A successful Summer Ballet Intensive: Now my Summer Ballet Intensive has come to the end of its third and final week at Blackthorn Castle. This morning the students all boarded ‘The Dragon’, my personal rail cars, for the trip to London St Pancreas on their way back to their homes.

Semina as a training diaphragm: Returning readers will recall that in my May 6, 2016 post about the requirements for students at the 2016 Blackthorn Ballet Summer Intensive I wrote about the desirability of Semina as a starter cervical barrier for teens: 

“A sexually active barrier-girl should never be without her diaphragm and the Seminas pink transparent silicone rubber, which some wearer’s have compared to a pink soap bubble, has proved very attractive when used as a young woman’s first experience with cervical barriers. The use of a Semina began as an alternative for teens that were too small for an IUD and couldn’t use hormonal contraceptives. However, when it was found that they could also be effectively used for cervix protection (flood insurance) during under water penetrative sex even the girls on hormonal birth control wanted to be fitted for a Semina. IUDs and cervical barriers are only compatible when the IUD strings are trimmed off so they don’t stick to a cervical barrier worn for ‘flood insurance’ during underwater penetrative vaginal sex which is one of the more arcane subjects on the syllabus during the Blackthorn Ballet Summer Intensive. Stringless IUDs worn by up-market Escorts and our students are checked for proper position with periodic ultrasound scans.”

The introducer shown in the photo is used to simplify insertion especially for women with short fingers. Unfortunately, introducers are no longer generally available, but it is easy to learn the proper insertion technique. Should BBSI students progress to become “socially available” for underwater penetrative sex they can switch to a latex flat spring diaphragm similar to the Reflexions of blessed memory which can be custom made. While some few people are allergic to latex and natural rubber latex does not last as long as silicone the advantages are considerable as the heat transfer and the elastic properties of the translucent dome membrane are far superior to silicone and for a partner interested in the strong scent of a diaphragm left inserted for more than twenty-four hours’ latex is the preferred material as the scent can be eye-watering. Additionally, the flat spring rim which only folds in a single plane makes it very desirable as ‘flood insurance’ because it’s nearly impossible for even a mischievous lover to intentionally under-thrust the rim. Latex flat spring diaphragms are still the barrier type preferred by elite level Courtesans and Escorts and now are only available through specialist GYNs by special order.

Student injuries: We have been fortunate to have no serious injuries just the normal things like split and bruised nails, not that they aren’t painful. There have been no problems with GyneFix IUDs or Semina diaphragms during after class social activities including surface and underwater sexual encounters. And there have been no pregnancies the insemination for which could have occurred prior to the student arriving at Blackthorn Castle. It would have been very unlikely as all the students have copper bead GyneFix IUDs implanted, but possible. There was a student who should have had a hymenectomy and she had a painful time with large diameter partners even when well lubricated. She insisted on continuing with the syllabus and it was a teaching moment for the entire class. 

Seren:  Returning readers will recall that my most recent ward is Seren a college mate of Bea at Cambridge who will be working as an intern Hostess with Bea at the Costume Club during summer holiday. She is Tim (my current lover’s) 18 y/o second cousin and while taking ballet and meeting the requirements of the ballet intensive was a last minute addition when another student dropped out. There was some concern that she wouldn’t be able to keep up as she hadn’t had nearly as long to prepare as the other students. I’m pleased to say that she has marvelous stamina, poise and lovely technique so she finished in the top third of the class for the ballet part of the course. She has been equally as impressive with the social side enjoying her encounters with various male sexual partners and having an impressive pelvic grip, the ability to withstand multiple orgasms w/o fainting and is a class favorite among the men, but that was something they tried not to show since summer intensives are very competitive w/o introducing favoritism.

Semina is effective and popular with teens: In my introductory sex-ed course, Contemporary Sexual Health, I use Semina diaphragms because they are effective as well as pretty (which makes very young women feel adult, attractive and confident) so a Semina is more likely to be used during surface-sex. The Semina with spermicide in the dome is a good non-hormonal option when young women reach menarche and begin to need protection for sexual intercourse as it will allow sex with unprotected men giving young women experience in coping with coital discharge.

Semina is manufactured and available primarily in Brazil. It is very difficult to get in the U.S. and it is only selectively available from private clinics in the UK. However, it can be worth the trouble for a student who needs encouragement, something that she thinks is pretty as well as adult and effective which can give her a boost in self confidence.

The diaphragm as an anterior fornix thrust-buffer: I’ve written about this before, but it bears repeating because for some of us it can be important. For a woman with a well endowed partner who can thrust painfully into her anterior fornix a traditional diaphragm can provide some thrust-buffering. I usually wear a latex Reflexions flat spring rim which is no longer commercially available or a custom fitted latex FS device made for me by my London Gyn clinic. In addition to thrust-buffering with my latex FS diaphragm I get a twofer! That’s because when I’m fully aroused so my cervix has been pulled up and back out of the way of an average length penis when Tiny Tim one of my magnificently endowed lovers enters me in missionary he can push the stretched latex membrane of the dome up into my anterior fornix. At the same time the pressure of the dome on the tip of my cervix forces my cervix deeper while the increasing pressure of the stretchy dome squeezes his glans as his thrusts push it deeper into my anterior fornix giving me an A-spot orgasm while buffering his thrusts by slowing or stopping them before he hits bottom while at the same time pulling the anterior rim far enough away from the back of my pubic bone to rub against my G-spot.  None of my friends using a diaphragm have had anything like the mind-fucking turns-me-to-jelly pleasure of a simultaneous two erogenous zone orgasms with a single contraceptive device.

When a latex FS device is not available silicone diaphragms such as the Milex (Omniflex or Arcing rim) or Semina (coil spring), but not a Caya contoured diaphragm - because the Caya has a smaller diameter and deeper dome - work well for thrust-buffering. Of the silicone options I think a Milex arcing spring rim works best since with an Omniflex or Semina the coil spring rims are more flexible so tend to put less pressure on the tip of the cervix.

Even though the Reflexions flat spring diaphragm is no longer commercially available a Gyn clinic specializing in cervical barriers (like the Blackthorn Clinic in London) can have a latex FS device custom made. And because a latex FS rim device has better heat transfer properties and the flat spring rim is almost impossible to even intentionally under-thrust by a mischievous partner it is the preferred cervical barrier used by  latex fetish escorts and as a flood insurance device it can be used for dive-sex at any depth. The down side of a latex device is that it won’t last as long as a silicone one and can’t be used by couples with a latex allergy.

The pointe-shoe as a defensive weapon: Occasionally a dancer in pointe-shoes can find herself at a disadvantage with a male partner who won’t take no for an answer. It’s difficult to out run a man while you’re wearing pointes, but the hard blocks make ideal blunt force trauma weapons if you are willing to use them. A kick to the temple to fracture the skull and knock him out; A kick to the kneecap to crush the bones and make the knee fold to the side or back; or a flexed foot kick to the pelvis coming up under his penis to crush it against his pubic bone all can be effective, though a kick to the pelvis may not be effective if he is wearing a groin protector/sports cup. A dance belt won’t protect his genitals from a hard blow from below but a sports cup probably will.

However, I think it’s unlikely to find an amorous man wearing a groin protector in a dance setting, but dance belts are standard on performing males. I’ve found that crushing an attacker’s knee so he can’t chase me works best unless he has bent over so his skull is accessible with a sharp high kick with a pointed foot. Once his knee is shattered an attacker can’t stand and a knockout kick to his head is much easier.  For a woman with several years’ ballet training putting a foot into an attackers kneecap should be relatively easy as foot placement in space becomes second nature.

Tim is Returning to school: He is being posted to the Joint Services Command and Staff College (JSCSC) after he finishes his leave. It is located at Shrivenham in west Oxfordshire which is quite rural and rather near the eastern border of Wales. So perhaps if he can get an occasional day off we can fuck each others brains out for relaxation. In his case I’m all for doing what I can to keep up the morale of our military. Shrivenham is about 120 miles (a bit less than 3 hours in good weather) up the M50 to Caersws then another 1 ½ hours from there south west on the A470 toward Llanidloes and into the mountains to Blackthorn Castle.

Monday 30 May 2016 (Spring Bank Holiday): The Spring Bank Holiday is already underway and those who can took Friday off and made it a four day weekend. While Easter Term ends at Cambridge on 10 June and exams are rapidly approaching Bea came stay with me here at the castle for the long weekend and she brought a lover with her. The Blackthorn Summer Ballet Intensive: We have been very pleased with the response from ballet schools in the U.S. Canada and the UK in recommending carefully selected student candidates for the second year of the Blackthorn Ballet Summer intensive, commonly known locally as the BBSI. Even with a long list of necessary ballet skill qualifications we have received more than 275 applications for the course. 15 women will be chosen and we will have 15 young male ballet dancers as their partners for the two week course. No other school has a 1:1 ratio of women to men when teaching a ballet course. Seeking to participate in the BBSI is something that mothers of prospected students must discuss in depth with their daughters as a student with no knowledge of or experience with her reproductive tract is an unsuitable candidate. A great many of our students come from families where the mothers are former dancers who have been very sexually active and where sexual activity by the daughter is encouraged as it is seen as providing experience and adding depth to the daughter’s arsenal of erotic resources as she chooses a permanent mate.

Each student candidate in addition to having demonstrated considerable talent, stamina, grace and poise as a young ballet dancer must, because of unique aspects of the course dealing with seduction of the human male, meet additional health, safety and legal requirements some of which are:

Summer intensive student requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of pointe work
• Must be between the ages of 16 and 18.
• Must have completed the three injection regimen of Gardasil vaccine.
• Must have had a recent pelvic to ensure she has a healthy cervix and doesn’t need a hymenectomy to allow penile-vaginal-intercourse, PVI.
• Must have a current negative full panel STI test. This can occasionally get a mother’s hackles up, but when It’s explained that their daughter will be intimate with a number if men during the course of her training and that all the other students and their male partners must pass the full STI panel as well they understand the need for it. 
• Must have had a stringless GyneFix copper bead IUD implanted at least two months prior to arrival for class as it’s important for attendees to be well protected while cycling naturally an order to learn to use her cyclical hormonal swings to her advantage during seduction training.
• Must have a negative serum pregnancy test, which will be administered when the student reaches the course venue, Blackthorn Castle.  It’s important that prospective students take any additional contraceptive precautions necessary even with a copper IUD implanted. Students arriving pregnant will not be allowed to participate.
• Must have the pelvic anatomy (a deep post-pubic vault) to be correctly fitted for a contraceptive diaphragm – Our Gyn clinic will fit and supply the silicone Semina coil spring rim diaphragms at no cost to the students. Semina is available in six diameter sizes, from 60 to 85mm, in 5mm increments. For more about the why we are using the Semina coil spring diaphragm as an introductory cervical barrier see below.
• Must be able to be correctly fitted with and have at least six pairs of Gaynor Minden pointes with suede tips and extra hard shanks required for ballet-sex training. The extra hard shanks turn a regular élève style shoe (where the wearer rolls through the foot on to pointe) into a relevé style shoe where the wearer springs or steps on to pointe. Extra hard shanked shoes are needed for ballet-sex because they will support an average weight (115lb woman) dancer when she puts her weight on her heels, which is poor technique but occurs when she is fucked boneless while on her toes. With internal platform pads Gaynors are far superior to pointes made of conventional materials in minimizing the likelihood that the wearer’s toes will be injured from thrust-drop during ballet-sex.  If the student wears pointes made of traditional materials they may be worn for class, rehearsals and performances, but not ballet-sex training.

With this list of requirements some of which require long lead times you can see why putting in a last minute request for a place in class is not a winning strategy.

Nikolai will teach: I am very pleased to say that Nikolai, a young (26 y/o) Russian male ballet star who has been dancing with the RB for the 2015-16 season has had his contract renewed for the 2016-17 season. A gorgeous male of amazing grace, poise and virility Nikolai will be working with the Female students and supervising other male ballet members as instructors and partners for the women students. He is one of the attractions of the Blackthorn Summer Ballet Intensive as his reputation as having amazing sexual stamina as well as being a considerate lover has already become legendary in ballet circles. Having Nikolai as a lover is one of the lifetime goals of a great many young women dancers so I consider myself fortunate to have him as a dance and bed partner when he is not dancing with his company.

Lost and found in the sheets: Housekeeping found a NuvaRing in the sheets of one of my New Years house party women guests’ room. She had either expelled it or a lover had hooked it with the corona of his glans and accidently pulled it out. Obviously she was unaware that it was no longer inside and providing protection. When he withdrew she should have immediately checked to see that the ring was still in place and perhaps she did. If she rolled over for a post coital nap and passed gas if she doesn’t have a pronounced post-pubic vault with the back of the pubic bone for the ring to rest against her pelvic contractions could have easily squeezed the ring and it slipped out. I knew who was assigned the room so I called her and mentioned a ring of hers had been found. At first she thought I was talking about a finger ring and assured me she had checked all her jewelry was packed before she left the castle. Then I was a bit more specific that it was a vaginal contraceptive ring.

 

She gasped and there was a noise as she tried to catch her cell as it slipped from her fingers. Moments later she picked it up and in a shaky voice said her ring was missing. Case solved! NuvaRing has an outer diameter of 54 mm and a cross-sectional diameter of 4 mm. and releases on average 0.12 mg/day of etonogestrel and 0.015 mg/day of ethinyl estradiol.  It had been out for much longer than the three hour removal limit during the first two weeks so she will have to use another method (condoms or a diaphragm) for 7 days while the hormones from the new ring reestablish her hormonal protection. She wasn’t sleeping with her husband. It depends on what night she lost the ring as to how serious her situation is. She should have been protected if she lost the ring on the last night. She is newly married and wants children, but not with possible paternity questions.

 

Blackthorn Priory girls training an update: Now that the holidays are over I was able to get back to taking care of my other responsibilities around the Barony one of which is tending to the sexual health of the girls school at Blackthorn Priory. I visited briefly at Christmas to distribute small gifts to girl each as none the students has family or home other than the sisters of the order and her schoolmates.

 

Returning readers may recall what I wrote about Blackthorn Priory in my December 31, 2014 post entitled ‘My Welsh Roots’: “There is nothing to suggest St. Candice (as I tend to think of her) was in any way a disciplinarian. However, she is patron saint of a religious community of women living in a surprisingly large medieval Priory the early parts of which date from the 11^th century.  The Priory is on Blackthorn Barony land within a few miles of the Baroness’s relatively small but superbly constructed 13^th C. castle…”

 

“The Priory is part of the Barony of Blackthorn and the office of Prioress of the Order is in the gift of the Baroness Blackthorn. Maintenance of the priory and the Order are paid for from a small percentage of the profit from the minerals mined on the Baronial estates. Pelvic exams and diaphragms: It is the custom at Blackthorn Priory as with many girls’ schools to give Priory girls reaching menarche their first gynecological exam and fit them with an effective barrier contraceptive so they can become accustomed to wearing it before they move to fifth and sixth forms at Barrow Priory in Middlesex where they will need it during social encounters as guests at dances at a neighboring boys school. Yesterday Chris, the male Gyn who works in my woman’s clinic, and I fitted all the students 14 and older with new FS latex diaphragms.

 

The primary training barrier (fitted at menarche) in use by Priory girls is the silicone Semina diaphragm which the girls think looks like a pink soap bubble a fact that helps the girls remember to insert their diaphragms for flow control on light days during menses. However, the smallest Semina is 60mm so any student requiring a smaller device had been fitted with a 22mm FemCap and a menstrual cup for flow control. Now that the Barony’s women’s clinic has flat spring rim diaphragms down to 50mm I have changed the regimen for girls 14 y/o and older to use latex flat spring diaphragms if they are not allergic to latex and any younger girls who at menarche need a diaphragm smaller than 60mm. A flat spring rim seals as well and is nearly impossible to under-thrust and the heat transfer properties of latex are far superior to the silicone of a Semina and silicone lube can be used with a latex D something that has become more important recently. And for divers a FS latex diaphragm can be safely worn at any depth. So wearing a latex diaphragm has become another rite-of-passage on the way to becoming a woman with all the responsibilities that entails. However, there is the fact that oily lubes of any sort, petroleum or vegetable, shouldn’t be used with a latex device as oil will destroy the latex, but that is a lesson best learned when young, impressionable and under supervision so it won’t be easily be forgotten or ignored.

 

Of course because of the age of consent the diaphragms provided to students younger than 16 are so they can become used to correctly wearing a cervical barrier using it exclusively as a menstrual cup for sanitary purposes.

 

Some readers may wonder why students reaching menarche are not immediately placed on hormonal contraceptives since these days so many girls routinely go on contraceptive hormones with all the negative side effects accompanying them. Some few Blackthorn girls are put on hormones if they have very painful periods or their cycles won’t stabilize. However, the Order feels that it is important for young women to experience the ebb and flow of their hormones while cycling naturally. Diaphragms let them become accustomed to handling their genitals w/o fear or shame (as so many young women these days have not been taught to do) and can experience the marvelous surge in creativity when fertile. Additionally, the discipline of inserting the diaphragm every evening before bed and removing and cleaning it each morning gets each into a routine that will be beneficial when they become sexually active.

 

New Years dildo presentations: In my annual New Years presentation as Baroness I presented each newly blossomed young woman with two dildos: her first borosilicate (Pyrex) glass dildo, a 1 ¾ inches in diameter and 8.0 inches long glass shaft in the shape of a phallus with a handle to use while on her back – a nice feature about Pyrex is that it can be warmed or cooled for use in hot or chilly weather. And since all the Priory school girls take ballet/pointe a high quality silicone one of the same size with a suction cup base with which to solo train for male penetration in the ballet studio. This second item is especially useful in training for deep penetration of the posterior fornix while en pointe during ballet-sex – suctioned on to the mirrored wall in a studio where the user can hold on to the barre rise en pointe and back on to the dildo. All the girls were eagerly anticipating trying them out.

 

Fitting the local swim team with latex diaphragms: Today Chris and I fit the local swim team with latex FS diaphragms.  The custom made 55, 60 and 65 mm latex flat spring rim diaphragms, to be used as ‘gas-guards’ since there have been two recent injuries involving women in the UK getting air or water in their uteri while playing or having sex in a pool which have gotten a lot of publicity in the medical press in the last few months. So since most adults in the surrounding villages work for the Barony either directly or indirectly my clinic is fitting the swim team with diaphragms at no cost to the swimmer or her family.

 

As my readers know latex diaphragms are particular effective for pool-sex since silicone lubricant can be used w/o harm to a latex diaphragm. Returning readers may also recall that a ‘gas-guard’ is a cervical barrier to prevent air being forced through the cervix into the uterus by a lover blowing into his partners vagina or when playing around with SCUBA gear where a mischievous friend holds the mouthpiece of his or her reg against a partner’s vulva and depresses the purge button sending a jet of compressed air into the vagina. All the swim team have mini (4 bead) frameless copper GyneFix IUDs implanted, (also free from the Blackthorn Clinic) with their strings trimmed off so they can wear cervical barriers w/o the possibility of pulling out the IUD while removing the cervical barrier when no longer needed.

 

FemCap wasn’t a choice since the depth limit of a FemCap is about 25 to 30 feet before squeeze on the dome makes it too uncomfortable to wear. And some of the girls are too small to effectively wear the smallest FemCap which is 22mm.  Caya was not considered because of the small sizes needed, rotation and the need for silicone lube.

Summer ballet intensive: I’m working with a large private London ballet school holding a two week adult Ballet Intensive starting this coming Monday June 29^th.  I’ll be teaching pointe and am already working with the female students to minimize the risk of conceiving from encounters with male students during the course. The girl’s ages rang from nineteen to twenty-three so all are over the age of consent for sex with male students. All are on some effective form of contraception if used correctly. However, the swimming pool and hot tub are two favorite locations for sex where a woman can float nearly weightless with her legs around her partner’s waist while letting him take her to orgasm and then fill her with semen. No hormonal method or IUD will protect her from the possibility of reproductive tract infections from water forced into the uterus so some form of cervical protection is needed as ‘flood insurance’. A FemCap can be used if the woman doesn’t have an IUD, isn’t on her period or is being penetrated when deeper than 25 feet underwater. The depth limitation is due to the uncomfortable squeeze of the dome on the wearer’s cervix below that depth. A correctly sized and properly placed diaphragm can be worn effectively at any point in a woman’s cycle, at any depth and with lube in the dome for IUD users to prevent the strings sticking to the dome. So a diaphragm is the barrier of choice.

Students and Semina diaphragms: Vaginal flooding during underwater sex is fairly common. Fortunately having water forced into the uterus is not, but it does occur and a pelvic infection can jeopardize a woman’s fertility. So I am fitting the students with contraceptive diaphragms to be worn to prevent uterine flooding from a partner’s thrusting during underwater sex. I fit the students with transparent silicone Semina coil spring diaphragms. Semina is made in Brazil and as a piece of protective equipment is far more attractive to young women than its Milex Omniflex counterpart making it something of a status symbol and fashion must-have for young sexually experienced students.

For young nulliparous women Semina is as effective as the more common Milex Omniflex (coil spring) and the Milex Arcing spring styles because their vaginas are tight and don’t need the heavier spring strength and wide seal flange of a Milex required for an effective fit for older women and women who have given birth. Semina is not available through NHS clinics and can only be obtained in the UK through a few private Gyn clinics.

Gaynor Minden pointes and ballet-sex: During the ballet intensive I will teach a course in ballet-sex, which as returning readers know is having penetrative intercourse with the woman entered from behind while en pointe with feet a la second bent over holding on to a barre, chair back or other suitable support. Semina diaphragms: New students entering St Lucy’s who have reached menarche are fitted with silicone Semina coil spring diaphragms as training diaphragms regardless of what other form of contraception they use as they will need a diaphragm for upper reproductive tract protection – to prevent water and or air bubbles from being forced into the uterus by the hydraulics of a lover’s thrusts during dive-sex. A coil spring diaphragm can be used for dive protection down to about 30 feet below which the rim will begin to distort and leak due to water pressure. All the pools generally available to the students are no deeper than 30 feet other than mine, (The Pit) at 64 feet, and Adolph’s, (The Well) at 216 feet. For both those venues they will need Reflexions flat spring diaphragms for effective dive protection. The RFID chip in each student’s Semina helps us track who is in class and who has forgotten their Semina, an infraction for which there are penalties.

The smallest diaphragms commercially available are:  the silicone Semina coil spring 60mm, the silicone Milex arcing or coil spring 60mm and the latex Reflexions flat spring 65mm. If we need diaphragms smaller than 60mm Labia Labs here in town can hand dip latex diaphragms in any of the three rim styles. Only a few of the younger petite girls require a 55mm.

Rarely do St Lucy’s students use diaphragms as their primary method of contraception. We try to get them to use stringless copper bead (GyneFix) IUDs effective for three years as their primary method since with a copper IUD the wearer will continue to cycle naturally and St Lucy’s feels strongly that some of the most creative and productive  work a woman can do occurs during the fertile days of her cycle. Removing the strings from the GyneFix before implantation allows the wearer to wear a diaphragm for flood insurance w/o the possibility of having the strings stick to the diaphragm and be pulled out when the diaphragm is removed.  

Alice shops in Gepetto’s ballet-boots: We returned from Tahoe on Sunday, Aug. 17^th. First thing on Monday (after ballet class and breakfast) we all went with Alice to pick up her new lightly armored ballet-boots and she loves the scent of new leather boots how well they fit and how wonderful they feel even after walking in them in one of the up-scale malls for more than an hour. Rim movement and leakage: Flexing of the rim of All-Flex and coil spring rims (Omniflex and Semina) and movement of the Reflexions flat spring due to a partner’s thrusts into the dome and our contractions during orgasm will cause a slight leakage of flow as the rim moves over the vaginal rugae, even for a diaphragm that has very strong suction in the dome. So a partner after withdrawal will be coated by a thin sheen of blood. You might be able to get away with wearing it on a very light day, but my advice is not to use FemCap at all while menstrual.

Menstrual ballet-sex: Ballet-sex as discussed here is defined as being penetrated from behind while sur les pointes a la seconde while bent over holding on to the barre. For menstrual ballet-sex where a diaphragm is used for flow control any rim style can be used. However, knowledgeable women prefer wearing Reflexions because it is nearly impossible to under-thrust the rim and during menstrual sex you really don’t want the dome contents to spill due to the rim being under-thrust. If you don’t mind the mess and wear old shoes that you don’t mind being stained then it’s usually quite safe for an STI free couple to go w/o contraception of any kind. The only caution is for women with very short cycles (there are a few) who become fertile before their periods are over. For those women a diaphragm and a good spermicide are always needed.

Pointe shoes for menstrual ballet-sex may differ in size from pointes worn for ballet-sex at other times during a woman’s cycle. The amount of foot swelling while menstrual can depend on her menstrual day and how long she has been on her feet which will determine if she needs to wear a larger size or remove some of the padding from the size she usually wears. If I’m wearing Gaynors I can usually just not wear toe pads and be comfortable enough. If I’m wearing Freed Classics I have to go up a half size and in Bloch Alpha I have to go up between a half and a full size and retain the padding in pointes made of traditional materials.

Menstrual dive-sex: Dive-sex as discussed here is defined as sex underwater using SCUBA equipment. However, the same cautions apply even if the couple is only in water up to their waists.  Dive-sex while menstrual is no different than when in other cycle phases as far as precautions that need to be taken in that a latex Reflexions flat spring should be worn for flood insurance. If one of the couple is allergic to latex then a Cooper Surgical silicon wide seal Milex arcing spring diaphragm should be used. That’s because with its two elbow hinges the Milex arcing spring is the next most difficult diaphragm to under-thrust. You should take a cramp relieving medication. 800 mg of ibuprofen usually does the trick for me when I have cramps which fortunately is seldom. Of course the best cramp relief is an orgasm so we all look forward to the first orgasms of the day when the red sea is flowing.

When menstrual and using a diaphragm for flow control a woman should always empty it and reinsert before entering the water for dive-sex and if wearing a style other than a Reflexions flat spring she should switch (unless there is an allergy to latex addressed above) to the Reflexions because it is the safest to use for flood control during underwater sex.  And underwater sex while menstrual can be the most dangerous from a pelvic health standpoint since the uterine lining is sloughing off and blood is flowing freely. That means if from a partner’s thrusting water or an air bubble is forced into the uterus while menstrual there is a greater chance for an infection or an air bubble getting into the bloodstream to cause clots in the lungs, heart or brain.

Water pressure will almost always stop menstrual flow while swimming or diving. However, after coming out of the water there can be a gush that if it’s on a heavy day and she’s been in the water a long time could overload the dome and spill.

This post: A reader asked me about syringe plugs and hot-loading masturbation. You’d be surprised at the number of women who don’t take their birth control pills correctly.
