enjoy wearing latex even though you may be doing it to get a specific man’s attention. So I set up a scenario for the remaining six girls who wanted to wear latex catsuit. It was that that they were being accepted for training as escorts. It starts with an actual and very thorough pelvic exam and a full STI panel to make sure they were healthy and capable of taking at least an eight inch penis before I let them play with some of the casinos well endowed male escort trainers. I know most of sorority girls recently had full STI panels, but I wanted to see the results of our tests to ensure they were still clean.

Rebreather bags & asphyxia: My Advanced Sexual Techniques class at St Lucy’s is having latex rebreather bags fitted to their gasmasks and the FFMs they will use for dive-sex training. A fitter came on campus from Labia Labs the fetishist developmental group jointly owned by Jeff, Gepetto and me. I’ve gotten permission from St Lucy’s board to use Labia Labs even though I have a financial interest in it because they are the only BDSM development shop for creative design of BDSM clothing and equipment, among other things. They will periodically ask for audits of expenses which the Labs comptroller is happy to provide and they even send a young female CPA over to try out some of the designs herself. I’m afraid I’ve co-opted her making a closet rubberist out of her, but that’s human nature, to seek pleasure and she seems to have found it in a latex catsuit, Ben Wa balls, hood and gasmask. I wish everyone was that easy to mind-fuck, but I’m sure she was using toys, dildos and vibis, before I took her to the next level. Now she wants to try everything we teach in AST, “to make certain the school is getting its moneys worth” she says, so who am I to complain. She audits my training classes so she can safely use the equipment and the students rather like having a young beautiful member of the schools admin taking class with them as it makes them feel more adult.

We are training the girls with RBs connected to their gasmasks first. Then when they become confident in that application we will teach them the delights of rebreather bag use during dive sex, which is more complicated. Rebreather bags can be very dangerous since they are used frequently during solo sex and it is easy to get into trouble by trying for a personal best in continuous valve closure during asphyxia play. What we advise is during solo play that the student not shut the valve sealing her rebreather, but put her finger over the vent so that if she faints her hand will drop away and the open valve will allow her to breathe fresh air. Passing out during rebreather solo play with the valve closed has led to a lot of deaths and some that should have died as they ended up in a persistent vegetative state from lack of oxygen to the brain and will be on a ventilator for ever, unless next of kin decided to turn off the ventilator.

Under water rebreather bags: Our way of using an underwater rebreather bag is different from surface rebreathing in that the bag is connected to the exhalation port on a modified FFM that has had the exhalation valve removed and replaced by one at the end of the UW rebreather bag and a manual valve beyond that which can block exhaling into the water. There is also a valve on the air hose to the second stage reg on the FFM (or for added difficulty the tank valve can be used) so that the wearer can shut off her own air.

For normal breathing the valve at the end of the rebreather bag is open so that exhaled air can be released. To activate the rebreather the valve on the end of the rebreather is closed which allows the diver’s exhalation to fill the bag. Then the wearer’s air is shut off by means of the in-line valve or the main tank valve. We prefer a trainee use the in-line valve because shutting off the tank valve prevents buoyancy control by means of inflating her BCD or drysuit a complication a rebreather student doesn’t need at first. Once there is no air through the DV the wearer sucks air from the rebreather bag and the level of carbon dioxide quickly increases to the point where clear thinking is impossible and unconsciousness is imminent. She or her dive buddy has to be ready to restore to her second stage reg before she becomes unconscious. That it’s why we recommend never having solo dive-sex with a FFM fitted with a rebreather bag. There is almost no room to recover from a breathplay mistake while wearing a rebreather bag fitted FFM.

Colored oval crotch gussets: Now that autumn is here (the autumnal equinox was on 9/23) I’m glad to be getting back into fall leggings and convertible tights. I love my custom legwear with its brightly colored oval cotton lined crotch gussets. I love flashing bystanders when I wear them under micro-minis or getting head turning looks when I wear them in the casino hallways on the way to class and rehearsals. When I go into a restaurant I just wrap a pareo around my hips and slip past the dress code, but I wear it in a way that creates a hip-slit that clearly shows my leg from the waist to toes and a flash of colored gusset when I walk. Blood red, emerald green or canary yellow are my faves for drawing attention. I coordinate the colors with red being when I’m menstrual, green when I’m fertile and yellow when I’m luteal. I often wear red satin pointes during rehearsals as well when I’m menstrual since if I’m in costume one of my stallions interested in menstrual sex may have difficulty seeing the color of my crotch gusset. I’m CD9 and fertile today so my crotch gusset is a brilliant emerald green.

Drospirenone and blood clots: The FDA has issued a safety review update on the possible increased risk of blood clots with birth control pills containing drospirenone. The link is: http://www.fda.gov/Drugs/DrugSafety/ucm273021.htm Of the St Lucy’s students who are on the pill the majority are on a pill containing drospirenone, Yaz or one of its generics. While we haven’t had an instance of any female at St Lucy’s having blood clots while taking birth control pills containing drospirenone we are recommending that all students whose pelvic anatomy will permit, have a GyneFix frameless IUD inserted do so because the GyneFix has virtually no side effects and a very low rate of expulsion if it is implanted correctly.

Sybian, rebreather bags and readers questions

The iPod Nano

The Sybian Vs a man: I’ve been asked how sex with a man compares with sex with a Sybian. Encounters with both can be marvelous or the pits depending on any number of factors; the mood and skill of the man, where the encounter occurs, where the woman is in her cycle and her mood. There are differences between a machine and a male of course. The machine has no stamina problems so can eventually wear a woman out no matter how needy she may be and can damage her terribly if she slips or becomes dry and has a bad ride. There is no wonderful male scent or sweat to luxuriate in with a Sybian or arms to crush me to him and feel his heart pounding and his respiration increase as he reaches orgasm and pumps semen into me. And there’s no cuddling afterward while we both nap enjoying the afterglow.

On the other hand a Sybian is the best possible partner when you are horny and crave release, but want solitude w/o having to put on makeup or care for another person’s sensibility. Then I can have an amazing screaming orgasm w/o having to wear a ball-gag, just clip my iPod to my bra put in the ear buds and listen to classics: Sinatra or Tony Bennett with their lushly orchestrated arrangements or the score from La Bayadère, Don Quixote, Swan Lake or Sleeping Beauty while the machine fucks my brains out.

Rubber rebreather bags and diving: As I mentioned in an early entry we are continuing to see an increase in rebreather bag accidents in the fetish community and some of them involve trying to use a one-atmosphere rebreather bag while diving. If the rebreather is connected to a port on a FFM similar to an Ocean Reef and the diver has an air cutoff that s/he can reach then s/he should be good to go for some breathplay fun with pressurized air from a demand valve.

On the other hand, and this is where most of the accidents have been occuring, if the diver is trying to use a one-atmosphere (surface) soft rubber gasmask with a rebreather bag underwater there can be serious consequences. That’s because the pressure of the water can make water leak around the face seal and, if the rebreather bag is inflated at one ATA before submerging the water pressure will cause the rebreather to deflate and the air to escape around the masks face seal so as to develop a vacuum in the mask - if the mask doesn’t flood. The best way to try to use a surface mask underwater is for the wearer to lie on his (or her) back so the air in the mask forms a bubble to minimize flooding - at very shallow depths. Even that can be dangerous if the wearer doesn’t have an effective plan to recover from a flooded mask of that sort, which means getting to the surface immediately.

A reader asks: Can a vibrator dislodge a Mirena? The answer is, possibly. I think it is very unlikely if the Mirena was inserted correctly but if the vibrator causes such an intense orgasm that there is uterine cramping then it is possible that the ‘arms’ of the IUD frame could bend rather than slide along the surface of the endometrium and if the arms bend the likelihood of expulsion is much greater. As I have mentioned in earlier posts dive-sex with a Mirena or ParaGard IUD inserted is not a good idea. That’s because a framed IUD can be pulled out while removing a gas guard because the strings can adhere to the rim or dome of the GG and get tugged on.

Feet Numb in pointe shoes: A reader writes, “My pointe shoes make my feet feel numb”

That can be a problem if the shoes have been broken in and your toes still feel numb when you are standing flat. If that’s what’s occurring, then you should consider getting a slightly larger shoe or using less padding. If numb toes occur when en pointe for long intervals that is quite normal and – up to a point, which will vary from wearer to wearer - works as a protective mechanism to allow pointe and ballet boot fetishists to remain en pointe for extended intervals. I think you should talk to your pointe teacher and see what she recommends.

Gas masks, rebreather bags, NuvaRing, pure oxygen

The NuvaRing contraceptive ring

A reader asked: "Can foreplay with water jets decrease NuvaRing effectiveness?" If the water temperature is cool and the jets are applied briefly it shouldn’t decrease the effectiveness of NuvaRing. But, hot water – above body temperature - will cause the hormones to be released from the ring at a faster rate than normal and the ring may not protect the wearer for the entire wearing interval.

However, there could be a more serious problem with water jets if they are any more powerful than is produced from a douche bag. That’s because water could be forced into the woman’s uterus and cause an infection that could scar her tubes leading to sterility. A woman using NuvaRing can remove it for an interval up to three hours with no decrease in her protection. If you want to play with water jets up the vagina my advice would be to be fitted for a diaphragm or FemCap to use as a gas guard. That way the ring can be removed and the gas guard inserted to protect the cervix by preventing anything being forced into the uterus by the water pressure during foreplay. If the ring is removed it’s important that the woman remember to reinsert her ring within the three hour interval to retain her hormonal protection.

The popularity of gas masks and rebreather bags: I’ve been repeatedly asked why a gas mask and rebreather bag combination is such a popular fetish with a partner or for solo use. It seems to me the reason is that while one can start breath play by using a laundry’s plastic clothes bag as a rebreather at no cost, except for the cost to the breath-play fetishist’s survivors for the funeral if s/he isn’t careful, then once the fetishist masters the plastic bag successful s/he will want to advance to breathplay equipment that appears more menacing (if a man) or protective (if a woman). An inexpensive step up is a gas mask easily and cheaply obtained from a local surplus store or on-line and used with a rebreather made from a child’s balloon, rubber glove or condom, or by spending a bit more an anesthesia rebreather bag purchased from a medical supply store.

As I’ve commented in earlier entries breathplay can be very dangerous either with a partner or alone. Breathplay while soloing in a bondage situation can be especially hazardous if the player hasn’t thought the whole scenario out in advance and left him or herself a way to open the valve on a sealed mask or rebreather, or s/he waits too long savoring the asphyxia high before trying to loosen the bonds enough to open the valve.

We have recently seen indications of masks ‘spider’ (head harness) tampering with the strap adjustment clips bent so that they can’t be loosened and the quick disconnect latches disabled so the wearer can’t get it off quickly. Not testing to see if escaping from a mask is possible before escape is needed can be a fatal mistake. Breaking the seal and getting out of a new polycarbonate gas mask that has been tampered with can be a slow process even before running out of air and when the wearer is breathless it’s to die for.

For fetishists who are divers and have their own SCUBA equipment using a full face mask (FFM) and a nearly empty air tank works extremely well for breathplay and is every bit as fatal if misused. A nearly empty tank is especially erotic giving the breathplay fetishist the audible hiss of the demand valve working as well as the increasing effort to suck gas as the tank empties and the pressure drops while s/he masturbates or a partner takes the player to orgasm. At orgasm the physical exertion and need for air becomes extreme and if things aren’t just right the breathplayer can easily panic and smother.

Degassing with pure oxygen: To speed up purging nitrogen from my body so I can spend more time underwater sucking gas from a SCUBA set I’ve started nitrogen degassing by breathing pure oxygen. There are several problems with breathing pure oxygen, oxygen toxicity and the very real risk of a flash fire because of the flammable nature of oxygen. I wear a small oxygen tank that feeds an Ocean Reef Neptune Space Raptor FFM (the black one) that has the standard upgrade for Nitrox and Trimix gasses. Breathing corrosive gasses the seals and metal parts have to be checked frequently so I use this Raptor strictly for flushing out nitrogen while I ride a stationary bike or exercise at the barre to keep my heart rate up. I don’t use any electronics in the mask to prevent the possibility of a spark igniting the oxygen. So far I’ve been able to cut my degassing interval by about a third.

In my 68 ft deep pool, ‘the Pit’ and at Adolph’s 200 ft deep discipline training facility, ‘the well’, at decompression stops above 50 feet during ascent I’ve started switching from Trimix to oxygen (from pre-positioned decompression tanks) to begin the process of purging nitrogen and have deactivated the thermocline (with its 65° water at the bottom of the pit) and increased the temperature throughout the entire depth to 95° so that the chilling effect of breathing Trimix is almost entirely offset even when wearing only a bikini. And a great thing about breathing Trimix is that the heat transfer properties of Trimix prevent overheating during energetic sex in 95° water. Adolph has turned his training facility heaters up too so that divers are comfy while in bikinis or slingshots. He didn’t want to do it at first but found that when chilled even he couldn’t keep an erection long enough to penetrate his partner no matter how horny he is so he finally gave in.

Rebreathers and breathplay

An Ocean Reef FFM is awesome for breathplay

Rebreather bag dangers: A reader asked: Are rebreather bags for bondage dangerous? Used incorrectly almost anything can be dangerous so the short answer is yes. A rebreather bag certainly can be dangerous if not used correctly. Rebreather bag accidents that cause injury or death are, unfortunately, common among new members of the fetish community who haven’t had rebreather training or enough experience with using rebreather bags during breath play to recognize the dangers Used in bondage situations the safety of a RB depends entirely on the experience and goals of the Dom or Top in charge. The least bit of inattention on the part of the Dom (or Domme) and it is easy to end up with a brain damaged Bottom who then needs care for the rest of his or her life or another maintenance option.

FFMs as breathplay rebreathers: A trend that’s catching on with up-market bondage divers out here is using a full face mask as a rebreather. If the Bottom is breathing Nitrox II (36% oxygen) or something blended higher to first oxygenate his or her blood. That way the person denied air can last far longer and those of us who have tried it think the orgasms after Nitrox oxygenation are more intense. Oxygenation was first started here by the Gay diving community, but has spread to the general bondage community and is now particularly favored by straight women since Doms want to give their women an exceptionally erotic near death experience and we believe sex with an expert lover during an asphyxia encounter using a FFM is about as close to that as a girl can get. I love the way the mask seals even tighter after every exhalation when my air is shut off. And, if I’m having rubbery sex - being dive-fucked where I can feel my partner thrusting into my latex gas guard - while my lunge are burning from lack of air and I’m gasping in orgasm 30 feet or more below the surface of the pool I think that’s about as good as breathplay gets

Hoods: There are a number of different types and materials used for hoods. Neoprene of various thicknesses, latex and silicone to name three common materials, and diving, fetish and BDSM hoods to name three common types. Fetish and BDSM hoods can be solid over the ears, but with hoods used while diving there needs to be circulation of ambient water around the wearer’s ears to allow pressure equalization. BDSM hoods often are made of leather with zippers to close the eye, nose and mouth openings and some are arranged to fit gags of various sorts, ring, ball, penis etc, in the wearer’s mouth while wearing the hood. Latex is a favorite material for fetish hoods because of it’s thin (or thick) and shiny surface. Neoprene is often used for diving because of its insulation and buoyancy properties. I like wearing a hood while diving as it keeps my long hair from tangling in the valves, hoses and straps of my equipment. And, a hood offers some protection if a diver is hit in the head by her partner’s tank; something that can happen if s/he is suddenly goosed and reacts forcefully. I also wear a hood along with gloves and booties with a light rubber encasement suit while on clean-up operations to prevent leaving my DNA at the scene.

Adolph’s hyperbaric chamber: My German collector / Rubber Dom friend just took possession of a large hyperbaric chamber facility attached to the building where his 200 ft deep training well is located. He says it is to be used if someone gets decompression sickness while diving the well and I’m sure it will be used for that, but I really think he got it for experimenting with crushing women in drysuits that have integral hard helmets. The kind that locks into a padded neck ring attached to the suit. He and I have discussed his interest in seeing how much pressure it would take to crush a diver’s body to the consistency of strawberry jam and squeeze her pulped tissues into her helmet. There are enough stray beautiful women in town that he would probably be able to get as many girls as he needs for experiments. What I’ve wondered about is whether her breaking bones (ribs immediately come to mind) would pierce the woman’s suit and ruin the experiment. If he decides to go through with the ‘Strawberry Jam’ project, as I’ve come to think of it, he may have to order drysuits of thicker material to prevent accidental punctures as the girl is crushed. He’d have to work w/o his Well Attendants, but he does that from time to time anyway when he needs secrecy and there is no trainee in the well to be carefully monitored.

Beavertail jackets and dive knives

An 18 K gold Labia leash - shown with clips

The Labia Leash:
There are two styles, like earrings, clips and piercings. If a leash is worn as a decoration clips are far more painful that piercings, but if the leash is use as a punitive control device it can be exceedingly painful and both if abused can cause disfigurement. A properly placed labia leash can also work well as a chastity device. There is so much potential for abuse while wearing a labia leash that we strongly advise against the students at St Lucy’s being fitted or pierced for one. The Administration would forbid their use but we get much better compliance when we suggest, advise or recommend than when we forbid. And for the most part the girls have taken our advice with only one or two girls coming in for leash fitting-piercing procedures. Personally I think it is degrading to see a woman being lead around by a leash in her genitals. But some young women see being leashed as a matter of trust. I think that is so foolish but men seem to love it!

Beavertail jackets and dive knives: We have added a new equipment requirement for training while diving solo. Everyone is to wear a dive knife. This is particularly important for women because we usually don’t have the upper body strength of a man but even men are at some risk. The problem is that the open beavertail of a sports jacket can get sucked onto the pool drains even though they are child safe and once a good vacuum is established holding the 3 mm neoprene open beavertail against the drain cover the only practical way for a woman to get free is to cut off the beavertail. Trying to get out of the sleeves of a properly fitting wetsuit jacket is almost impossible even with the SCUBA set off. I like to think of myself as a very experiences diver and I had this happen to me the other night when I was soloing to give myself a vaginal breathing encounter. [For more about Vaginal Breathing see my entry for October 4, 2009] I wasn’t wearing a dive knife and doubted myself for a moment or two and wondered if ‘this is it’, not the Michael Jackson release, but the end for me.

Of course my SCUBA set had my custom Vaginal Demand Valve (VDV) on the octopus and I was familiar with a safety feature of the pool pump that prevents a runaway pump if there is no water flowing through it. I also had a half tank of air remaining after several wonderfully intense orgasms and I always dive a large tank for dive-sex as my breath control during orgasm is nonexistent. Well, it is for me when it is an extremely intense orgasm. So I thought if I could get enough air into the drain so it was sucked through the pump it might drop the water flow enough that the pump would speed up and the runaway feature would shut it down. Ordinarily there is a feedback loop that will take care of fluctuations but it only functions within a fairly narrow flow range so it was important that I get as much air sucked into the drain as I could. I ended up taking the mouthpiece of my VDV and shoving it as far under the edge of the beavertail as I could and then held the purge button down and prayed that it would put enough air in the drain that the pump would shut down. Because of the vacuum in that drain most of the air was sucked into the pipe, but I didn’t hold the purge down long enough. The second time I held it down for two minutes and I was getting a little concerned that I might run out of air when the pump stopped and the vacuum decreased enough that I could pull my beavertail free of the drain cover. That close call really had my heart rate up! I can easily see a woman w/o a knife or spare DV to free herself with being trapped and suffocate or drown.

Contaminated filter canisters and rebreather bags: I was asked to clean up after a gas mask suicide party. The hostess was the suicide and decided to take some of the women in her rebreather bag club with her. I took Taryn along and we went to a lovely exclusive section of town where some of the well established rich of the area live. There are almost no foreclosed homes in this area and the few that are aren’t advertised by signs out front. The woman’s husband is in the fine jewelry manufacturing business where sodium cyanide powder is commonly used so it was no problem for her to get a 1 gram bottle. The husband came home to find female bodies in gasmasks and rebreather bags lying all over his safe-room that had been locked down. The only reason he found the bodies was that the alarm for the safe-room showed it was in lockdown and he went to find out why.

The husband runs a profitable jewelry business that acts as an efficient international money processing center for his associates so they needed the mess taken care of quietly. I guess what we found was what the gas chamber in California was like. Except the bodies were all of pretty young women in encasement suits. The husband who was numb with grief said his wife usually held her gas mask parties in their family room where they would all get high on a couple of lines of high grade coke and try out new dildos. His wife apparently had a very extensive collection of them. The security videos showed them all snorting coke before following their hostess into the safe room and sealing the vault door.

Precautions: Being told the husband suspected cyanide poisoning Taryn and I wore positive pressure full face masks and back mounted oxygen bottles for cleanup along with disposable contact suits, booties and gloves, since we didn’t want to take the slightest chance of inhaling or contaminating our clothes with the super fine sodium cyanide powder that could have been vented through the exhaust valves of the victims masks. The husband showed us videos of his wife adding cyanide powder to the filter canisters and rebreather bags she furnished all her guests to use with their own masks which they brought with them. The women were all in expensive latex encasement suits and ballet boots. Their boot bags had been left in the family room where they changed into their ballet heels after arriving.

The victims: One of the women was a lawyer and about 4 months preggers, she was just beginning to get a baby bump. Another was a fairly well known exercise-video personality. Another was a young mid-level casino executive who had a reputation as being sexually aggressive and was thought to be a rising star in the gaming industry. I had once taken a man away from her – by seduction - at Naughty’s and she never forgot it so with her gone I’m down one enemy. The last was a teen cousin of the husband who was visiting from Kansas. The Families are working on explanations for the women disappearing, rather than have a scandal involving one of their profitable companies and trying to explain why they have to have closed casket funerals. The preggers one has a boyfriend in California who impregnated her, but according to the gossip on the video he isn’t aware he’d knocked her up. None was married with a family who is dependent on her so having them relocate for a better job or a new video project should work. The husband’s cousin is being left up to him to handle. He said he had been fucking her steadily since she arrived 5 weeks ago so her death has left him pretty depressed which is the reason I think he was numb with grief. Actually, He had affairs with all the victims so his most recent affair (with the teen) may have been the trigger for his wife’s suicide and she took all his fuck-buddies with her. Given the toxicity of the contamination neither Taryn nor I harvested anything from the bodies though there were some bits that under different circumstances I would have liked for my collection.

Heavy rubber and rebreather bags

A fetishist in heavy rubber & restraining harness sucking on his rebreather bag

Rebreather bags: Rebreathing or suffocation involves breathing into an airtight reservoir so that the amount of oxygen in the air gradually decreases. Purpose made fetish devices include breathing tubes linked to valved rebreather bladders as used in anesthesia. As far as I know rebreather bags have been until recently an almost exclusively male thing. In the image above the harness is to catch the fetishist if he collapses from lack of oxygen. Shelly’s husband can get off through partial suffocation and takes his heavy rubber enclosure suit and rebreather bag with him on business trips. Here in Vegas rebreather bags used with gasmasks have recently caught on with untrained teen girls with the sad but expected attendant spike in fatalities and brain dead girls. It’s gotten so bad that I was asked to teach (and recently added) rebreather bag safety to my Contemporary Sexual Health class at St Lucy’s because they are so easy to obtain and have become so popular to use.

A dangerous application: One really scary application of latex rebreather bags is their use attached to properly fitted and sealed gasmasks worn underwater. Latex bags bought in secondhand stores may not be up to the pressure stress on old age-hardened latex and the latex will tear flooding the bag and mask which when the wearer is semiconscious from lack of oxygen, can cause them to drown. Or the bag will hold and the girl will pass out from breathing her own carbon dioxide and suffocate during sex.

Rebreather bag safety: St Lucy’s needed to answer the question of whether it was best to ignore the increasing interest of young women in using rebreather bags because their use can be dangerous, or to teach them how to use a fetish rebreather safely. I am proud that St Lucy’s administration came down on the side of educating the students to know the dangers if they do decide to use rebreather bags in sex-play. I teach my St Lucy’s students to use only new anesthesia rebreather bags purchased from reputable merchants and use gasmasks with new stretchy latex or silicone seals. I teach how to use the valve end to allow air into the bag before the wearer passes out and I strongly caution against using a gasmask under water because it isn’t designed to protect the wearer from drowning. The pressure can distort the mask which will break the seal allowing the mask to flood. At best it is a very unsafe arrangement even for shallow depth submerged sex-play. If a rebreather is used underwater a bag harness should be used – a snug strap worn just under the ribs and fastened to the control valve end - to keep the bag from acting like a flotation bladder and pulling the mask off the divers face. That way the wearer can use both hands to engage her partner. My casino’s bondage boutique, Fasteners, sells anesthesia rebreather bags with open/closed tail cocks that come with the hard to find 40mm NATO gasmask adaptor as a set.

Black latex cervical barriers: For rubber-chicks our clinic’s ‘Domme’ line of shiny black latex cervical barriers (made by Gepetto’s custom latex shop) to complement a girls rubber fetishwear, has been hugely popular since its introduction three weeks ago. Latex it is not as long lasting as silicone but for a rubber-chick that is not a problem because when her rubberstud finds he will be thrusting into the shiny black latex membrane protecting her cervix it’s as though he took double Viagra. A lot of serious rubber-chicks are buying several diaphragms so they can give their boyfriends one to play with when they are out of town. Another nice thing about black latex is that it hides the discoloration that normally occurs after several months use from latex barriers being immersed in a woman’s reproductive tract fluids.
