Seren and the Blackthorn Summer Ballet Intensive

Bluebells, spring in the Cambrian Mountains

The Photo: It’s been a lovely spring and the fields of Bluebells in the Cambrian Mountains are gorgeous!

Tim’s cousin: Seren (the Welsh name for star) the daughter of Tim’s Father’s younger brother, his second cousin, is at Cambridge with Bea and unexpectedly came back to the castle with Bea for the Bank Holiday weekend. She is eighteen and becoming sexually active as she has been at Cambridge with Bea for the last year. She has been on COCs, estrogen/progestin birth control pills, and her stepmother - her father’s second wife (Iris) who was a ballet dancer - is concerned that she may have an unplanned pregnancy which even if she terminates it could harm her chances of marrying well.

No, before someone asks, she isn’t Seren Wilson the Welsh Glamour model who at thirty is almost twice Seren’s age. My Seren has a gorgeous hard Balanchine ballet body: big feet, long legs, short trunk, small breasts, long neck, small head and long natural red hair (hooray! Another redhead in my circle) and even before she begins her Pompoir training has a wonderfully strong pelvic grip. So physically in no way is my Seren like the large breasted glamour model Seren Wilson except they are both female. However, I’m sure that Seren Wilson is attractive in her way to men who like large breasts. It’s nice too that both Bea and Seren are eighteen so that there is no problem with the age of consent for sexual activity with whoever they are involved with during training.

Seren is a very popular Welsh girls name and in my wards case it goes back several hundred years in her family. I’m so pleased that Bea is such good friends with Seren as The Dryads (Bryony and Claire) are older and based in London and Odette and Odile went back to finish Uni in Las Vegas where they are in relationships with Castor and Pollux. Now that classes at Cambridge have ended (on June 10th) they will both be with me for the summer.

Through Tim Iris found out that I teach a Contemporary Sexual Health course and has asked that I take Seren’s pelvic training in hand. Ordinarily I wouldn’t have, but since she’s Tim’s family and Seren and Bea are close friends and since Seren can be with me for the summer I agreed to tutor her.  Fortunately Seren’s mother was a ballet dancer and Seren has taken ballet since she was four and pointe since she was eleven otherwise I wouldn’t have taken her as a pelvic student.  After the ballet intensive I plan to have Bea and Seren intern as Hostess at my London fetish club (Clever Cunts) this summer. To protect their identities they will wear full-face hoods when with club members and have no tats, piercing or scars they can be recognized by and since all the male members are required to have negative full STI panels they should be fine.  The British aristocracy has its problems, but the men know a tight vaginal grip when they feel it which is why so many of them marry ballet dancers, or have us as mistresses.

Seren has been having low libido and I suggested that she have a mini-GyneFix (4 bead) frameless copper IUD placed which would protect her for at least three years and allow her to cycle naturally so she can enjoy the swings in her natural hormones. Over the Bank Holiday Chris, the male Gyn from my London clinic, was here and when she agreed he had her hop up on the exam table numbed her cervix and implanted a mini-GyneFix in her fundus in less than 20 minutes.

Seren and the Blackthorn Summer Ballet Intensive: Returning readers may recall that my Ballet Intensive is being held at Blackthorn Castle the 13th century pile whose architectural heritage my predecessors and I are assuring remains safely ensconced in its ancestral terroir.

This year’s ballet intensive first mentioned in my post for May 6, 2016 has had a participant cancel. Fortunately for Seren her strong ballet background enables her to step in and fill that vacancy nicely. She has had all her vaccines as well as a full panel STI and pregnancy test. Though I’m making sure she is kitted out with Gaynor Minden hard shanked pointes for ‘play’ (ballet-sex classes) as well as her regular performance Bloch Axiom shoes. Not to mention the more intimate items like sports, plugs and suction base training dildos for pelvic training. Even with her strong ballet background and daily classes before she came to live with me she had increased her technique and pointe classes to prepare for the Summer Intensive. I think that shows determination a club hostess trainee needs given that she was still taking exams.

Nikolai: I’ve been fortunate to be able to get Nikolai a young (26 y/o) Russian male ballet star who is dancing with the company at the ROH for the 2015-16 season to be Ballet Master for my Blackthorn Summer Ballet intensive. This past year I have been his coach and social mentor. My job as his social mentor has been challenging as he has a tendency to go off the rails in social relationships and tends to impregnate young female corps members who nevertheless are still lining up to have him inseminate them thinking “it will never happen to me as I’m using protection” which is what all the others thought as well.

I think the reason he accepted was to get out of London for several weeks with a totally new field of young women with hard ballet bodies and tightly muscled vaginas. I hadn’t mentioned the possibility that Nikolai was to be Ballet Master. When they learn he will be teaching my students this summer I’m sure young ballet dancers in Europe and the Americas will fantasize about being in his arms as unprotected he thrust lustily deep into their vaginas while their local boyfriends are inseminating them. Going solo it is a fantasy with which any woman can easily masturbate to repeated orgasms. It’s also why I’ve insisted on all ballet intensive participants have GyneFix copper IUDs implanted as Nikolai is certain to inseminate all the students several times before the intensive is over.

Edith’s things, summer ballet intensive

Gaynor Minden pointes showing the internal platform pads

The Photo: GM Luxe satin pointes showing toe-box internal platform pads so important to protect against thrust-drop during ballet-sex

Summer ballet intensive: In talking about ballet-sex training Willow, Jack’s natural daughter and a former dancer with the Royal Ballet, said that her contemporaries in the professional dance world, outside of Vegas, know almost nothing about ballet-sex and how difficult it is for the woman to perform it properly without injuring herself.

This got me to thinking. I could offer a 2015 summer intensive for carefully screened ballet dancer Escorts (there are a few) and their PDD partners at the professional level that would specialize in preparing the women for ballet-sex. A class of six couples should be about the right size and provide enough variety between partners to make the class interesting when partners are exchanged.

As returning readers will recall ballet-sex is defined for purposes of this blog as penile-vaginal intercourse to reach orgasm preferably by both partners while the woman is en pointe a la seconde bending over holding on to a barre, bent over a table, chair back, desk, kitchen island or other suitable item.

There are so few ballet dancers who are into sex en pointe or Escorts who service ballet fetishists who want to take a woman while she is en pointe that there is a real lack of knowledge about how to do it safely w/o ruining your toes from thrust-drop. And for the man – though I suppose they have all heard stories of ‘snapping pussies’ – men say the sex is at a far more intense level as they experience how much tighter a woman‘s vagina is when she is balanced en pointe because all her muscles from her toes, ankles, calves, glutes and pelvic muscles are clenched and then when she orgasms her vaginal contractions tighten her grip even further. So the man who is penetrating her can sometimes be pushed out while his glans is being very quickly milked of his semen regardless of how well in control he thinks he is.

Ballet sex preparation: Toe protection is very important for women intending to participate in ballet-sex. That’s because the blocks of toe-shoes made of traditional materials; hessian, fabric, paste and leather will soften from the heat and perspiration of the woman’s feet in the time and from the effort of having ballet-sex. The toe-boxes will melt and deform leaving the toes w/o proper support. Additionally lambs wool and gel toe pads are by themselves insufficient to protect the toes against thrust-drop which almost always occurs during ballet-sex and can badly bruise toes.

Thrust-drop: Thrust-drop is what occurs when a large man penetrates a smaller woman from behind while she is standing on her toes in pointe-shoes and at the top of his thrust lifts her off the floor. The height she is lifted depends on the couple involved, but it can be from a fraction of an inch to three inches or more and when he quickly withdraws to thrust again she is dropped on the platforms of her pointes usually with her knees locked so the entire shock of the drop is absorbed by her toes resulting in painfully bruised and terrible looking nails.  Gaynor Minden pointes with polymer blocks and thick soft internal platform pads prevent the toe-boxes from melting and provide superior padding to minimize discomfort from thrust-drop so are the shoes that should be worn for stability and toe protection during ballet-sex along with regular toe taping and the use of toe pads of course.

Other aspects of ballet-sex that cry out for attention are:

  • Thrust angle adjustment to maximize thrusting of well endowed men into the anterior and posterior fornices.
  • Use of the Reflexions latex flat spring diaphragm as a glans stimulator during anterior fornix thrusting.
  • Use of performance enhancing meds for the boys to increase their stamina.
  • Use of enemas in prepping for ballet-sex with well endowed partners.
  • Ankle strengthening exercises to increase stability en pointe during the 20-30 minutes of an encounter.
Edith’s things: Emily, my Lady’s Maid, and I began going through my predecessor’s closets, dressers and trunks. Edith Sophia Sykes 22nd Baroness Blackthorn (1911-2014) was 103 when she died in an accident at her home in December.

Diaries and diaphragms: The most interesting things I’ve found so far are the volumes of her diaries one for each year of her life from the time she was 16.  There were trunks of old ballet costumes and a few pairs of her Freed pointe-shoes as well as old diaphragms she used from 1927 when she turned 16 and began dancing professionally. That was the year that she was fitted for her first contraceptive diaphragm. She had kept many of the old latex diaphragms she used and all from the late 20s through the late 50s in dark thick latex from Schmid (Ramses). They had dried and were very brittle or had already turned to dust. The Ortho All-Flex 70mm diaphragms she used from the early 60s were still in tact, but the domes had holes tears or thin spots in them. The last one was purchased in 1968 when she was 56 just before she probably became menopausal. I’m so looking forward to reading her diaries and finding what else she left of interest.

Pointe Porn

The erotic allure of sweaty Gaynors

Gaynors and Lust: In the comments section of my entry, ‘St Lucy’s Ballet intensive’ on May 28, a good friend and returning reader, Leigha, and I discussed the erotic allure of the dancewear clad body and of pointe shoes. There I wrote:

“I think a man’s interest in a woman in pontes has several components: The glove-like fit that lengthens the line of the leg and shows off the wearer’s arches and insteps. The Look of the ribbons wrapped tightly about slim ankles binding the wearers feet into her shoes (a bit of a bondage look there) and the scent of sweat dampened leather, cloth and paste of traditionally made shoes which alone for some of my partners is an aphrodisiac.”

However, for traditionally made pointes of leather cloth and paste the shoes take an often complicated process to break them in to mold them to the wearer’s feet. Over the life of a traditionally made shoe even with periodic re-hardening the blocks soften and the shanks come apart or break with wear so that after preparation and breaking them in a pair of shoes can die in as little as 15 minutes of performance time in some roles and then be useful only for class work at the barre.

Gaynor Minden shoes have blocks and shanks made of a very strong and heat sensitive elastomeric polymer and have built-in shock absorption by using advanced cellular urethane foam, PORON 4000 as an inner lining. This microporous polyurethane provides a durable high performance cushion that has excellent shock absorption properties. With its unique cell structure PORON 4000 circulates air and moisture vapor around the inside of the shoe while ensuring protection against the shock of pointework. To prolong the life of a pair of Gaynors I order mine with suede platforms because once the foam that covers the platforms begin to chip away and pits down to the polymer box the platforms become uneven and can be slick which could cause a fall.

I do find Gaynors a bit hotter to wear and since only the micro cell lining is absorbent the insides can get soggy if worn too long and does take them longer to dry after a long interval of use. But since once properly fitted a new pair requires no breaking in and they last at least three times as long as traditionally made shoes, in most cases and the shanks don’t break they are wonderful shoes, especially for demanding roles where the wearer is on her toes for long periods of time or for recreational use as when being penetrated from the rear while en pointe. This is where a Gaynor blocks internal padding is very useful because I can even wear them w/o toe-pads for rear entry pointe-sex when my feet have swollen. Then I can still be relatively comfortable when powerful thrusts lift me off my platforms only to be dropped back on my toes when he withdraws.

The scent of sweaty Gaynors: The scent of sweat dampened Gaynors is markedly different from the ‘Eau-de-Freed’ scent of damp fabric, leather and paste shoes. I think the scent of Gaynors damp with estrogenic sweat is something of an acquired taste. At least until a man can associate it with pointe-sex or some other erotic activity. The closest familiar odor I can compare it to is the scent of a recently removed silicone diaphragm or FemCap that still has the wearer’s vaginal secretions on it. Just as with cervical barriers the insides of Gaynor shoes really don’t have much of a odor themselves it’s the wearer’s fluids that give them their unique scent based on the pheromones in the woman’s perspiration which can be a powerful male aphrodisiac especially when the woman is fertile. In that sense I think Gaynors are sexier than traditionally made pointes because the woman’s pheromones aren’t masked by the odor of the damp fabric, leather and paste.

It’s not a scientific study of course, but I’ve noticed that I seem to attract more men for conversations when I’m wearing a pair of sweat dampened Gaynors than if I am wearing a damp pair of Freeds. The look of the shoes isn’t all that different except for the stitching around the edges of platforms and the lack of pleats which allows the block to be flatter and a cleaner vamp throat with no drawstring opening. A really nice thing about Gaynors is the side tie drawstring under the arch. That’s a very nice feature because there is no knot bump from the drawstring at the throat of the vamp which can sometimes be painful and it makes a lovely clean line of the throat of the shoe. I’m sure the guys who come on to me when I’m in Gaynors know the difference, but most men wouldn’t, they are just drawn to me by my curves and scent.

Ballet Intensive, Pt II - The Physical: Every prospective student who arrives for prep week gets a complete medical exam to ensure she can take the rigors of the course. A sports orthopod examines new bone density scans and does a hands-on exam of her feet, legs and back to ensure her skeleton can take the pounding of five weeks of intensive pointe classes and sex on her toes. A Gyn conducts a thorough pelvic to ensure there is no reason that she can’t safely enjoy penetrative sex and a cardiologist conducts stress tests to make certain her circulatory system can handle the exertion. In addition her endocrine system is checked to make sure her hormone levels are within normal limits.

We screen prospective students for IUDs well ahead of acceptance because we offer dive-sex as part of the Vegas ballet experience and as returning readers will remember a framed IUD can cause problems when a gas guard is used. Usually we are concerned if a student has an IUD inserted because most of the ones available in the U.S. (ParaGard and Mirena or their clones) have frames which can sometimes be bent by severe uterine cramps which can cause them to perforate the uterus or be expelled and the strings that protrude from the cervix can affect the seal of a gas guard and the gas guard can stick to the strings and pull the IUD out when removing the gas guard. The only IUD we allow a Ballet Intensive student to use is a GyneFix implant. We haven’t run into very many 17 and 18 y/os using IUDs and only one refused to switch to a GyneFix (if she was chosen) in order to stay in consideration for a seat in the course and was dropped from consideration.

Even when a student does well on all the physical tests there can be a major psychological shock because the girls are some of the most talented in the cities where they live and here they are being put in class with students their equal or better so we try to pair them with mentors where we can.

St Lucy’s Ballet intensive

Lybrel no-period pill pack showing click-case dispenser

Prep for Summer ballet intensive: We are doing things a bit differently this year for St Lucy’s Summer Ballet intensive. In the past we have had a 15% dropout rate for the course and we are trying to lower that this year by more selective screening and dietary changes or supplements begun well ahead of arrival. Even with tougher screening there are far more applicants that we can possibly take even running two classes of twelve students each. The limiting factor is finding male ballet partners who are experienced, considerate lovers and free of STIs. We use a lot of the younger male escorts with dance backgrounds who have gone through the course in the last year. The quarantine after STI screening limits their income but that isn’t as much disincentive as you might think because there is a lot of sex with 17 y/o hardbody ballet girls to be had for the five weeks of the course. Most of the guys love it because it’s a way to stay in shape while almost on vacation because the inexperienced girls are blown away by the guy’s stamina, the intensity of the orgasms they give and suck up the guys tales of life in Vegas. It borders on hero worship and is a huge boost to a male’s ego!

The Vegas Ballet Experience: There are a lot of summer ballet intensives being offered, many by far better known schools than St Lucy’s. However, we like to think St Lucy’s provides a unique opportunity for the adventuresome ballet student who wants to experience what dancing in Vegas can be like while protected from some of the rougher edges of the real world, such as hard drugs and STIs. Students are nominated by their teachers from ballet schools all over the US, Canada and Europe. They must be at least 17 y/o by the time they arrive in Vegas for class, must have been taking pointe at least three days a week for the last five years and have their parent’s permission to be sexually active. We assume if the student is seeing a medical practitioner for birth control the parents are aware and consent to sexual activity, but require the signature of the mother or guardian to make sure there are no misunderstandings since Vegas is not Disneyland and accidents can happen.

Screening: Once a student is nominated the screening process begins. One of the common problems we are trying to address by screening is annoying side effects from hormonal contraceptives. Decreased libido, difficulty becoming aroused, vaginal dryness, breast tenderness and irregular bleeding can all be caused by birth control hormones. We have found that hormonal birth control causes a deficiency in vitamin B and additionally many women on hormones are also deficient in vitamins C and D so we start a candidate for a place in our ballet intensive on a special multivitamin at least two months before she arrives for her prep week.

We also want a candidate to have been on her hormonal method for at least six months. That’s because it can take that long for a woman’s body to get used to the hormones in her pills, especially breast swelling and tenderness and irregular bleeding from extended cycle pills. Imagine trying to partner with a man when your boobs are so sore that you can’t stand to wear a bra much less have a man hold and lift you where your breasts get jostled around and mashed in his embrace. Or in rehearsal or in performance and you start to bleed not just spotting, but heavily enough to soak thorough your tights or tutu! Believe me when I say that’s embarrassing, horribly distracting and it gets the costumer very upset as well since it’s nearly impossible to get blood out of a tutu, though it is possible to dye it to mask the stain.

Additionally we try to select otherwise qualified candidates who seem to thrive on birth control hormones, that is they have increased libido no irregular bleeding and are aroused easily while taking their pills correctly. There are some of those just as there are some women who can’t tolerate hormonal contraceptives of any kind. During prep week we administer an entrance exam that tests a students strength and stamina en pointe not only as a minimum entrance requirement, but also as a baseline for comparison for students we accept into the course to be compared with a final exam at the end of her five weeks of Vegas ballet training.

Pregnancy testing: The first thing we have a candidate do when she arrives is to test for pregnancy. If she tests positive she needs to make a choice as to how she wants to proceed. We do not allow pregnant women in the intensive, however there is time to terminate by means of a menstrual extraction and still participate in the course. We have only had that happen once and the student elected to have the ME and stay for the course. She did exceptionally well. Testing for pregnancy is done daily for the student’s safety as extremely intense sexual intercourse can cause a miscarriage and nausea during dive-sex can be fatal and dive-sex is part of the course. When detected a pregnancy can be terminated by ME and the student can continue the course while wearing a gas guard and on an antibiotic and 600 mg of ibuprofen every eight hours for a few days while her uterus recovers. Then after the course of antibiotics she can rely on her Reflexions or FemCap and spermicide for contraception while her hormonal protection is being reestablished. With students on hormonal contraceptives we have had one or two pregnancies terminated every summer for the last several years and no students have dropped out due to pregnancy related issues.

Hormonal birth control: St Lucy’s girls participating in the summer intensive have GyneFix IUDs implanted. For other students we won’t accept girls using Depo-Provera injections (given every 12 weeks) because we have found that women on Depo do not do well in the course and have weight and stamina issues. Neither will we take women if the are using NuvaRing because there is too great a risk of the ring slipping out and the student losing her hormonal protection or the ring interfering with the seal of the students gas guard. We ask students to bring their birth control pills with them and bring at least one extra pack in case something happens and the open pack is lost or becomes contaminated - think dropping it in the toilet. Most of the students seem to be using extended cycle (greater that 28 days w/o a period) pills like Lybrel or Seasonique With Lybrel once adjusted to the hormones a woman can go for a year w/o a period and on Seasonique she can go 84 days before taking the placebos to get her pill period. This year we have two French girls enrolled who are on Qlaira (a 28 day cycle pill) and they are experiencing amenorrhea (not having periods) when they take the inactive pills. Some amenorrhea is experienced by at least 15% of Qlaira users so these girls are thinking themselves fortunate. Though, with all the sexual axtivity they will be experencing if it were me I’d feel more confident getting my period on a regular basis. Of course with testing daily they will know as soon as possible if there has been a pill failure.

Pointe shoes: All major makers’ stock shoes can be purchased locally at the St Lucy’s school discount. If the student wears special make up (SMU) pointes we ask her to bring along at least eighteen pairs of pointe shoes for pointe and technique classes and performances because students typically go through three pairs a week and if she needs more the lead time for SMU shoes is too long for them to be any use for the course. Once the candidate passes the stamina test we fit her with both a FemCap and Reflexions flat spring diaphragm as gas guards for protection during dive sex and with Gaynor Minden pointes for pointe sex classes as Gaynors are far more comfortable and provide more support for sex en pointe than traditionally made shoes.

An unfortunate accident

Hemorrhage during cunnilingus:

A slight problem: One of the Summer Ballet Intensive girls had a bit of a problem the other night she hemorrhaged during cunnilingus. Actually, her guy sucking on her vulva caused her to orgasm and she had a spontaneous abortion, a miscarriage. She is on Yaz, a very popular very low dose oral contraceptive and claims she has been taking her pills on time. She lost a lot of blood before the docs in the ER managed to get it stopped. Her partner apparently swallowed the fetal tissue that she expelled, thinking it was just chewy blood clots. He is a UNLV grad student in psychology doing research with us for the summer and loves menstrual sex so he actually enjoyed the first few mouthfuls of blood before he realized something was seriously wrong. The ER doctors did an ultrasound then an electric vacuum aspiration, an EVA like I have each time I’m CD1, to completely remove her endometrium and reset her cycle. She is in the hospital now just for observation and should be released later today. She, along with several other students had been fitted for a Penetrator plug yesterday and the vaginal vacuum during fittings can be quite strong at times especially when the woman is learning how to remove it. So a strong vacuum event like that might have started the fetus tearing away from her uterine wall. She was very newly pregnant and hasn’t asked what happened to the expelled tissue. In a very strenuous training regimen like the intensive her condition was sure to be found out but I’m sorry that it happened in such a public way.

In Denial: Her partner just thinks she spontaneously hemorrhaged, which she did, and if he suspects otherwise he isn’t asking any questions. I really don’t want to tell him he ate her hometown boyfriend’s baby. He may have enough trouble going over the events with his therapist as it is. I’m thinking she should be back in class on Monday. She doesn’t seem to be psychologically the worse for her experience and she is looking forward to resuming training and being with her summer boyfriend. Of course since her cervix was dilated for the EVA she won’t be able to wear a FemCap but she will need to wear her All-Flex diaphragm for at least the next few days to collect any residual bleeding. She stopped taking her pills in the hospital so she will have to restart. She told me this morning that she had had a sinus infection 4 weeks ago for which she was prescribed 10 days of doxycycline, so I’m thinking that is why her pill failed. We have had several instances over the years where antibiotics have reduced the effectiveness of our student’s hormonal contraceptives and doxycycline is one of the antibiotics that have that effect. If ABs are given at St Lucy’s or at our clinic to women on hormonal contraceptives we always recommend that they use a barrier for the time they are taking their AB and for at least a week and sometimes two (depending on the antibiotic) after taking the last dose while their hormonal protection is restored.
