Semina is effective and popular with teens: In my introductory sex-ed course, Contemporary Sexual Health, I use Semina diaphragms because they are effective as well as pretty (which makes very young women feel adult, attractive and confident) so a Semina is more likely to be used during surface-sex. The Semina with spermicide in the dome is a good non-hormonal option when young women reach menarche and begin to need protection for sexual intercourse as it will allow sex with unprotected men giving young women experience in coping with coital discharge.

Semina is manufactured and available primarily in Brazil. It is very difficult to get in the U.S. and it is only selectively available from private clinics in the UK. However, it can be worth the trouble for a student who needs encouragement, something that she thinks is pretty as well as adult and effective which can give her a boost in self confidence.

The diaphragm as an anterior fornix thrust-buffer: I’ve written about this before, but it bears repeating because for some of us it can be important. For a woman with a well endowed partner who can thrust painfully into her anterior fornix a traditional diaphragm can provide some thrust-buffering. I usually wear a latex Reflexions flat spring rim which is no longer commercially available or a custom fitted latex FS device made for me by my London Gyn clinic. In addition to thrust-buffering with my latex FS diaphragm I get a twofer! And because a latex FS rim device has better heat transfer properties and the flat spring rim is almost impossible to even intentionally under-thrust by a mischievous partner it is the preferred cervical barrier used by  latex fetish escorts and as a flood insurance device it can be used for dive-sex at any depth. The down side of a latex device is that it won’t last as long as a silicone one and can’t be used by couples with a latex allergy.

The pointe-shoe as a defensive weapon: Occasionally a dancer in pointe-shoes can find herself at a disadvantage with a male partner who won’t take no for an answer. Verity gets a GyneFix, FemCap and Reflexions: Now that His Grace has made his choice and Verity accepted it she came back to the clinic to have a full size, six copper beads, frameless IUD - with the strings removed so she can safely wear a cervical barrier - implanted. And because she will be having dive-sex I fit her with a 22mm FemCap for shallow dives (down to 25 feet) and a 75mm latex Reflexions flat spring diaphragm for use at unlimited depths. With a GyneFix implanted she won’t need the barriers for contraception, but will need them for ‘flood insurance’, to prevent the hydraulics of a lover’s thrusts from forcing water into her uterus during dive-sex.

One was on the Mirena IUD that releases Levonorgestrel and two were using NuvaRing which releases a combination of ethinyl estradiol and etonogestrel and is worn in the vagina continuously for three weeks before removing for a withdrawal bleed.  So it was unlikely that any of them had been using their method incorrectly that would interfere with releasing the hormones.

I immediately suspected an employee of the club intentionally planting a contaminated hygienic product of some sort one that would be used each time a woman came to the club.  So what items supplied by the club would be commonly used by women members and could any of them be easily tampered with? Suspicion quickly centered to the supplies in the women’s loo; aloe wipes, hand cream, boxes of nitrile exam gloves similar to the ones available in the bar and each of the encounter sallies that are snapped on before fondling a partner’s genitalia and tubes of a water soluble gel-lube to lubricate the gloved fingers or penis before inserting them in the woman’s vagina. The lube is heavily and frequently used as some women on hormones find its difficult to get wet with their natural lube even with considerable foreplay.

We clandestinely gathered and tested samples of each item that might be used to distribute a progesterone agonist/antagonist, something similar to ulipristal acetate that is used in the EC ellaOne, which binds to the progesterone receptor. Using a progestin for contraception and another med that binds to the progesterone receptors together could reduce their hormonal methods contraceptive efficacy. Returning readers may recall that the instructions for using ellaOne say:

 “After using ellaOne, if a woman wishes to use hormonal contraception, she should do so no sooner than 5 days after the intake of ellaOne, and she should use a reliable barrier method until the next menstrual period.”  

Lube gel tampered with: What we found was the tubes of water-based lubricating gel had all been replaced with counterfeit ones that included  a chemical that binds to the woman’s progesterone receptors for at least twice as long as ulipristal acetate, at least ten days. The pregnant club members were all frequently in the club to pick up Mr. Right Now so their hormonal contraception was quickly sabotaged.  The switch couldn’t have been going on very long or other hormonal users would have noticed fertility symptoms and full period bleeds rather than just a light withdrawal bleed or perhaps no bleed at all if they were enjoying the absence of their periods. An intense interrogation of the employee who was responsible for distributing the tubes of lube got an admission of guilt, she was paid by a rival club, and more of the sabotaged gel was found in her locker.

Fortunately the pregnancies were detected within the first few weeks and all were terminated through vacuum aspiration at our clinic and were paid for by the clubs insurance. There will also be a quick cash settlement if the individual women agree not to sue the club and no one wants the publicity that would bring.

Breakthrough therapy with Marvin: In my last post I mentioned Marvin and my discussions about my feelings of lack purpose without a male ballet partner at the castle for training and sex.  As a therapist he understood completely. Edith’s accident: I hadn’t asked exactly how my great, great, great grandmother died. At 103 I thought ‘natural causes’ which for someone that age could have been a variety of ailments. Contraception prep for college

Oh my God! I think I’m expelling my Skyla!

The photo: Ladies, you know the feeling when something in there moves that shouldn’t; a diaphragm, FemCap, menstrual cup or an IUD. The Skyla is a smaller version of the Mirena hormone releasing IUD and was designed for nulliparous women. Skyla releases the progestin levonorgestrel at a rate of 14 mcg/day after 24 days and declines to 5 mcg/day after 3 years at which time it must be replaced.  Menstrual cups can usually be used safely with IUDs as the cup should be worn low in the vagina where it should not come in contact with the IUD strings. Of course in the case of my wards their GyneFix copper bead IUDs were implanted w/o strings so they can wear diaphragms or FemCap with no fear of interacting with the strings and causing an expulsion.

Student’s contraception prep for college: While most teens starting college are on hormonal contraceptives a few use the copper ParaGard IUD and a few still use cervical barriers, a silicone Milex diaphragm or a FemCap. For readers who may not be aware of it the silicone Ortho All-Flex diaphragm that had been available for years by Rx through most pharmacies in the U.S. was discontinued in December of 2013. That leaves only the silicone CooperSurgical Milex- in two rim styles arcing and coil spring – and FemCap as options for women in the U.S who want or need a cervical barrier or the latex Reflexions flat spring which can be ordered from the UK..

This past week we have seen the usual summer increase in teen cervical barrier fittings as they prepare to go away to college for the first time or are having their annual well-woman pelvic exam and diaphragm fit check before returning to sexual activity with college men and some professors.  I fit three 17 y/o patients with 60mm wide seal Milex Omniflex (coil spring) diaphragms. They were the first diaphragms for all three because of health problems after having used only condoms.

One girl has Factor V Leiden a mutation of one of the clotting factors in the blood called factor V. This mutation can increase the chance of developing abnormal blood clots made worse by taking anything with estrogen in it. Factor V Leiden while it can appear in men is primarily found in women. The second, diaphragm patient was a petite gymnast with a full athletic scholarship to a major Midwestern university. She has terrible side effects from the progestin Levonorgestrel in the Skyla IUD that was designed for use by small women and she is too small to have ParaGard inserted. And the third girl does not want to use hormonal birth control of any sort and has a nickel/copper allergy so can’t use a ParaGard IUD.

Their moms came with them and were comfortable that while their daughters ages were below the age of consent for some relationships they were open about sex with boyfriend and the mothers only concern was that their daughters would be well protected by a method under their control. The girls assured me they would wear their diaphragms whenever they were around men as sex can often be spontaneous and the need for effective protection is very important to all of them. The girls had no problem inserting and removing the Milex Omniflex as they all use Diva menstrual cups so were familiar with their pelvic anatomy and folding a device for insertion. They see wearing their diaphragms as a rite of passage and an act of independence accepting the responsibility for managing their own fertility and being able to enjoy the delights of sex with a man while reducing the likelihood of unintended consequences to an acceptable level.

I fit another 17 y/o with a 22mm FemCap as her post-pubic vault was far too shallow to enable her to effectively use even a Reflexions flat spring diaphragm. She and her mom did not want her using anything with hormones in it and they both think IUDs are too invasive so a cervical cap was the only option left for a method over which she will have control. The good news is that for her age she is tall and has a relatively long vagina when not aroused – so a partner is unlikely to hit the removal strap during deep thrusting - and she also has long fingers which allow her to reach her cervix when squatting and pushing down, an ability needed to place a FemCap effectively and equally important to be able to reach it to break the seal for removal.

Elbow hinge arcing spring Vs. latex flat spring: Another patient, a returning UNLV grad student, came in to discuss changing the style of diaphragm she is using. She was last fitted with 70mm latex Reflexions with which she was very pleased. However, she has developed a latex allergy and she wanted something that would provide the same protection and pleasure for her and her very well endowed partner during deep thrusting encounters. What I recommended was a Milex wide seal arching spring which has two elbow hinges that fold for insertion. Once inserted and open when thrust into by a penis the rim flexes only slightly remaining circular and stiff (as long as the device does not rotate significantly in either direction), but not as inflexible as the Reflexions allowing the silicone dome to be stretched across the cervix and glans as it is pushed into her anterior fornix by a thrusting penis.  

There are tradeoffs using a silicone arcing spring instead of a latex flat spring. However, for anterior fornix thrusting I think the two can be equally pleasurable. With the silicone arcing spring the dome is stiffer than the flat spring so the rim flexing is offset by the less stretchy dome which puts the same or perhaps a bit more pressure on the tip of the cervix to push the uterus up and to squeeze the glans simultaneously during maximum anterior fornix thrust depth.  Too, the central dome logo on the Reflexions used as a stimulator for men long enough to reach it is replaced by the extrusion bump in the center of the Milex dome that is easily felt by a thrusting penis when the silicone dome is stretched into the anterior fornix.  The only detracting factors in comparing the Milex to Reflexions is that that Milex costs more and the heat transfer properties are much better with latex. Factors against the latex Reflexions are that couples with latex allergies can’t use it. Latex is more easily destroyed by oily lubes or meds so its useful life is much shorter and latex is more likely to contribute to infections than is silicone. The only major difference in favor of the flat spring rim is that it can be worn effectively by some women with shallow post-pubic vaults. 

The only unknowns with the Milex Arcing spring diaphragm used for deep thrust anterior fornix play is how much the diaphragm will rotate which can affect the pressure deep thrusting will develop and how well the elbow hinges will withstand the reverse pressure when the dome is stretched into the wearer’s anterior fornix by a well endowed partner. The good news is that if the elbow hinges begin to fail a replacement is easily obtained.

Breeding dancers: I was going to title this section Breeding Ballerinas for the alliteration, but while I have helped some of my ballet dancer friends conceive most of the women who come to me for help getting pregnant are statuesque full figured show girls 5’10” or taller so are well over 6” in heels or en pointe; lovely but not with ballet bodies, technique or speed necessary for classical ballet.

My method has been fairly successful and is low cost, fun to use and counter intuitive as a conception aid. I have the friends I’m counseling use a silicone Milex wide seal Omniflex (coil spring rim) breeding diaphragm – one that is two sizes smaller that the size the woman should use for contraception – and have the couple lubricate the dome and vagina with pre-seed, a pH balanced sperm friendly gel, rather than acidic spermicide. This allows a partner to easily under-thrust the rim of the diaphragm especially when the woman is being penetrated from behind while bent over holding on to a barre, chair or table or on her hands and knees.

In that position with the trunk of her body parallel to the floor the uterus is pulled down and back by gravity increasing the depth of the vagina. As the vagina lengthens the rim of the diaphragm in the posterior fornix will be pulled deeper with the cervix which in turn pulls the anterior rim further away from the pubic bone where it can be more easily under-thrust by the smooth upper side of her lover’s glans. Once under the dome the frenulum of an uncut man can freely caress his lover’s G-spot bringing her to orgasm with its strong vaginal contractions that squeeze the thick cream rich with millions of sperm from his vas glands where it spews against her ripe unprotected cervix. Once her breeding partner withdraws the diaphragm reseals against the vaginal walls trapping the ejaculate in the prepared dome along with her fertile cervical mucus.

A few minutes later, the inseminated woman basking in the afterglow lies quietly on her back as her vagina returns to its unaroused state submerging the tip of her ripe cervix in the pool of fertile cervical mucus, pre-seed and semen contained in the dome. So far with the small group of friends who have tried to conceive this way almost 50% have been successful within three cycles, but the group is far too small to be able to make any sort of meaningful claim.

Menstrual Synchrony: I’m CD3 and flowing heavily with a latex Reflexions inserted for flow control. My wards, Bea, Willow and the Swan Twins, Odette and Odile have been sweating enough with me during ballet classes we take together that their cycles have become synchronized with mine. Willow, was the last to sync in the past month as she was the latest addition to my brood of budding ballerinas. Returning readers will recall that they all have copper bead GyneFix IUDs implanted for contraception so they can enjoy sex and the hormonal swings of their natural cycles w/o having to worry about becoming pregnant.

Having our cycles in sync has its advantages and disadvantages. Disadvantages are that we all can get a bit short and crabby when menstrual and we have to watch that there is enough iron in our diets as women with copper IUDs can bleed more heavily than those who don’t. The advantages are that when we are all fertile together the energy, creativeness and our libidos peak and my girls are up for almost anything. For me a big advantage is that I can teach them together about menstrual sex (both ballet and dive-sex) while we are menstrual and not as each one became menstrual if her cycle wasn’t synched with mine.

Rim movement and leakage: Flexing of the rim of All-Flex and coil spring rims (Omniflex and Semina) and movement of the Reflexions flat spring due to a partner’s thrusts into the dome and our contractions during orgasm will cause a slight leakage of flow as the rim moves over the vaginal rugae, even for a diaphragm that has very strong suction in the dome. So a partner after withdrawal will be coated by a thin sheen of blood. I always like to suck that off his still erect penis and taste my flow and smell its scent which most menstrual sex lovers enjoy as well, I mean the scent and being immediately sucked off after ballet-sex.

FemCap during menstruation: Wearing FemCap while menstrual during surface-sex is not practical since the dome is so small that it will quickly fill with flow and dislodge. Wearing FemCap during dive-sex has a depth limitation of 20 to 30 feet due to the squeeze of water pressure on the dome. In addition wearing FemCap during menstrual dive-sex is questionable even at shallow depths since even though menstrual discharge is not flowing while in the water immediately after emerging a gush can dislodge the cap and spill a significant quantity of flow all over the wearer’s suit, legs and surroundings. You might be able to get away with wearing it on a very light day, but my advice is not to use FemCap at all while menstrual.

Menstrual ballet-sex: Ballet-sex as discussed here is defined as being penetrated from behind while sur les pointes a la seconde while bent over holding on to the barre. For menstrual ballet-sex where a diaphragm is used for flow control any rim style can be used. However, knowledgeable women prefer wearing Reflexions because it is nearly impossible to under-thrust the rim and during menstrual sex you really don’t want the dome contents to spill due to the rim being under-thrust. If you don’t mind the mess and wear old shoes that you don’t mind being stained then it’s usually quite safe for an STI free couple to go w/o contraception of any kind. The only caution is for women with very short cycles (there are a few) who become fertile before their periods are over. For those women a diaphragm and a good spermicide are always needed.

Pointe shoes for menstrual ballet-sex may differ in size from pointes worn for ballet-sex at other times during a woman’s cycle. The amount of foot swelling while menstrual can depend on her menstrual day and how long she has been on her feet which will determine if she needs to wear a larger size or remove some of the padding from the size she usually wears. If I’m wearing Gaynors I can usually just not wear toe pads and be comfortable enough. If I’m wearing Freed Classics I have to go up a half size and in Bloch Alpha I have to go up between a half and a full size and retain the padding in pointes made of traditional materials.

Menstrual dive-sex: Dive-sex as discussed here is defined as sex underwater using SCUBA equipment. However, the same cautions apply even if the couple is only in water up to their waists.  Dive-sex while menstrual is no different than when in other cycle phases as far as precautions that need to be taken in that a latex Reflexions flat spring should be worn for flood insurance. If one of the couple is allergic to latex then a Cooper Surgical silicon wide seal Milex arcing spring diaphragm should be used. That’s because with its two elbow hinges the Milex arcing spring is the next most difficult diaphragm to under-thrust. You should take a cramp relieving medication. 800 mg of ibuprofen usually does the trick for me when I have cramps which fortunately is seldom. Of course the best cramp relief is an orgasm so we all look forward to the first orgasms of the day when the red sea is flowing.

When menstrual and using a diaphragm for flow control a woman should always empty it and reinsert before entering the water for dive-sex and if wearing a style other than a Reflexions flat spring she should switch (unless there is an allergy to latex addressed above) to the Reflexions because it is the safest to use for flood control during underwater sex.  And underwater sex while menstrual can be the most dangerous from a pelvic health standpoint since the uterine lining is sloughing off and blood is flowing freely. That means if from a partner’s thrusting water or an air bubble is forced into the uterus while menstrual there is a greater chance for an infection or an air bubble getting into the bloodstream to cause clots in the lungs, heart or brain.

Water pressure will almost always stop menstrual flow while swimming or diving. However, after coming out of the water there can be a gush that if it’s on a heavy day and she’s been in the water a long time could overload the dome and spill.

Brad doesn’t know as the body was too badly burned for an autopsy and I haven’t told him as I think it would add to his grief. Brad is insistent that since I look enough like her - I could be Jenna’s identical twin - I wear her Bloch Alpha pointes as she was a ballet dancer and he thinks me wearing them helps in the transubstantiation process. He is at least partially correct because I use the traces of her Chi to help me be more authentic in my role as Jenna. When I’m dressed in her things we do look amazingly similar and with her scent and her mannerisms from videos I am a very convincing Jenna and Brad doesn’t need convincing. I think of myself as an actress in a role, a ‘Reality Chick’, helping a grieving husband find release to ease him through an emotional tragedy.  

He has this fascination with ballet-sex with me in her Alpha pointes, partially I think because he got so little of it. Perhaps that was because Alpha pointes are an advanced dancers shoe and almost impossible to relax in when en pointe so being taken on her toes in them was probably not fun for her. While I’m new to the Alpha shoe I think I’m adjusting well to ballet-sex in it. It’s not nearly as comfy and supportive as hard shanked Gaynor Minden shoes, but in Alpha’s favor is that the 4 ½ xxx is such a good fit that my toes go numb when I’m en pointe so with toe pads thrust-drop hasn’t been the problem I thought it might be though my platforms are lifted several inches off the floor during the last few thrusts before he comes. The Alpha style also appeals to the masochist in me not to mention the narcissist as they make my feet and legs look beautiful. Too, there is risk involved as they can be a dangerous shoe for high arched dancers to wear and that danger appeals to my sense of adventure.

After being taken several times while sur les pointes a la seconde while bent over holding on to the barre I Kegel his load into a puffs tissue and he carries me to bed. I sit on the bed and take off my sweat soaked Alphas and put them in a Ziploc bag so they retain the moisture and scent then give them to him to smell and fondle the next day. Then he sucks and tongues the toe-cheese from between my toes and I snuggle into his arms. It’s almost as if he’s been drugged how quickly he falls into a deep sleep. When he’s asleep I get up, shower and leave for the evening. When we meet the next day I spray the pair I gave Brad to fondle with a good anti-fungal spray and put them on the rack with the other shoes to dry.

Alphas in clubs: For a woman who can pull it off clubbing in Alpha pointes has advantages. Wearing Alphas in a fetish club establishes ones bona fides as an accomplished fetishist if you can walk around easily and confidently en pointe in them and stay on your toes the full time you are standing. Clean satin heels after a nights clubbing is a major indicator of the strength of the woman’s feet if she is in Alpha pointes.  Mincing around in them establishes the wearer as a pretender so almost no one tries as the discomfort is too great for experienced dancers and amateurs are rightly concerned about injury.  In vanilla clubs wearing pointes at all is extremely rare and then only by a professional dancer with strong feet. When Brad takes me dancing at a vanilla club when we take to the floor everyone else stops and watches us. I tease him that we should charge for entertaining. Satin trimmed off the platforms and darned platform edges ensure good traction on the slipperiest floors.

Toe-chicks: While I’m on the subject of Alphas for ballet-sex my wards in their after school jobs as assistant trainers working with male escort candidates are known as the toe-chicks because they are the only trainers who wear pointe shoes. Other trainers wear five inch stripper heels for ballet-sex which is a good approximation, but not the real thing because the pelvic muscles only develop maximum grip when the entire foot and leg is extended so they don’t give a male candidate the full-ballet-sex experience. As a consequence my girls are in demand as trainers.

I’ve mentioned before putting both Bea and Willow in Bloch Alphas. Willow can wear them marvelously well, but isn’t as fascinated with them as Bea and still performs in bespoke Freed Classics. Bea doesn’t want to take her Alpha pointes off and now takes class in them as well as wearing them when she is helping train escorts! Her combination of exuberance, energy and love of a challenge have her far more comfortable in Alphas than Willow and she is a favorite with the escort candidates she works with. The swan twins aren’t ready for Alphas and probably never will be. They are still in Freeds for ballet class and hard shanked Gaynors when working with their assigned escort trainees. They love the sex, but aren’t interested in the work required to be able to wear Alphas confidently and not hurt themselves.

Brad and Reflexions: I’m trying to move Brad away from Jenna’s 70mm Omniflex diaphragms because he is damaging his frenulum by under-thrusting them in missionary.  In my persona as Jenna I’m substituting a correctly fitting (for me) 80mm latex reflections while pointing out how much softer, stretcher and more natural the dome feels since it transfers body heat so much better than the silicone of an Omniflex. So far he does like the feeling, but I think his acceptance had a lot to do with the fact that ‘Jenna’ suggested it. I’m relieved I got him to accept Jenna wearing an 80mm Reflexions because I’ll need it for effective flood insurance when I teach him about dive-sex. My period will be starting tomorrow, Saturday. I have a Reflexions inserted now as I’m already spotting and I can’t wear Oves for flood protection while I’m menstrual.

Winter still: We had a taste of early Spring here this past Wednesday 4/2 when the temps were in the mid 60s and there was snow again in the Spring Mts. So it was still good weather to wear latex catsuits to the clubs and private parties. Not so next week as the forecast is for the high 70s and low 80s, really sticky latex catsuit weather.

A working vacation, training diaphragm fitters

The silicon Milex wide seal diaphragm comes in two rim styles an arcing spring and the Omniflex which has a coil spring rim and comes in  8 diameter sizes, 60mm through 95mm in 5mm increments.

The Milex Arcing spring rim is similar to the (now discontinued) Ortho All-Flex in rim spring strength. However, unlike the All-Flex the Milex Arcing spring folds on two elbow hinges so must be compressed at two specific spots on the rim. The Omniflex can be folded by compressing it anywhere on the rim.

A wonderful training opportunity: Jack and Chris, our male Gyn, had been working for several months on a really great opportunity for the girls to meet some young male Gynecologists who are rising stars in their profession. The opportunity occurred because there was a Gyn conference in Inverness this past week which they were all attending. Diaphragm and cervical cap fitting is no longer being taught in med schools so since my wards and I would be in the area for the vernal equinox Chris offered to conduct a short course in cervical barrier fitting for five of the interested young doctors and got permission to hold it at Crag Abbey. 

He had cleared it with me first and I had gotten the required permissions for the girls to miss classes for several days to participate in a ‘medical seminar’. And of course anything that involves the vaginas of reproductive age women interests His Grace so the cervical barrier short course is underway and includes the silicone FemCap as well as the silicone Ortho All-Flex, the Milex wide seal arcing spring, the Milex wide seal Omniflex (coil spring) and the latex Reflexions flat spring devices and a new device that recently appeared on the market, the single size Caya contoured diaphragm that was designed to be used by women taking a traditional diaphragm in a range of the four most commonly prescribed sizes, 65mm through 80mm.  

How the seminar works: First there is a lecture on the particular device to be fitted (it’s positive and negative features and how it folds for insertion and removal techniques. Then there is a fitting demonstration with me as the patient and Chris as the fitter. Then the individual student Gyns take one of the girls or me as a fitting patient while Chris supervises the individual fitting processes; the pelvic exam (minus the PAP smear) to check for suitable pelvic anatomy needed for a correct fit and effective use of a cervical barrier; a pronounced post-pubic vault and a cervix that is not too anteverted or retroverted.

My women readers I’m sure are starting to squirm at the though of having six pelvic exams in a few days even if they don’t include PAP smears, but the girls and I are up for it and having lovely hunky knowledgeable men gently fondling our reproductive organs can be a huge turn-on which in itself is a problem when a Gyn is trying to fit the woman with a diaphragm of the correct size. That’s because if a patient becomes aroused while being fitted her vagina will tent (lengthen) so there is a good chance she will be prescribed a diaphragm that is too large with the attendant poor seal causing reduced effectiveness and discomfort that could cause a UTI.

To avoid that the Gyn should be professional and quick in his or her measurements and fitting and exchanging the correct size with a larger and smaller size so the patient can feel the difference with her fingers. That’s so if she gains or loses weight she can check with her fingers to verify her fit. A change in weight of +/-10 lbs and she should have her fit checked by a knowledgeable fitter. Usually a gain in weight requires a smaller size and a decrease in weight requires a larger size, but not always.

STI screening: Getting recent full STI panels on the five student Gyns and Emma wasn’t as difficult as I first feared. They were each able to supply a current and clean full STI panel as they had been told it was a requirement for participating in the course.

Esthetics: A few days before we left my wards and I went to Body Buffers for a full body waxing, everything but eyebrows and scalp hair. The dresser who travels with me also works at Body Buffers as an Esthetician for a few elite clients and we all go to her. She gives our pubes the smoothest and the least painful waxing of any Brazilian Esthetician I’ve ever used. My girls call her pubes waxing our ‘ballet bushes’, meaning there isn’t a trace of pubic hair anywhere on any of us when she is through. Women working in erotic dance and as escorts have long known that waxed pubes are the easiest to keep clean and provide the best line under very small gossamer costumes as well as a smooth surface for a man’s bush to rub against when we are entered from the front.

Emma: One of the student Gyns brought along his twenty-seven y/o wife, Emma, who is using the Symptothermal method of contraception (that measures basal body temp, cervical position and cervical fluid) backed by a fertility computer and condoms during her fertile days. I thought she might be a hindrance to the seminar. However, I found she and her husband are very broadminded about sex among friends. Too, she has been interested in trying cervical barriers in lieu of condoms and being fitted with CBs she was thrilled as much as the other girls to have the opportunity to enjoy intimate relations with each of the student Gyns. We all felt that sampling six new men known to be STI free and knowledgeable about female anatomy; the five student Gyns and Chris was a chance not to be missed.   

The girls, including Emma, spent half a day with each Gyn then moved to a different one, Chris making the sixth Gyn, and each gave his ‘patient’ road tests of their barriers so all six of us girls were able to have sex with each of the six men.  Jack had been called away to London on estate business so with Emma, my four wards and me that gave us a one-to-one ratio of women to men, ideal for a seminar of this nature that requires women circulating between partners so the Gyns can learn about how different women react and different barriers feel. Important knowledge when they will be counseling patients about their choice of a cervical barrier. Then we all move to the study fitting and trial of a different device. The cervical barriers being studied and fitted are: 1. Ortho All-Flex arcing spring – included because while manufacturer discontinued there are still so many in use. 2. The Milex Arcing spring and, 3. The silicone Omniflex, coil spring rim. 4. The latex Reflexions flat spring, 5.The Caya single size contoured rim and 6. The FemCap.  The seminar is going extremely well and is being enjoyed by all concerned as we get to sleep with a different man each night.

The last two days will be spent giving the student Gyns experience with Ballet-sex, dive-sex and under-thrusting coil spring and Caya diaphragms. Usually the last day(s) of a seminar are noted for the attendees disappearing, but that won’t be the case with this one because there is nowhere for them to go and no attending heterosexual male is going to miss two days of ballet-sex in the studio and dive-sex (in the Abbey’s heated pool) with lovely, young, experienced and very tight muscled girls. Jack had twelve sets of SCUBA gear with OTS Guardian FFMs, tanks and a portable air compressor for refilling tanks as well as a Divemaster laid on for our day of dive-sex training. I’m CD17 and all of us are luteal except Emma who is fertile and overdue to ovulate. She thinks it is due to the stress of being with so many new men, which is probably the case.

Coaching Emma: Since Emma would be having sex with her husband plus five new men repeatedly over in interval of four days and she wasn’t as sexually experienced as the rest of us girls I took her aside and taught her a bit about penetrative sex with multiple partners. Things like making sure she inserted the prefilled disposable (surface size 5ml or the 10ml for dive-sex prefilled applicators) of Dive Gel+ before her first encounter with each new man and to urinate before and immediately after sex to minimize the likelihood of UTIs an YIs from the different bacteria from so many men over such a short time and to check the placement of her diaphragm or cap immediately before and again immediately after each act of IC.  

Fortunately Emma took ballet in school and has continued adult pointe classes after her work as an office manager for an engineering Co. in London. She also routinely practices Kegels with one inch Pyrex Ben Wa balls and I found she is tightly muscled when I checked her pelvic anatomy to make sure she was physically suitable for the seminar.   It’s amazing how many Gyn and ER doctors’ marry sexually adventuresome women who take pointe and Emma is relatively good for someone taking only three ninety minute classes a week. Jack had previously alerted her husband about how the seminar was set up so she knew to bring practice clothes and pointe shoes (she wears Grishko 2007s) and we all take class in the tower studio that had been built for Cyndi where I have practiced for years.

I was fortunate and managed to catch her a few days before we arrived and discussed the desirability of having her pubes waxed, if for no other reason that there would be a lot of activity down there and even a tightly trimmed bush tends to get in the way with that much activity. She was already ahead of me and had booked a full body waxing.  I suggested that since she would be new to ballet-sex she might want to stop by a local dance shop, she went to Dancia International (the one in Drury Lane), to be fitted for hard shanked Gaynor Minden shoes for her introduction to ballet-sex. Otherwise she would have had to wear her Grishko 2007s which I think would have been very unpleasant for her. Even in hard shanked GMs I’m not sure how well her feet and calves will hold up during ballet-sex.

Looking a day or two ahead: The weather forecast for Inverness is for clear or partly cloudy through this Friday with the evening temps at or just above freezing and in the high 40s during the day. So we should have good weather for the start of our return home.

Milex as a training diaphragm, prep. for the Vernal Equinox

Escorts, training assistants and training diaphragms: Training diaphragms serve several purposes. Things like decreasing the sensitivity of both an escort candidate and his training assistant so he can build his stamina for delayed orgasms. Learning effective techniques to under-thrust an All-Flex or Omniflex diaphragm on request or covertly. And for the women escort candidates how to wear a latex Reflexions flat spring diaphragm as flood insurance, to prevent having water forced into her uterus during dive-sex.

Stamina building: To increase the effort needed to cause a woman to reach vaginal orgasm a silicone diaphragm of the proper contraceptive size can be worn. Silicone diaphragms have far poorer heat transfer properties that the latex devices they replaced so decrease the tactile sensitivity of male/female vaginal contact. Depending on the individual woman’s pelvic anatomy occasionally the rim of an Omniflex might rub against her G-spot when she’s aroused increasing her sensitivity. With training assistants who have this situation (I was going to say ‘problem’, but for most Milex wearers that would not be a problem) it can usually be eliminated by having the training assistant wear a diaphragm one size larger.

Since all our TAs have GyneFix IUDs implanted the too large training diaphragm can be removed immediately after the training session since there is no need to leave it inserted for a minimum of six hours after having semen released in her vagina. Removing the too large diaphragm immediately after the training session prevents the possibility of developing a UTI from being unable to empty her bladder completely due to the too large rim pressing on her urethra.

Under-thrust training: Two different sizes are used for training depending on the woman client’s desired scenario; either accidental under-thrust where a properly sized Omniflex is used or a breeding fantasy where a diaphragm two sizes too small is used to increase the likelihood and ease of a partner intentionally under-thrusting the rim and filling the dome with semen.

Gas guard/flood insurance: This is taught to both training assistants and to sexually adventurous female clients who come to Adolph’s spa, The Lorelei, for encounters with some of Pirate’s stable of stallions. A correctly sized device or perhaps one size larger latex Reflexions flat spring diaphragm is worn to protect the woman from the possibility of having water forced into her uterus by the hydraulics of her partner’s thrusts during underwater sex.

If the woman is on another effective method of contraception the one size larger can be worn for the dive and removed immediately afterward to avoid the possibility of developing a UTI. With guests at The Lorelei diaphragms are usually fitted since they can be worn at any depth and Lorelei guests have access to Adolph’s deep water training facility. FemCaps can be fitted if the pelvic anatomy permits, but they are subject to painful squeeze below thirty feet.

Beware the Ides of March: Today Adolph’s 18 y/o niece had a serious accident while training with Adolph in his deep water training facility. Fortunately it occurred while he was with her so no one else can be blamed as his temper is legendary when something goes wrong. It was her fault as she had intentionally worn an Omniflex into The Well with him rather than the flat spring latex Reflexions she knew needed for maximum flood insurance protection. She told me later that she so loves it when her partner under-thrusts her protection, even though in her case it wouldn’t have resulted in a pregnancy even if she had been fertile because she has a GyneFix IUD implanted. I understand that feeling since I enjoy it too, though in my case if my Oves displaced while I was fertile I’d stand a good chance of conceiving.

When he took her in missionary at 125 feet while breathing Nitrox II she was a bit narced and her fantasy about having semen in the dome of her diaphragm combined to cloud her judgment and she didn’t object when he under-thrust the rim. During that encounter she had an air bubble forced into her uterus. She was on her period and some of the air formed a clot in her lung.  I’m CD7 today and she is cycling a few days behind me at the moment and was CD3 and bleeding heavily, the most dangerous time, when she got the clot. She is doing well enough in Adolph’s private hospital considering what might have happened, but will be on blood thinners and under observation for a few days. What that means is that she will not be going with me and my other wards to celebrate the Vernal Equinox on March 20^th at Location Z.

Smokeless fire: I’ve been working on my basic skills as a handmade of Aphrodite and I think I’ve mastered the formulation (with the help of Jeff at Labia Labs) of a special ingredient that can be sprinkled on wood and peat fires that will make them burn smokeless and nearly completely so there is almost no ash left. This will allow the use of the twenty large stone fire pits Jack found buried in the ground, four per altar, around the five altars at Location Z to provide warmth for the demi-handmaidens and me and our inductees. The fire pits had stone lids on them which is why they went undiscovered until recently and helps explain the distance between the main and secondary altars. Taking the smoke out of the peat fires while increasing the heat released will improve our comfort substantially while reducing the likelihood that we will be detected from the smoke if the weather happens to be clear. Jack already has pre-positioned stacks of cut blocks of dried peat under tarps in the provisioning area and the pits filled with the first blocks for the vernal equinox celebration.  The fires for this years vernal equinox will be the first in the fire pits in hundreds of years and other than improving our comfort I wonder what other effect they might have.

UNLV’s spring recess is from March 17-22 so we will be leaving for Inverness and Ullapool this coming Monday the 17^th.
