Thanksgiving house party planning 2016

A traditional U.S. Thanksgiving holiday meal

The Photo: A traditional U.S. Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, dressing and gravy, green beans cranberry’s and fruit

Best wishes to my U.S readers: I may be just a tiny bit late in wishing my readers in the U.S. a very happy and safe Thanksgiving as some are already traveling to be with family and friends for the holiday to feast and watch parades and football. Even so, I hope everyone has good weather, travels safely and has a great time! (((hugs))) to you all!

Thanksgiving in the UK and U.S.: In the UK Thanksgiving (as a harvest festival) is of ancient origin, but not an official holiday. It is traditionally held on or near the Sunday of the harvest moon that occurs closest to the autumnal equinox, which this year was September 18th. Thanksgiving is celebrated in the U.S. on the fourth Thursday in November which this year falls on the twenty-fourth. As I mentioned in a post last year the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday, complete with roast turkey, seems to have caught on in the UK, perhaps because everyone likes another holiday.

For those not steeped in U.S colonial history: Thanksgiving in the U.S. is celebrated to mark harvest at the first permanent English colony at Jamestown, Virginia in 1607.  Some would have us think that the first Thanksgiving was held in Massachusetts by the Mayflower Pilgrims who landed in 1620. However, the Mayflower landing was 13 years later than Jamestown.

House party Planning:  The Super Moon aside (more about that below) I’m looking forward to my Thanksgiving house party at Blackthorn Castle from the 24th through the 27th. This year I’m having a Thursday through Monday house party. With a good bit of prior planning dancer friends from the RB will be able to attend as will my wards, Bea, who will come down from Cambridge and two others, Bryony and Claire, from grad school at University College London. I’m pleased to say that they are all bringing boyfriends with them! Too, there will be the usual gentry from surrounding estates and the father and step-mother of Bryony who live in Kent. In all there will be sixteen guest couples which fill the recently fully modernized suites in the new (mid-18th century) wing of the castle.

I’ve approved the menus so we will be having the usual U.S. Thanksgiving holiday fare here at my ancestral home in Wales: roast turkey, stuffing, candied yams, mashed potatoes and gravy, string beans and pumpkin and mince pie. As well as (from my estate) roast tenderloin of wild boar, venison steaks and roast rack of lamb over the course of the several days. One has to limit the size of portions and train extra hard this time of year to prevent gaining weight from all the holidays and heavy meals. But its such fun to have a house full of young people for the Holiday! Cook had asparagus is on the menu; however, I struck it off as it contributes an unpleasant aroma to the urine and genital secretions which many find off-putting.

One can never be sure of the weather here as it comes off the North Atlantic and across the Irish Sea and dumps its moisture as rain in the Cumbrian mountains.  My place is about Latitude: 52°26′59″ N, but the warm ocean current (the Gulf Stream’s northern extension towards Europe, the North Atlantic Drift) moderates our climate so it is typically not as severe as a city at the same latitude in the U.S might expect. The current forecast is for cloudy but dry weather from the 24 – 28 November which would be lovely if that’s what actually happens! Then the men can go out boar and deer hunting while the girls and I take ballet and Pompoir classes, and gossip about boyfriends and fashion.

Sex Thanksgiving week: My cycle is on schedule and I became fertile on the 21st and should ovulate on the day after thanksgiving, the 25th, so there is no way I will be able to safely take my lover(s) totally unprotected during that time as I did on Halloween. I’ll probably wear a tiny silicone Oves cervical cap screwed down tight on my ripe cervix the entire week as Oves can be worn at any depth during dive-sex. The only drawback with Oves is that you can’t use most silicone lubes – other than the specially formulated DiveGel+ - with it which is needed for dive-sex.

The Super Moon in western Wales: The names of full moons in November are, for the Celts it was a Dark Moon and for the English a Hunter’s Moon. A full moon becomes a super moon when it passes very close to Earth on its obit, making it up to 14% bigger and 30% brighter than usual. The point in the obit of the moon at which it is closest to the Earth is known the perigee. This super moon was particularly large because it was the first time that the full moon has come this close to Earth since 1948. There will not be another super moon as big and bright as this one for 18 years until the next very close orbit in 2034.

Viewing the Super Moon in the Cambrian mountains of western Wales, November 14th – 16th was problematic. A Met Office spokesman said: “Monday evening and overnight Monday night is the best chance to spot it in Europe.” Although the sky will be cloudy, he said that there are likely to be cloud breaks in Eastern Scotland, North East England and East Wales. If you want to see the moon as it near the full moon stage, why not also go out and look at the sky tonight? The Met Office said that there could be cloud breaks in the same areas as Monday night, but also possibly in South East England for a while.

Unfortunately for western Wales viewers, it turned out that the Met office was correct. The Cambrian mountains of Western Wales was not a good location to view the Super Moon as there was solid heavy cloud cover where I was… Sigh!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Traditional Thanksgiving turkey

Thanksgiving 2011: For Thanksgiving day my guests will be 1) Cyndi & Chris, 2) Anya & Robin, 3) Shelly & Jeff, 4) Marie-Claude & Pirate, 5) Diané & Peter, 6) Adolph and Abi, 7) Cara and Tony (a friend of Anya’s), 8) Gigi and Jon (a gorgeous escort with amazing stamina and technique) 9) Aimée and Carl (her AST trainer), 10) Adèle, Aimée’s mom, and Tomas (her fave stallion from The Lorelei) and 11) Jacques & me.

Chefs from the casino have already set up to prepare the traditional turkey dinner and also barbecue in my commercial quality kitchen and the banquet table has been set with the heavy linen tablecloth, sterling, crystal and I’m using my Minton china this Year. The Pit, my 68 ft deep pool, as well as the three encounter pools will be available for guests wanting to enjoy dive-sex. And I have already reminded the women to wear their gas-guards since almost all the men love dive-sex. At these get-togethers there is a lot of partner swapping so the women end up with a lot of different male DNA left inside us.

Adolph has promised to be on his best behavior, which at times is none too good, but as a sociopath he can be incredibly charming even as he gets ready to cut his dive partner’s air hose so I’m hoping for the best. He is bringing a special and difficult to get ingredient for the gravy tomorrow which will be a treat for all concerned. It will be a day of sex and feasting and sex, and football on TV. The weather forecast is for a high of 67° F with a 10% chance of rain so it should be a great day for wearing latex body condoms if the men want to see us in them.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my readers!

Breath control in a FF-FFM

Desco FF-FFM non-return and air-control valve assembly detail

Breath control with a DESCO FF-FFM: Another thing to love about a DESCO free flow full face-mask is that with the air-control valve on the side of the mask the wearer’s air can be reduced or shut off for breath play during sex and if the woman is wearing inflated ball-gloves to keep her hands floating above her head out of the way she can’t operate the air-control valve herself. And of course that limits the wearer’s options since if she managed to get the mask off while submerged she would drown. I wrote ‘she’ because in my circle it’s almost always women who are having our air cut off, but guys, if you are into breath play for yourself, it works just as well for men as long as the mask seals well. Some bearded men may need to change their beard styles so the mask will seal properly.

I think we don’t see much breath play with a DESCO FF-FFM because it requires surface air supply equipment which is expensive to buy and maintain and isn’t portable so the locations are few and fixed, unlike when diving SCUBA where any pool location can be used. A Desco free flow mask is excellent for breath play because the location of the air-control valve makes it easily accessible while the woman is being taken in missionary. That’s a fave position for BP where her partner can watch as she gasps for air as her mask sucks tighter on her face, fills with CO2 and her eyes roll into the back of her head. It’s like having your head in a transparent rebreather bag and you keep breathing your on exhaled breath! Guys, when that happens it’s past time to turn her air back on. The image accompanying this entry shows the detail of the non-return and air-control valves and you can see the model’s hair getting tangled in the air-control valve. Long hair floating free during a photoshoot or an encounter looks erotic, but it can be a real nuisance to the woman who afterward often needs to cut her way out of the tangle.

Jacques ear blockages: The next morning I took him to the clinic. Our ENT specialist put Jacques on an antibiotic for an ear infection. I teased him that he’s fortunate he isn’t on hormonal birth control or we would have to use condoms! His specialist thinks his blockage should be cleared and he should be able to dive the pit in 4 or 5 days (just in time for a Thanksgiving day dive) though he wants him on Cipro for the entire 10 day regimen. Jacques thinks he got the ear problem when he flew over from Europe a few weeks ago and his ears never really cleared. With Las Vegas at an elevation of 2000 feet he said he felt a lot better here than in NYC at sea level. I’m hoping he is well enough by Thursday for me to take him to the bottom of the pit.

Thanksgiving Day: We will have the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade from NYC - delayed to start at 9:00 AM PST – and for the guys NFL football: Green Bay Vs Detroit on Fox and after that Oakland Vs Dallas on CBS so, other than the Macy’s parade, there will be an entire day of football for the guys. I’m having the meal prepared here in my commercial grade kitchen by chefs from the hotel who want the extra money from moonlighting on their time off, with two 15 lb turkeys rather than a single very large one as I think the very large ones can be tough, and, there are more legs and wings for those who like them. And there will be, sage dressing, gravy, asparagus, candied sweet potatoes fresh mince meat and pumpkin pies. For those wondering why I would serve asparagus at a get-together where sex is an important part of the occasion (the scent and taste of asparagus passes almost immediately into the urine) it’s because it’s a tradition. The guys know to avoid eating it if they expect to get head any time in the day or so afterward. Unless their partner eats it too, that way they both smell equally bad. Around the table there will be Taryn, Cyndi, Anya, Shelly, Marie-Claude, Diané and me. Then the guys: Chris, Chuck, Pirate and Robin, Peter and Jacques. I still need another man but my gatherings are fairly loosely structured so there may be last minute guests. Then there will be turkey sandwiches in the evening or a full plate with candied sweet potatoes, dressing, turkey etc for those who don’t have to watch their weight. One of the unanticipated advantages of lactating (other it being so much fun to breastfeed a man as foreplay) is that I can eat another 750 calories a day and not gain an ounce as the calories are consumed in producing my milk.
