The Pool Boy Effect

A cross-section of a Natare perimeter pool gutter:

The Photo: This Natare stainless steel gutter with a lip to which a swimmer can cling with her fingers or rest her arms on the grating over the trough while resting or while having underwater surface sex is what my pools, the encounter pools at Splash and the pools at Adolph’s deep water training facility as well as our casino’s bungalow pools are equipped with. It’s the sort of pool gutter that is installed by pool owners who are knowledgeable about the requirements for features that make an effective sexual encounter pool.

The Pool Boy effect: Is what I call the seasonal peak in diaphragm and cervical cap fittings from local women who plan to have sex in swimming pools during the summer. The Pool Boy effect began to be noticeable several years ago after there was a high profile incident involving a pool boy and the daughter of the pool owner that left the girl paralyzed from a stroke which her parents claimed was caused by the pool boy forcing water and air into her uterus during sex in their swimming pool which he had come to clean.

There were several articles mentioning the possibility of water or air being forced into the uterus during underwater sex if the vagina floods which is common. At the time it was recommended that women expecting or enjoying underwater sex protect their upper reproductive tracts by wearing a contraceptive diaphragm during underwater penetrative encounters which I’ve been teaching for years. With a properly fitted and correctly inserted diaphragm or cervical cap this can provide very effective protection, but shouldn’t be used by IUD wearers as the strings could stick to the diaphragm rim or cap and the IUD pulled out when the cervical barrier is removed. Of course women with IUDs from which the strings have been removed can use a diaphragm or cap safely for flood control.

In the last several years we have noticed college age women coming to be fitted as well as mothers bring high-school age daughters for diaphragms for use as flood protection regardless of the time of year if they take swimming, have pools at home or know someone who has a pool which is almost everyone out here. And the number of heated indoor pools has increased to the extent that the pool boy effect is no longer nearly as seasonal.

Right now moms are bringing in their teen daughters to be fitted for diaphragms as Christmas presents for the girls (w/o their fathers knowing), who have probably been having pool sex anyway, but this an ideal way to get it recognized as ok between mother and daughter so they can bond w/o fear of embarrassment while discussing male sexual appetites and how to satisfy them as well as their own.

As I expected, wearing a diaphragm has become something of a status symbol with adventuresome young sexually active women regardless of what other method of contraception they are using. I think it is because wearing a diaphragm to protect themselves during physically risky sex is a very adult thing to do and by being fitted and wearing one they feel more adult and in control.

When I asked Bea why her friends routinely insert diaphragms when they don bikinis she said it’s because the men can immediately tell they are protected when they insert a finger so think the girls are more experienced and older than many of them actually are. Knowing she has a diaphragm inserted tends to cancel out the pre-pubescent look of waxed pubes for men who are concerned about the possibility of the woman being underage.

It was the same when I was a teen when every girl at my ballet school was fitted for a diaphragm at menarche as is done at St Lucy’s. The look on a boy’s face the first timre he inserted a finger inside me and felt the rim of my diaphragm was priceless! Usually the first question was “What is that?” and I’d explain it was a cervical barrier that allowed me to take him bareback. That pretty much ended any concern that guys had. However, then hormonal birth control wasn’t as universal as it is today and many of us were depending on the diaphragm’s effectiveness to prevent becoming preggers.

Thanksgiving prep - update: First things first. I have all the full panel STI results for my guests, all negative and my girls and I are looking forward to sex with the several men whom we rarely see. The table has been extended in my dining room and the good china and silver is out washed and polished.  All the guests who had to travel have arrived safely ahead of the major storm expected along the Central and North East Coast tomorrow. The food is in my restaurant size refrigerators in my commercial size kitchen and the chef and his staff have been by to ensure she has everything needed ahead for the big day. I will have a divemaster on duty if there are guests who want to enjoy dive-sex, though I’m cautioning no drinking until after diving not before.

A tenth couple at my Thanksgiving table this year: In addition to 1) Ondine, (Willow’s mom) with Jacques, Gigi’s father and a former lover of mine as her partner; 2) Bea & Chris (our male Gyn); 3) Pirate and Yardley Flood, our ballet-boot trainer; 4) Adolph and Kassi (his new PR manager); 5&6) Odette and Odile (With the Gemini, Castor and Pollux who have been ardent in their continuing pursuit of the Swan Twins); 7) Marvin (Morning Wood) and me; 8) Paul (the Swan Twins father) and Gigi since she looks a lot like the swan twins and is submissive like Odette and; 9) Willow and Mitch who is a Stallion level Escort working for Pirate our local Stable Master. She is sweet on Mitch after they were paired during the series of tests he was given to prove he wasn’t responsible for the rash of pregnancies his clients with IUDs had. And finally the welcome addition; 10) my BGFF Anya with a mystery man (Chris has his current negative full panel STI results) who we all are looking forward to meeting

Cyndi’s cycle

5 minute results serum pregnancy test

Cyndi’s cycle: Well, it’s Friday July 30th and cycle day one (CD1) for me and most of my circle whose cycles are synched to mine. Returning readers may remember that almost all the women who train with me and who are cycling naturally found that their menstrual cycles almost always are synched to mine because of the pheromones from training and sweating in close proximity to each other so much of the time.

You remember that because Cyndi became infatuated with Freddy, (the Austrian dancer who was one of Natasha’s lovers and who I hired to partner Natasha while she is dancing at the High-rollers club) she thinks he impregnated her as he had so many of the dancers he was intimate with in various European ballet companies. The fact that Cyndi has a GyneFix IUD inserted so it is nearly impossible for her to become pregnant didn’t lessen the certainty of her belief that she would miss her period this cycle and test positive for the pregnancy hormone, hCG.

I took her to the clinic the first of this week for a serum pregnancy test which is far more sensitive than the First Response HPTs she had been using and there was no trace of hCG, but she was still skeptical. She could have gone alone, but I wanted to show my support whichever way the test went. At this point I’m not sure if she really wanted to be carrying Freddy’s baby or if she is laying a guilt trip on herself. She had been feeling pre-menstrual for the last several days with the normal accumulation of fluid prior to the start of menstrual bleeding and she interpreted that as very early signs of pregnancy, which would be extremely rare.

As I mentioned earlier the women in my circle who are cycling naturally are in synchrony with my cycle and nearly all of us (including Cyndi) started spotting yesterday and switched to wearing diaphragms/gas guards or menstrual cups for flow control. Cyndi began flowing normally last night so she is definitely not preggers and now seems to have accepted that fact and I think she is happy with that outcome.

Menstrual sex and gas guards: A lot of our men (especially European and Asian clients) love it when we are menstrual because they like to play in our bloody discharge. You’ll remember that when menstrual the only effective upper reproductive tract protection from embolisms and infection from pool water during deep dive sex - at depths below 10 meters - while menstruating is the Reflexions flat spring latex diaphragm. When not menstrual an Oves cap is the best gas guard (if a women can be correctly fitted with it) because of its small size, but an Oves or FemCap can’t be worn when menstrual because the flow would float the cap off the cervix and allow gas bubbles or pool water to pass into the uterus. So when menstrual we all use Reflexions latex gas guards to make things simpler; if a girl has an opportunity to dive deeper that ten meters she doesn’t have to switch from an arcing or coils spring rim to a flat spring Reflexions to be fully protected. Women who have GyneFix IUDs inserted or have cycles of 28 days or longer (so there is no chance of ovulating while menstrual) can safely remove their gas guards while menstrual if not planning to have sex underwater. That is such a popular option – to go with the flow - for escorts or courtesans since so many of our lovers enjoy the scent, taste, feel and look of bloody discharge during menstrual sex.

A reader asks: “Can you pump pure oxygen into the uterus?” OMG! Yes, you can, but why would you? Gas in the uterus will kill the woman! And it doesn’t have to be done with pure oxygen, any gas will do. We recently found that was used to off a Russian courtesan who specialized in dive sex while she was visiting friends in town. It’s a popular option for a professional hit since it is a fast and clean way to snuff a chick during a dive. You don’t even have to remove her gas guard- unless she has an Oves sucking on her cervix because Oves is the only gas guard that will protect the upper reproductive tract while being bubble fucked -.just insert a bubble-fuck reg and depress the purge button. I think the snuff video purists like to see the girl spasm during a heart attack. With a stroke there is usually a lot less action because the woman is paralyzed and drowns or suffocates quickly. So the videos of the heart attack victims writhing in pain in dive gear are much more eagerly sought after. For more about bubble-fucking see my entry for August 16, 2009

If a bubble-fuck regulator isn’t available you can make a surface apparatus by rigging up a cannula to a demand valve on one end and menstrual cup on the other. The Menstrual cup (A Diva or a Moon Cup) is inserted in the woman’s vagina and fitted over her cervix. Pressure from the cannula holds the cup in place. The purge button on the reg is depressed sending a surge of compressed gas into the wearer’s uterus where it will enter the bloodstream and cause an embolism that will cause a massive stroke or heart attack just as though she was underwater. Compressed air inserted in the uterus leaves no external marks on the body so at first it appears the woman died of natural causes.

The vaginal contraceptive ring

NuvaRing a 2” diameter ring worn for 3 weeks

NuvaRing stroke and DVT: One of Cyndi’s friends at St Lucy’s is using NuvaRing as her primary contraceptive method and a strapless FemCap as a gas guard when she has dive-sex classes, an elective at St Lucy’s. And before someone asks, no, FemCap won’t decrease the effectiveness of NuvaRing although the ring does have to be removed in order to insert FemCap, then the ring is reinserted. Cyndi’s friend has come to me asking if NuvaRing is safe to use. The answer is that (relatively speaking) it is. Perhaps not quite as safe from deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and strokes as some older progestin/estrogen combinations, but NuvaRing is still very safe. Personal injury lawyers would have women believe otherwise, but there is only a statistically small increase in blood clots and strokes for women on etonogestrel (a progestin) and ethinyl estradiol (an estrogen) in NuvaRing, than older types of progestins used in contraceptives. That is no comfort to the few additional women out of 10,000 who may be affected, but the risks are very slight if the woman is young, in good health, does not smoke and is not overweight.

Even so I’m not an advocate of hormonal contraceptives because, even for something as easy to use as NuvaRing annoying hormonal side effects like irregular bleeding, bloating, breast tenderness and reduced libido can be avoided by using a cervical barrier or frameless IUD. One other reason is the cost and another is that hormonal contraceptives can be tampered with and some medicines and foods can decrease the effectiveness of hormonal contraceptives, especially the very low dose kinds like NuvaRing so if the user gets a sinus or ear infection the antibiotic she is given to cure the infection could cause her to have breakthrough ovulation. Another of Cyndi’s friends who uses NuvaRing was the target of a practical joke. She was in the habit of removing her ring for sex because her guy is large and often pulls the ring out when he withdraws. While she was asleep after sex with her boyfriend a roommate dropped her ring into a pan of very hot water which quickly leached all the time-release hormones out of it and then returned it to her bedside, so when she reinserted her ring it was ineffective and she was w/o hormonal protection for a week before she found out what had happened (a friend told her) and unprotected for another week after she inserted a new ring while her hormonal protection was being reestablished. It caused her to have breakthrough bleeding and ovulate, but she took Plan B and dodged the pregnancy bullet.

A surprise: The security service that was supposed to be guarding the middle eastern dive-chick who had the back of her head blown off the other day [See my entry for January 11, 2010 ‘Cara gets her feet wet’] went to the house to search it professionally and sort through why their guys were taken so easily that they lost a client w/o even getting wounded. They found some scary things. One of their technicians looking behind pictures on the walls found a wall safe in the room that seemed to be used as an office. The safe was locked but the tech didn’t have any trouble opening it and found a quantity of Semtex plastic explosive, several packs of polyurethane male condoms, three prepaid cell phones, 2 packages of BBs and several photocopied sheets of instructions about how to make a vaginal (or rectal I suppose) bomb.

A cunt-cutter: The tech called that sort of device a vaginal torpedo or a cunt-cutter. It’s surprisingly simple to make. Roll a 2 inch diameter 5 inch long (smaller if to fit up the rectum) rod of Semtex in BBs, then roll a polyurethane condom onto the BB encrusted rod, insert a radio controlled detonator (a cell phone ringer) and insert in the vagina and wedge it behind the pubic bone so it won’t slide out. If made for the rectum a hollow butt plug can house the detonator. A girl wearing a cunt-cutter could get next to a male target and ask for oral and with his tongue licking her labia when she depressed the detonator her hips and her targets head would disappear in a wet and chunky pink mist. Awesomely destructive! I can’t imagine a woman crazy enough to wear one but apparently there are some. Security thinks someone suspected she was a suicide assassin and took her out before she could get to her target. Security wanted to her body, but there was nothing left of it by the time they asked so they are using DNA material from her shower, dildo and hair brushes. And I gave them the projectile fragments I picked up off the pool bottom. I don’t think it will be reported because their guards didn’t cover themselves with glory when they let her be killed, though as it turned out that was probably a good thing. In my and my employer’s defense, no one knew she was anything but a student, model wannabe and lastly a mess that needed cleaning up. Go figure!

Barre Girls: We have opened a small secluded lounge for dancers, called Barre Girls. It’s a place that women can get away from the pressure of the male gaze and men are welcome only when in the company of a member. It’s a niche market, but a lot of my friends have asked for a place for women only. Somewhere that they aren’t expected to drink alcohol since dancers don’t need the empty calories or the high if we have too much. We make a profit on tea and coffee and the area was created from a bit of strangely shaped floor space that was going unused. We hope to attract dancers from other casinos too as a sort of dance sorority hangout. It’s a great place to discuss menstrual cramps, contraceptive options and the pros and cons of recent boyfriends and husbands w/o worrying about being overheard by men.
