A latex Reflexions flat spring diaphragm

The photo: One of my 80mm Reflexions diaphragms. It is made of natural rubber latex and is the style that when worn by a woman when she died during sexual intercourse becomes (for my purposes) a ‘Death Rubber’ diaphragm containing special powers that supplement my sexuality. I know I use photos of Reflexions a lot, but I can’t stress enough how desirable they are for contraceptive and dive-sex safety and for their strong appeal to latex fetishists.

My Death Rubber collection:  For readers who are new to my blog a ‘death rubber’ is a diaphragm, especially a latex one, which was being worn by a woman when she died while having penetrative intercourse. Until my last post (Dating Gigi on May 2, 2015) I hadn’t written about harvesting one for about five months - in my entry for November 21, 2014 - when I harvested one from a Las Vegas Towel Girl at Splash. As this is written it has been eleven months since I added to my collection so readers can understand how difficult it is to obtain a Death Rubber under ideal conditions, meaning that I harvested it myself.

During an orgy in Vegas years ago I found that wearing a latex diaphragm I harvested from the vagina of an elite rubber fetish escort – one I watched die while being fucked at the bottom of a training pool for rubber fetishists - gave me access to the residual Chi contained in the diaphragm that had been protecting her cervix. • And now the Reflexions is no longer being made. However, latex flat spring diaphragms can be custom made for those of us who need them.

Too there is the usual down side to a latex device:

• Some people are allergic to latex.
• The useful life is much shorter than a silicone diaphragm.
• The odor from a latex device worn too long can be very strong, however, that could be a plus if you are with a man who is into funky vaginal scents.

The good news about a latex flat spring device is:

• The heat transfer properties are far superior to silicone.
• A latex device can be safely used with silicone lubes necessary for proper vaginal lubrication during underwater sex.
• A great safety feature of a flat spring rim diaphragm is that since it folds in a single plane it is almost impossible for a mischievous partner to under-thrust the rim of one that is properly sized and correctly placed.                         

Fortunately as with my former position in Vegas I have access to the medical records of the Escort service run by Tanaquil for Taryn’s European operation so I know who wears 80mm latex diaphragms (mainly for male clients with latex fetishes) or for under-thrust ‘flood insurance’ during dive-sex. It so happens these are the women who are the greatest risk takers so are the ones most likely to have a fatal accident during an encounter with a commercial client or during filming porn videos. I think the risk is part of my fascination with asphyxia sexual highs while having SCUBA sex because there is so little margin for error. It certainly is a huge thrill and marvelous high for me!

A more recent and serious ‘Death Rubber’ limitation briefly mentioned above is that the Reflexions FS diaphragm was discontinued at the first of 2015. Fortunately the Clinic had received a routine stocking order of the Reflexions so we should be able to provide them to patients for the next few months as they are how only used by up-market fetish escort clients. Also, we are able to have latex FS diaphragms custom made, but at higher cost. The fall-back position is to use 80mm silicone Milex diaphragms as death rubber devices, but the flat spring rim was ideal in providing women and especially fetish escorts with superior under-thrust protection and I suspect those of us in the profession will go to the custom made latex flat spring as for us there really is nothing as good.

Currently my collection consists of six 80mm latex Reflexions diaphragms that I have personally harvested from the vaginas of their previous owners. I try to take good care of them as they all contain their former owners sexual exploits that reside in the portion of her Chi still contained in the diaphragm which supplement my own sexual knowledge and experiences when I wear them and each is unique and irreplaceable in that way.

My latest harvesting acquisition: This is the second ‘death rubber’ I’ve harvested since I moved to the UK in January of 2015. The most recent was a French twenty-something ballerina on holiday with her English lover who was at a fetish swim party at a country house in Berkshire which I attended last weekend. I knew her as a candidate on my list of possible Death Rubber donors as she was quite tall at 5’8” for a ballet dancer. The audio from their comm. link was on the speakers in the pool area so we could hear them talk to each other and both of them gasp and moan from their sexual exertions. She was facing the pool bottom as he entered her from the rear and she grunted, mewed, gasped and moaned as he pushed his way inside her and she adjusted her hips to take his length and thrusts.  He was holding on to her hips and had given her several vaginal orgasms when she began to quiver, gasp and begin to gag and she doubled over possibly to try to unfasten the ankle leash or perhaps from cramps, but her partner kept thrusting into her trying to reach orgasm himself before he withdrew. 

After he came he pulled out, but by that time she was limp and not breathing and I and several other divers had jumped in to help pull her out. I unfastened the ankle leash, a man lifted her tank off the bottom and her partner raised her to the surface. After we got her on the pool surround we tried CPR, but she had apparently drowned in her own vomit.  While straightening her thong and covering her with a blanket to await an ambulance I pulled out the 80mm Reflexions she was wearing still slippery with her lover’s thick creamy semen that hadn’t had a chance to liquefy and slipped it down my cleavage.

She had the results of a serum pregnancy test in her purse that showed she was about eight weeks pregnant so that may have been why she became nauseated though there were two other women at the party who came down with food poisoning so perhaps it was that.

If the woman’s cycle is regular (stable) charting fertile signs this way can be very effectively used to increase the likelihood of pregnancy or to know when protection should be used, or the couple abstain, during the fertile interval if trying to avoid conceiving.

The candidate’s cycles: the seven candidates cycles are all between 28 and 32 days in length, are relatively stable and they haven’t been together long enough to have developed any menstrual synchrony. From the beginning of the eight week course two have just experienced ovulation spotting, one is newly fertile and one has just started her menses. The other three are luteal.

Ovulation pain and spotting:  “Who Has Painful Ovulation? Many women never experience painful ovulation. Some women, however, have mid-cycle pain every month and can determine by the pain that they are ovulating.”

In my case I have a twinge of pain for a few minutes on the side on which the follicle ruptures to release the egg and a few hours later a little blood colors my fertile cervical mucus pink.

The seven PA candidates as flowers:  My current group of Personal Assistant candidates I’ll refer to as: Cinnamon, Fern, Heather, Holly, Iris, Ivy and Jasmine and their male partners as: Doc, Dopy, Sleepy, Happy, Grumpy, Sneezy and Bashful if I need to be specific.

Kitting out the flowers and dwarfs: Carla, my Divemaster, is taking them through qualifying (or requalifying in two instances) for their Open Water SCUBA certification needed to be able to perform dive-sex in pools in the Americas, the UK, and Europe. Taryn’s new startup is springing for their kitting out. Startup costs are high, but her core business, porn, is extremely profitable so the front end costs aren’t a concern. The girls and their partners are only responsible for their swimsuits; side-tie thong bikinis for the girls and Speedo slingshots for the guys. And I fit the girls with my clinics latex flat spring diaphragms for flood insurance which allows them to use DiveGel+ which is a silicone base combination lube, spermicide and biocide protecting the girls from the likelihood of a yeast infection from having so many male partners. I’m very pleased to say that the latex FS diaphragms in all seven trainees develop very strong suction in the domes indicating a superior fit especially after expressing the remaining air from the dome with the fingers.  

Carla had a rep from the Aberdeen dive shop where she had worked bring a van full of gear and fit them all (women and men) with an OTS Guardian FFM and they tried them out wearing BCs and 80 cu ft HP steel tanks in the shallow (64 ft deep) well just to get them acclimated to the energy and the amount of air expended (you tend to forget about air conservation techniques during orgasm) during dive-sex. They were on regular air rather than Enriched Air Nitrox with 32% oxygen (EAN32) which I use if I’m bottom diving the shallow well or in the deeper one. The net was strung across the well at 30 feet to prevent a diver in an uncontrolled descent from sinking to the bottom. During training the candidates are tethered to the net with an ankle leash which keeps them about fifteen feet below the surface during an encounter. Anya and I already had our FFMs, BCs and pool-pointes in the gear room in the wells ladies’ dressing room. Returning readers may recall that pool-pointes are silicone rubber pointe shoes with nylon ribbons and threaded female connectors on the platforms of the shoes to take male threaded weights that will hold the wearer on the bottom or guarantee the wearer stays in the vertical position in the water because of the weighted footwear.

The female condom and dive-sex: As I mentioned above latex flat spring diaphragms can be used for ‘flood insurance’ along with silicone base DiveGel+ as a lubricant that isn’t quickly washed away during dive-sex. However, the silicone in DiveGel gets in a partner’s mouth during cunilingus. Since the dwarfs will be licking and sucking the flowers vulvas during surface sex for dive-sex training the girls will dive wearing only the FC2 nitrile female condoms - which have silicone lube preapplied in the sheath - for training purposes since they will be having a lot of underwater penile-vaginal intercourse, PVI.  And, since they don’t need the FC2 for contraception they can reuse them, but only for multiple acts during the same training session encounter.   

Do not try this at home! The FC2 FAQs say the inner ring of an FC2 will interfere with the rim of a diaphragm during contraceptive use and that is a real possibility. The Flowers have GyneFix copper IUDs implanted for contraception and shouldn’t need flood insurance, in case a partner accidently inserts outside the sheath in the rush to reinsert after slipping out, while training with a professional male escort.

However, in my case I feel I need a FS latex diaphragm because of the high frequency of my encounters and training nonprofessionals. I’ve been testing wearing an FC2 in addition to a flat spring latex diaphragm while luteal and have found in my case using an FC2 should not affect the seal when I am using them together for training purposes. That’s because I wear an 80mm diaphragm and the 68mm closed end ring will nest inside the rim on the convex side of my latex diaphragm when air has been expressed from the dome so it develops very strong seal. That way the smaller inner ring of the FC2 will slide over the collapsed dome of the larger diaphragm and shouldn’t affect the seal.

Any wear on the dome of the diaphragm is checked after every encounter and spare diaphragms are available for immediate replacement if necessary. I have been double bagging this way several times a day for several days while diving the well and so far there is no sign of wear on any of the latex diaphragm. The FC2 is about 7.2 inches long the inner ring is 67mm in diameter and it has silicone lubricant already applied in the sheath. When used w/o a diaphragm a very long man penetrating a very deep woman thrusting his glans into her anterior or posterior fornix could force the outer ring into the vagina, but this is unlikely for the average user. However, since the male partners are very well endowed and the Flowers all have long vaginas the men wear a double cock ring to prevent forcing the outer ring of the FC2 into their partner’s vagina during training. Dive-sex and Hyperventilation: Hyperventilation is where air is only partially exhaled leaving CO2 in the lungs and little room for fresh air. That makes the diver feel she can’t breathe and try to increase her respiration rate with shallow breaths which only makes the situation worse. Hyperventilation can come from over exertion or stress which increases the breath rate w/o fully emptying the lungs. To prevent that a diver should try to hold her breath rate relatively steady and fully exhale to rid her lungs of the CO2 and needed oxygen can get to her lungs. While having sex using SCUBA gear hyperventilation is a fairly common problem if divers are not taught to control their breathing and fully exhale. When approaching and during orgasm are the most common times when couples new to dive-sex experience hyperventilation.

Equalization difficulties: Two of the trainees have problems equalizing when diving so are on a generic of the Sudafed decongestant. “Pseudoephedrine, a key ingredient in Sudafed(r), is a commonly used decongestant by divers. A recent study* highlighted its effectiveness. The study compared pseudoephedrine to a placebo in its ability to prevent middle ear squeeze in novice divers. It concluded that a 60-milligram dose of pseudoephedrine administered 30 minutes before the dive was effective. This study was conducted to a depth of 40 feet / 12 meters, with objective data gathered only through otologic (ear) exams. Christmas at Blackthorn Castle

Christmas at the castle: Christmas day dawned cold with temps in the high 30s (F) with heavy rain almost all day. Fortunately none of us had to go outside unless we wanted to. We have a lovely fifteen foot spruce as a Christmas tree decorated with ornaments handed down from earlier holders of the title augmented down through the years. The lights are new, but the rest is very traditional. Presents were exchanged before breakfast. Though there are no children present Bea at eighteen the youngest girl present seemed almost as excited as I remember being when I was six, the Christmas before my mother died. This year I got lingerie (The giver looks forward to watching me take it off or ripping it off me himself.), perfume and gift certificates to Freed and Gaynor Minden as well as a lovely amethyst (my birthstone) necklace. Marvin gave me a special gift I had been looking for seemingly for ages, but hadn’t been able to find. I’m going to write about that in a separate post.

For the most part I gave practical token but useful fun gifts; razors (beard burn on breasts can be very annoying), condoms and Viagra for the men and Caya diaphragms, spermicide, EllaOne, remote controlled vibis (by Lelo) to be worn in the vagina and toe pads for the women. Caya should be appreciated by men too because the matte textured dome stimulates the glans remarkably and the removal dome can be used by a lover to stimulate the wearer’s G-spot. When I lived in Las Vegas and my wards lived with me they were in menstrual synchrony with me because we sweated so much together that their bodies synched to my pheromones. Now that we live apart Bea and Willow cycle on their own while the Dryads, Bryony and Claire are beginning to sync with my 28 day cycle. Christmas day I was CD14 and ovulated while the Dryads were about CD9 and fertile. Bea and Willow were CD 20 something and luteal.

A first dip in The Wells: The women all followed me down to the shallowest (64 ft.) of the wells. We inserted our latex flat spring diaphragms, used as flood insurance, in case men joined us and wanted dive-sex. But none did as they were glued to the telly binge watching one sport program after another. I had Carla hang a net at 30 feet in the shallow pool as a precaution so if there was an uncontrolled descent the diver wouldn’t fall to the bottom.  

We wore thong bikinis, flippers and swim caps to keep the chemicals out of our hair. Carla checked the fit of our OTS Guardian FFMs and buoyancy compensators with integral weight pockets. She has checked that all the masks were in good repair before we got to the equipment room Willow, Bea and my Guardians have gotten a lot of use but Bryony and Claire just got theirs so they are still getting used to wearing them. One of the nice things is that we can all talk to one another on the comm. units while underwater and we can all hear each other scream, moan, whimper and gasp in orgasm.

Pool temperatures: For Olympic swimming, the Red Cross and FINA (The international governing body of swimming, diving, water polo, synchronized swimming and open water diving), have set the water temperature for competitive swimming between 77° to 82° F (25°-28°C), and 81°F (27°C) for synchronized swimming. Warmer water is less dense and therefore less friction as a swimmers body moves through it. Standard water temperatures ensure that all performances are on a level state of conditions. I have my pools temperatures set at 79° (F) and that is very comfortable. 

Christmas dinner: Dinner on Christmas day for my wards, their boyfriends, Carla my 29 y/o Divemaster and her diver boyfriend, Chris my male Gyn and a ballerina girlfriend and Marvin and I went extremely well. The menu was a typical Christmas feast with turkey and crown rack of spring lamb (for which the castle kitchen is famous) stuffing, mashed potatoes, giblet gravy, candid yams, mince pie and ice cream, coffee and hot or ice tea. And Christmas Crackers in which were small favors for each guest.

Sloe Brandy: After dinner the Barony’s famous (or perhaps a better term is infamous) Sloe brandy was served. It is distilled, aged and bottled at the castle from the fruit of the ubiquitous blackthorn bushes used to hedge fields and roads on the Barony. The fruit, called a "sloe", is a drupe 10–12 millimeters (0.39–0.47 in) in diameter, black with a purple-blue waxy bloom, ripening in autumn, and harvested—traditionally, at least in the UK, in October or November after the first frosts.

Charades: After dinner had settled we played a game of charades using the huge wardrobe of costumes and props that had been accumulated by Edith my predecessor. The subject for the evening was film stars from the 50s to present. The Brits seem to love dressing up especially the men who love mincing about in high heels and womens clothes. I think that must be from the sexually repressive upbringing of all-male schools, corporal punishment and cold showers that warp their sexuality. Fortunately some of them make lovely women (until you get their clothes off) so they can be great fun to play charades with!

I thought standouts in men’s roles were: Marvin who did a marvelous impression of Cary Grant “Judy, Judy, Judy”, and Chris who made an amazing Clark Gable, “Frankly Scarlet, I don’t give a damn.” Go figure!

Among characters from dance films I portrayed during the evening - with the help of Emily, my dresser, who got me in and out of costume and makeup quickly with her skill as a studio costumer and makeup expert - I became: ‘Olympia’ the Moira Shearer role as a mechanical doll that comes to life in The Tales of Hoffmann (1951); the Cyd Charisse role of ‘The Widow’ dressed in black tights, black pointes, black elbow length gloves and a black bustier with circular white breast accent in  the film Black Tights (1961); and The Natalie Portman role as ‘Nina Sayers’ costumed as the Swan Queen in Black Swan (2010). What fun!
