The “death rubber” diaphragm: Returning readers may recall my post on April 25, 2016 entitled Death Rubber Diary in which I recorded the acquisition of my latest “death rubber” contraceptive diaphragm. It has been almost eleven months since I added to my collection. Since I wear them as often as possible I’m always on the lookout for replacements as after a few months the older ones begin to develops thin spots, pin holes and cracks around the rim from heavy use.

For readers who are new to my blog a ‘death rubber’ diaphragm, especially a latex one, is one that was being worn by a woman when she died while having penetrative intercourse. So, readers can understand how difficult it can be obtaining a death rubber diaphragm under ideal conditions, meaning that I am able to harvest it myself.

Too there is the usual down side to a latex device:

•           Some people are allergic to latex.

•           The useful life is much shorter than a silicone diaphragm.

•           The odor from a latex device worn too long (usually more than 24 hours) can be very strong, however, that can be a plus if you are with a man who is into funky vaginal scents.

The good news about a latex flat spring device is:

•           The heat transfer properties are far superior to silicone.

•           A latex device can be safely used with silicone lubes necessary for proper vaginal lubrication during underwater sex.

•           A wonderful safety feature of a flat spring rim diaphragm is that since it folds in a single plane it is almost impossible for even the most mischievous partner to under-thrust the rim of one that is properly sized and correctly placed.                         

Until a few days ago, my collection was down to three (down from six when I last wrote about them) all 80mm latex diaphragms that I have personally harvested from the vaginas of their previous owners. I try to take good care of them since (as I mentioned above) they all contain their former owner’s sexual exploits that reside in the portion of her Chi still contained in the diaphragm which supplement my own sexual knowledge and experiences when I wear them and each is unique and irreplaceable in that way.

My latest harvesting acquisition: This is the third ‘death rubber’ I’ve harvested since I moved to the UK in January of 2015. Getting the most from your diaphragm

Repetition: I know I’ve covered this before, but I’m being repeatedly asked about how to get the most from the few styles of contraceptive diaphragms that are still available.

The Photo: The Caya contoured diaphragm was designed to fit women who take the four most often prescribed sizes of traditional diaphragms; 65mm, 70, 75, and 80mm. Caya has a polymer rim spring so there is no worry about wearing it through metal detectors at airports and the slightly matte outer surface of the cervix cup increases a partner’s sensation rubbing against the glans of his thrusting penis. The six bumps on the right side of the rim are grip dimples. There is an identical set on the other side that make gripping and compressing a slippery rim for insertion much easier than the smooth rim of a traditional diaphragm. The dome on the right is the removal dome into which the wearer inserts a finger to break the seal and pull it out.

Disadvantages of the Caya: Women with vaginas smaller than 65mm and larger than 80mm cannot safely wear it. The heat transfer properties of silicone are not as good as latex and in larger vaginas the relief arch tends to rotate a few degrees one way or the other. If rotation is too great the Caya rim can be under-thrust which the relief arch was designed to prevent. Since I am at the upper design limit for the Caya I’m reluctant to wear it for “flood insurance” during underwater sex.

The Photo: The last of the traditional diaphragms still commercially available Milex comes in two rim styles, Arcing and Omniflex (coil spring) rim. It is available in eight diameter sizes, from 60 to 95mm, in 5mm increments. The wide seal flange on the inside of the rim provides a larger surface to seal against the vaginal walls. The two cut-outs in the wide seal indicate where the fingers should be placed to compress the arcing rim for insertion. While the Omniflex (coil spring) rim has the same cutouts the Omniflex can be compressed at any two opposite points on the rim for insertion. The dark round spot in the inside center of the dome is the extrusion nub.

Properly cared for a Milex diaphragm will last several times longer than a latex diaphragm. However, it is still susceptible to deterioration from oils of all kinds as well as silicone lubricants. The stiff silicone dome has much poorer heat transfer properties than does the dome of a latex diaphragm.

A major advantage of the latex flat spring over the Caya is that when correctly fitted and properly inserted it is almost impossible for even a mischievous partner to intentionally under-thrust the rim. Other advantages are that silicone lubes can be safely used with a latex diaphragm and the heat transfer properties of the translucent stretchy latex dome are far superior to silicone diaphragms. Another advantage that isn’t generally talked about is that for women with partners who are able to thrust into their anterior fornix a flat spring rim, since it only bends in the plane of the rim, will retain its shape and allow the latex dome to be stretched tight over the tip of the cervix and deep into the anterior fornix. This puts upward pressure on the cervix and therefore the uterus pushing it a few millimeters deeper which makes the bottom of the fornix that much deeper as well.  This cannot be duplicated with Milex and Caya diaphragms because the Milex rims (arcing and coil spring) bend in two planes and the Caya cervix cup is too deep to allow the cervix to be pushed upward by a penis thrusting into the anterior fornix. Another advantage of a Reflexions latex diaphragm is that the raised triangle (with the size of the device in millimeters in its center) on the outside center of the dome can stimulate the glans of a thrusting penis long enough to reach it.

Disadvantages of latex diaphragms: The latex can be easily damaged by oils of all kinds in lubes, vaginal meds and even by perfume on the fingers during insertion. Even when properly cared for a well-used (3+ times a week) latex diaphragm should be replaced every year. The rim of a Reflexions is stiffer to compress and hold (when slippery) for insertion than the Caya and a latex device will develop an odor quicker than a silicone one because the surface of the latex is porous to a small extent.  The odor   developing quicker is seen by scent fetishes as a plus.

However, the main problem with latex diaphragms is that they are no longer commercially available.  I’m fortunate to still have several new Reflexions that I haven’t broken the seals on the boxes, so I should be fine for a while longer. Currently only at Gyn practices specializing in cervical barriers can women be fitted for latex diaphragms custom made with coil, arcing or flat spring rims.

Expressing a diaphragm: For the best protection, a diaphragm should develop a strong seal (suction) in the dome. This seal depends on the flexibility of the vaginal walls with no major irregularities to grip a properly sized and correctly placed rim. A diaphragm with poor suction can be used fairly effectively with plenty of spermicide in the dome, but not as effectively as with strong suction. There is nothing more satisfying to me, from a safety perspective, than to feel the strong suction tug as I break the seal to remove my diaphragm at least six hours after the last act of intercourse (to make sure all his little swimmers are dead) from a long session of love making.

To get the strongest suction possible a wearer should express the air out of the dome or cervical cup with her fingers. Where the most air will accumulate under the dome is in the anterior fornix. The wider the anterior fornix the more air is trapped. Because of the smaller cervix cup there is less air to express from a Caya than a conventional diaphragm dome. Some women can press down and lower the cervix enough that the wearer can express all the air from her anterior fornix with her fingers. But when using fingers there is the possibility of cutting or tearing the dome with a fingernail. Others find it helpful to use a small dildo or the rounded handle of a table knife to force the dome into the anterior fornix to completely evacuate the air. It’s especially important if the wearer is using a diaphragm as “flood insurance” during dive-sex so the hydraulics of a partner’s thrusts will not force water into the wearer’s uterus.

A successful Summer Ballet Intensive: Now my Summer Ballet Intensive has come to the end of its third and final week at Blackthorn Castle. This morning the students all boarded ‘The Dragon’, my personal rail cars, for the trip to London St Pancreas on their way back to their homes.

Semina as a training diaphragm: Returning readers will recall that in my May 6, 2016 post about the requirements for students at the 2016 Blackthorn Ballet Summer Intensive I wrote about the desirability of Semina as a starter cervical barrier for teens: 

“A sexually active barrier-girl should never be without her diaphragm and the Seminas pink transparent silicone rubber, which some wearer’s have compared to a pink soap bubble, has proved very attractive when used as a young woman’s first experience with cervical barriers. The use of a Semina began as an alternative for teens that were too small for an IUD and couldn’t use hormonal contraceptives. However, when it was found that they could also be effectively used for cervix protection (flood insurance) during under water penetrative sex even the girls on hormonal birth control wanted to be fitted for a Semina. IUDs and cervical barriers are only compatible when the IUD strings are trimmed off so they don’t stick to a cervical barrier worn for ‘flood insurance’ during underwater penetrative vaginal sex which is one of the more arcane subjects on the syllabus during the Blackthorn Ballet Summer Intensive. The introducer shown in the photo is used to simplify insertion especially for women with short fingers. Unfortunately, introducers are no longer generally available, but it is easy to learn the proper insertion technique. Should BBSI students progress to become “socially available” for underwater penetrative sex they can switch to a latex flat spring diaphragm similar to the Reflexions of blessed memory which can be custom made. While some few people are allergic to latex and natural rubber latex does not last as long as silicone the advantages are considerable as the heat transfer and the elastic properties of the translucent dome membrane are far superior to silicone and for a partner interested in the strong scent of a diaphragm left inserted for more than twenty-four hours’ latex is the preferred material as the scent can be eye-watering. Additionally, the flat spring rim which only folds in a single plane makes it very desirable as ‘flood insurance’ because it’s nearly impossible for even a mischievous lover to intentionally under-thrust the rim. Latex flat spring diaphragms are still the barrier type preferred by elite level Courtesans and Escorts and now are only available through specialist GYNs by special order.

Student injuries: We have been fortunate to have no serious injuries just the normal things like split and bruised nails, not that they aren’t painful. There have been no problems with GyneFix IUDs or Semina diaphragms during after class social activities including surface and underwater sexual encounters. And there have been no pregnancies the insemination for which could have occurred prior to the student arriving at Blackthorn Castle. It would have been very unlikely as all the students have copper bead GyneFix IUDs implanted, but possible. There was a student who should have had a hymenectomy and she had a painful time with large diameter partners even when well lubricated. She insisted on continuing with the syllabus and it was a teaching moment for the entire class. 

Seren:  Returning readers will recall that my most recent ward is Seren a college mate of Bea at Cambridge who will be working as an intern Hostess with Bea at the Costume Club during summer holiday. She is Tim (my current lover’s) 18 y/o second cousin and while taking ballet and meeting the requirements of the ballet intensive was a last minute addition when another student dropped out. There was some concern that she wouldn’t be able to keep up as she hadn’t had nearly as long to prepare as the other students. I’m pleased to say that she has marvelous stamina, poise and lovely technique so she finished in the top third of the class for the ballet part of the course. Semina is effective and popular with teens: In my introductory sex-ed course, Contemporary Sexual Health, I use Semina diaphragms because they are effective as well as pretty (which makes very young women feel adult, attractive and confident) so a Semina is more likely to be used during surface-sex. The Semina with spermicide in the dome is a good non-hormonal option when young women reach menarche and begin to need protection for sexual intercourse as it will allow sex with unprotected men giving young women experience in coping with coital discharge.

Semina is manufactured and available primarily in Brazil. It is very difficult to get in the U.S. and it is only selectively available from private clinics in the UK. However, it can be worth the trouble for a student who needs encouragement, something that she thinks is pretty as well as adult and effective which can give her a boost in self confidence.

The diaphragm as an anterior fornix thrust-buffer: I’ve written about this before, but it bears repeating because for some of us it can be important. For a woman with a well endowed partner who can thrust painfully into her anterior fornix a traditional diaphragm can provide some thrust-buffering. I usually wear a latex Reflexions flat spring rim which is no longer commercially available or a custom fitted latex FS device made for me by my London Gyn clinic. In addition to thrust-buffering with my latex FS diaphragm I get a twofer! That’s because when I’m fully aroused so my cervix has been pulled up and back out of the way of an average length penis when Tiny Tim one of my magnificently endowed lovers enters me in missionary he can push the stretched latex membrane of the dome up into my anterior fornix. When a latex FS device is not available silicone diaphragms such as the Milex (Omniflex or Arcing rim) or Semina (coil spring), but not a Caya contoured diaphragm - because the Caya has a smaller diameter and deeper dome - work well for thrust-buffering. Of the silicone options I think a Milex arcing spring rim works best since with an Omniflex or Semina the coil spring rims are more flexible so tend to put less pressure on the tip of the cervix.

Even though the Reflexions flat spring diaphragm is no longer commercially available a Gyn clinic specializing in cervical barriers (like the Blackthorn Clinic in London) can have a latex FS device custom made. And because a latex FS rim device has better heat transfer properties and the flat spring rim is almost impossible to even intentionally under-thrust by a mischievous partner it is the preferred cervical barrier used by  latex fetish escorts and as a flood insurance device it can be used for dive-sex at any depth. The down side of a latex device is that it won’t last as long as a silicone one and can’t be used by couples with a latex allergy.

The pointe-shoe as a defensive weapon: Occasionally a dancer in pointe-shoes can find herself at a disadvantage with a male partner who won’t take no for an answer. It’s difficult to out run a man while you’re wearing pointes, but the hard blocks make ideal blunt force trauma weapons if you are willing to use them. A kick to the temple to fracture the skull and knock him out; A kick to the kneecap to crush the bones and make the knee fold to the side or back; or a flexed foot kick to the pelvis coming up under his penis to crush it against his pubic bone all can be effective, though a kick to the pelvis may not be effective if he is wearing a groin protector/sports cup. However, I think it’s unlikely to find an amorous man wearing a groin protector in a dance setting, but dance belts are standard on performing males. I’ve found that crushing an attacker’s knee so he can’t chase me works best unless he has bent over so his skull is accessible with a sharp high kick with a pointed foot. Monday 30 May 2016 (Spring Bank Holiday): The Spring Bank Holiday is already underway and those who can took Friday off and made it a four day weekend. While Easter Term ends at Cambridge on 10 June and exams are rapidly approaching Bea came stay with me here at the castle for the long weekend and she brought a lover with her. Fortunately as with my former position in Vegas I have access to the medical records of the Escort service run by Tanaquil for Taryn’s European operation so I know who wears 80mm latex diaphragms (mainly for male clients with latex fetishes) or for under-thrust ‘flood insurance’ during dive-sex. A more recent and serious ‘Death Rubber’ limitation briefly mentioned above is that the Reflexions FS diaphragm was discontinued at the first of 2015. Fortunately the Clinic had received a routine stocking order of the Reflexions so we should be able to provide them to patients for the next few months as they are how only used by up-market fetish escort clients. Also, we are able to have latex FS diaphragms custom made, but at higher cost. The fall-back position is to use 80mm silicone Milex diaphragms as death rubber devices, but the flat spring rim was ideal in providing women and especially fetish escorts with superior under-thrust protection and I suspect those of us in the profession will go to the custom made latex flat spring as for us there really is nothing as good.

Currently my collection consists of six 80mm latex Reflexions diaphragms that I have personally harvested from the vaginas of their previous owners. I try to take good care of them as they all contain their former owners sexual exploits that reside in the portion of her Chi still contained in the diaphragm which supplement my own sexual knowledge and experiences when I wear them and each is unique and irreplaceable in that way.

My latest harvesting acquisition: This is the second ‘death rubber’ I’ve harvested since I moved to the UK in January of 2015. After he came he pulled out, but by that time she was limp and not breathing and I and several other divers had jumped in to help pull her out. I unfastened the ankle leash, a man lifted her tank off the bottom and her partner raised her to the surface. After we got her on the pool surround we tried CPR, but she had apparently drowned in her own vomit.  While straightening her thong and covering her with a blanket to await an ambulance I pulled out the 80mm Reflexions she was wearing still slippery with her lover’s thick creamy semen that hadn’t had a chance to liquefy and slipped it down my cleavage.

The perils of Gas Fisting: Gas Fisting for the purpose of this post is defined as having compressed air intentionally forced into the vagina of a willing (or unwilling) woman. As far as I know being Gas Fisted is very rare and extremely dangerous which probably explains its rarity. I’m writing about it now because one of my students asked me about it today in my class on Advanced Sexual Techniques. Her boyfriend wanted to do it to her telling her that it was a quick way to flush coital discharge from her vagina. She asked if a diaphragm being used for contraception or as ‘flood protection’, to prevent the hydraulics of a partners thrusting from forcing water into her uterus, would provide effective protection if he forced pressurized gas into her. The short answer is no, it will not!

No currently available cervical barrier or FC2 condom will provide any protection if a woman is Gas Fisted. The few incidents I’m familiar with have all occurred where the woman is in a bikini or beavertail jacket and SCUBA gear where there was easy access to her vulva and a source of compressed gas from a buddy reg on an octopus or her partner’s reg was available and have all occurred w/o the victim’s permission.

Present Barrier protection is ineffective: Readers of my posts will recall that I routinely use the latex Reflexions flat spring contraceptive diaphragm as effective ‘flood insurance’ while diving to prevent water or gas bubbles from being forced into my uterus by the hydraulics of a partner’s thrusting. Neither the Reflexions nor any other cervical barrier currently commercially available will protect a woman against serious injury if high pressure gas is released into her vagina.

That’s because a jet of compressed gas from a 2^nd stage reg will stretch the vaginal rugae inflating the vagina like a balloon causing the bladder to immediately empty and occasionally the bowels as well. Worse however is that the nearly instantaneously inflated vagina will break even the strongest seal of any diaphragm or FemCap being worn for protection because diaphragm rims and FemCap brims form their seals by pressing tightly against the vaginal walls. The seal of a cervical barrier being breached allows the gas and any water it is pushing to be forced into the wearer’s uterus and fallopian tubes where it could cause PID and infertility or a gas bubble could possibly enter the bloodstream if she was menstrual or recently had an abortion or given birth.

Effective protection: The only cervical barriers that will provide effective protection from the serious side effects of Gas Fisting are the latex Prentif cavity rim cap and the much smaller transparent silicone Oves cap because they suction directly on the walls of the cervix so external pressure will force them down tighter on the cervix.  Unfortunately, neither Prentif nor Oves are still being made. However, there are a few of us still using a Prentif or Oves who can survive a mischievous partner Gas Fisting us.

Too, for a very few of us wanting to tempt fate we can screw a Prentif or Oves down tight on our cervix and have a lover intentionally Gas Fist us or do it ourselves to prove to we still have the nerve or luck to survive.  There is no accounting for the extent to which some of us will go for thrills. Experiencing the massive high that sort of ‘cheating death’ recklessness brings when I successfully survive an intentional Gas Fisting leaves me boneless and gasping savoring how marvelously alive I feel!  

Latex Prentif cavity rim cervical caps like the ones shown above are the only devices other than Oves that will provide effective protection for a woman who is Gas Fisted.

However, even if my vulva is cosseted by a cotton gusset a condom will make spontaneous sex much less messy and for fantasists condoms can add another level to sex play especially if the man has an impregnation fantasy.

As I’ve mentioned in previous posts a surprising number of my lovers like to fantasize about impregnating me. Fortunately she was wearing an OTS Guardian FFM and didn’t vomit so other than biting her tongue she could breathe though she lost consciousness.

They were breathing Enriched Air Nitrox with 32% oxygen (EAN32) and had been down long enough to require at least one deco stop. Doc will be fine. It’s unclear what caused Heather’s seizure and she was helo-lifted to private dive-medicine facility in Milford Haven for extensive testing. This was the first use of the MBHC with an actual patient. Carla, my Divemaster, and her dive medicine boyfriend worked like the professional team they are getting Heather stabilized and to the helicopter when it arrived. The massive freight elevator runs all the way from the mechanical room for the pumps and filtering system below the pools past the pool level where the MBHC is located to the surface in the lower bailey where there is room to unload heavy equipment and land a helicopter. 

In addition to the seizure at the very least she had a case of the Bends and no one knows yet what caused her seizure so it’s unclear what if any long term effects she may have other than probably never diving again. Doc was told to rest for several days so Bea and her boyfriend have filled in for Heather and Doc on the pelvic training schedule. Bea and especially her Cambridge stud-muffin didn’t seem to mind boarding the sexual merry-go-round with the Flowers and Elves so this could be a test of their affection for one another.

I had Bea and Stud-muffin stop by our London clinic before boarding The Dragon for the trip to Caersws and Blackthorn Castle to update their full STI panels and to test for the Zika virus. Bea also had an ultrasound to make sure her GyneFix was still in place. Zika seems unlikely but at Cambridge where there are a lot of men traveling back and forth from countries where Zika is running rampant one can never be too careful and the sale of condoms at Universities in the UK has spiked as women try to protect themselves from Zika since even though they may not be pregnant there is the chance of Guillen Barre and paralysis and no athlete/dancer wants to risk that.

Fortunately Bea brought her pointe-shoes and practice clothes with her and her dive gear is here so she is already kitted out and Stud-muffin can wear Marvin’s kit so he too is good to go.  Bea is somewhat used to a frequent change of sexual partners but Stud-muffin is in for sex with many more beautiful partners than he could have ever anticipated. It will be interesting to see how that affects his sexual stamina and his relationship with Bea.

 

The Caya diaphragm, Tim and I, fetish diaphragm sex

The Caya market: The Caya contoured diaphragm with a polymer arcing spring rim was designed for use in locations where medical professionals are not available to fit diaphragms. Caya is a one-size-fits-most device designed to fit women using the four most commonly prescribed sizes 65, 70, 75 and 80mm, of conventional diaphragms. Caya has been available in The UK and Europe for about two years and in mid 2015 was approved by the FDA for use in the U.S, but it is available by Rx only.

I’ve discussed the Caya and its uses in previous posts and occasionally use it myself when I’m luteal, but I don’t think it is as effective for me if used for contraception during fetish sex as it can be more easily under-thrust than can a flat spring rim latex diaphragm which my clinic now fits as standard for Escorts unless the patient is allergic to latex. 

Caya the pros:

• Polymer rim spring compresses into a long oval with the posterior rim arcing down slightly to ease slipping under and behind the cervix. The rims flexing properties are very similar to a conventional coil spring rim.
• Designed to fit women who wear conventional diaphragms from 65mm to 80mm.
• The soft 75 mm polymer rim spring flexes to accommodate depth of 65mm conventional diaphragm wearer.
• Matte texture of the cup increases sensation for the male partner.
• Grip dimples provide finger placement guidance and firm grip for insertion.
• Removal dome makes removal easy. And, depending on the length of the fingers it can also allow the wearer’s or her partner’s finger to easily move the removal dome gently back and forth over the wearer’s G-spot (if she has one) to stimulate her to orgasm making it much easier to give many women who can wear a Caya a G-spot orgasm, though the ease will depend on exactly where her G-spot is located.
• Relief arch makes it less likely for a partner to hit the anterior rim.

And cons:

• The small 55 mm, inner diameter cervical cup makes wearing it for heavy days flow control during menses less useful than an Omniflex that has a larger dome.
• To accommodate the upturned relief arch of the anterior rim in front of the removal dome, the wearer needs to have a pronounced post-pubic vault (or retropubic niche as  the makers call it) one to two cm deep which most women have; otherwise a partner can hit the rim.
• Rim contour (ahead of the grip dimples) increases the likelihood of under-thrusting if the Caya rotates too much.
• Worn by a woman whose correct size in a conventional diaphragm is smaller than 65mm the contoured rim will bend more ahead of the grip dimples making it much easier to under-thrust the Caya if the wearer is taken while unaroused. Or, cause it not to seal correctly and leak and the rim pressing on her urethra can increase the likelihood of developing a UTI.
• All cervical barriers rotate, but for those with a circular cross-section (all except Caya) rotation doesn’t matter as far as the seal is concerned. When Caya rotates the contoured rim is more likely to break the seal. Rotation is thought to occur from a thrusting penis rubbing more against one side of the dome than the other. So if both the penis and dome are not well lubricated friction can cause the device to rotate significantly.

Tim and a change in plan: It’s Monday January 4^th 2016 and I’m CD24 as this is being written. I’m luteal and don’t really need to wear a barrier for contraception, but I found that Tim likes to help me insert either a Caya or a Reflexions if we are to go diving (I check after him to make certain my cervix is in the cup) and he loves the additional stimulation from rubbing his glans on Caya’s lightly textured dome which saves me from having to intentionally contract my muscles and lets me just enjoy having him thrusting inside me.

The plan changes are significant. After 12^th Night (on January 5^th) my wards their boyfriends and Anya, who arrived on Sunday as the last of my house party guests were departing will fly down to Virgin Gorda aboard Limnaea II, my. Marvin is not going. He is returning to Cambridge to “work” and ‘Miss Nexplanon’ his current dick-a-chick is going with him! I’m not surprised, but she isn’t a dancer and can’t wear pointe shoes (I’ve already covered that base and she doesn’t have the feet or strength for wearing them) so she won’t be replacing me as Jenna when I’m wearing her Bloch Alpha pointes.  Marvin is just looking for a young, tight, deep, easily controlled vessel in which to plant his seed while he is away from me so I know he will be back.

And, I’m not going to Virgin Gorda immediately after 12^th Night either. I found that Tim doesn’t have to report back to his unit for another two weeks, on the 18^th, and I’ve asked him to stay here with me which he is delighted to do! Yay! I should be fertile on the 16^th so I’ll need to be careful the last several days we will be together, but until then I can safely have his sperm in my tubes and not worry about an unintended pregnancy.

By then Bea and her boyfriend will be back at Cambridge so after I see Tim off Nikolai and I will fly down to Lost Cove to be with Anya and the Dryads (Bryony and Claire) and their boyfriends. Nikolai will have time off from the ballet then so he will be my partner on Virgin Gorda. It will be his first time in the BVIs and we are both looking forward to having dive-sex in the cove.

Tiny Tim and me: For the next two weeks Tim and I will be alone together except of course for the castle staff.  He has had SCUBA combat training so is well qualified as a diver. Though I’m pretty sure he hasn’t been in an operation where he has had penile-vaginal intercourse with a woman underwater before. So, I intend to give him a lot of practice to eliminate that gap in his training. We slipped away from the rest of my guests on Saturday to have Carla, my Divemaster, fit him with an OTS Guardian FFM and we tried it out wearing BCs and 130 cu ft HP steel tanks in the shallow (64 ft deep) well where just to get acclimated to the energy and the amount of air expended (you tend to forget about air conservation techniques during orgasm) during dive-sex we could breathe regular air rather than Enriched Air Nitrox with 32% oxygen (EAN32). I tethered my ankle leash to the net strung across the well at 30 feet to prevent a diver in an uncontrolled descent from sinking to the bottom.

I inflated my BC and hung weightless tethered by the leash while Tim untied the hip bows of my thong and fingered me. For the dive I wore a latex Reflexions flat spring diaphragm making sure to express the air from the dome with my fingers to strengthen the vacuum in the dome and applied 10ml of the silicone lube DiveGel+ from a disposable vaginal applicator before getting in the water. I wore the latex Reflections for two reasons primarily because a flat spring rim is nearly impossible to under-thrust so it performs extremely well as ‘flood insurance’ to prevent the hydraulics of a lover’s thrusting from forcing water into the wearer’s uterus and because the silicone gel lube needed for underwater sex will not harm a latex barrier.

He was such an able and fast learner! On our first dive he got off twice by thrusting while we were in more or less vertical missionary. Then I gave him Pompoir while he stayed still and hard as deep as he could get while I milked him with my muscles. It was such a wonderful encounter that I hated to have to surface. The good news is that he will be with me for the next two weeks!

Blackthorn Barony and Boxing Day: The Oxford English Dictionary gives the earliest attestations of the term as being from England in the 1830s, defining it as 'the first week-day after Christmas-day, observed as a holiday on which post-men, errand-boys, and servants of various kinds expect to receive a Christmas-box'. However there are indications that gift giving to tradesmen and servants on the day after Christmas began long before that name was attached to the custom.

Presently in UK Boxing Day is the day after Christmas. However, because Christmas is on Friday this year Boxing Day is celebrated on the following Monday, December 28^th. These days in the UK, Boxing Day is a bank holiday when the after Christmas sales begin. Traditionally ‘Christmas boxes’ contained money or presents and the Barony’s ‘boxes’ for employees who have performed satisfactorily throughout the year contain a sum of money equal to at least 10% of the servants annual wage. The Barony’s boxes are distributed to employees by the Baroness on the afternoon before Boxing Day and to tradesmen and others on Boxing Day itself.

 For her female employees my predecessor Edith, as 22^nd Baroness Blackthorn, began a tradition in the late 90s of allowing most of the Barony’s women servants to travel to London aboard The Dragon the night before to attend the sales on Boxing Day. The minimum staff that stayed behind on Boxing Day to provide hospitality services to the castle are taken to London for the sales aboard The Dragon the following Monday. Anyone who has been in domestic service in a major household knows how tightly they are run so having time off with meals, transportation and lodging (sleeping aboard the Dragon in very comfy reclining seats) on their employer’s dime is very rare. Although the excursion is not entirely w/o oversight since very junior staff are in the care of senior staff members on the trip to ensure no harm comes to them. Male staff gets an equal amount of time off to hunt or fish on Barony land. So that has proved an extremely popular tradition.

Multi-bed hyperbaric chamber: The four bed industrial multiplace hyperbaric chamber (MHC) was the last piece of major equipment installed in my dive facility. It was installed in a space reserved for it after I decided that I could rent out the facility as a diver school when I wasn’t using it and needed an MHC to ensure I had the equipment needed to get the necessary approvals and licence. It’s an upgrade from the one that is about six years old that Adolph, my friend in Vegas, has installed for his dive facility that was used also by women in residence at his Spa, The Lorelei, near by.  

Diving the Well: I try not to vary my exercise routine very much regardless of what is going on around me because at my age I can’t afford not to keep my body in top dancing condition. That’s especially true over the holidays when fattening foods and sweets are so plentiful so that it is harder to keep the pounds off. So after my daily ballet barre and pointe classes I’ve been diving the shallower, 64 ft., well for dive-sex with one of the ballet-boys who are here to provide erotic companionship over the holidays. Carla fitted him with one of the Guardian FFMs reserved for guests. I chose him because he is very well endowed, is an avid SCUBA diver and has a reputation as a considerate partner and an awesome underwater fuck.

Even so I have deco lines and spare air hung in both wells for periodic decompression stops the last being at 15 feet if needed. After sex I love having an afterglow nap while still tethered to the bottom. I have my computer set to alarm when I’ve reached table limits and I need to deco during ascent. Dive-sex uses a lot of air as air consumption techniques are pretty much ignored as you are racing toward and at orgasm so we use 130 cu ft HP steel tanks. That way we can usually have at least three encounters and a nap before we ascend.   

Since it’s after Christmas I’m luteal, I ovulated on Christmas day, so right now I don’t need a cervical barrier for contraception. I just need reproductive tract protection for ‘flood insurance’ to prevent having water forced into my uterus from the hydraulics of a lover’s thrusts if or when my vagina floods which is a common occurrence for women during dive-sex.  Ideal for dive-sex flood insurance is a latex Reflexions flat spring diaphragm because silicone lube so necessary for extended intercourse underwater can be safely used with a latex diaphragm and unlike arcing and coil spring rim diaphragms the flat spring rim is nearly impossible to under-thrust even when the man is intentionally trying.

After inserting my Reflexions I always squat push, down to force my cervix closer to the entrance to my vagina and use my fingers to express the air out of the dome forcing the stretchy rubber deep into my anterior fornix to be held there by the suction which appreciably increases the strength of the suction in the dome and therefore the strength of the seal and the safety of the device.

Female staff off: Three thirteen passenger vans took the ladies of the castle staff down to Caersws to board The Dragon for the overnight trip to London for the sales. They will sleep and eat aboard the train and the Dragon will be parked at an unused platform at St Pancras so they can breakfast and leave for the sales when the stores open. They were so excited! The long white polymer device in the photo is an ‘introducer’ that was once a standard insertion aid and it too is no longer being produced. You can tell how soft and stretchy the dome is by how it lays in soft folds and the heat transfer properties of latex membrane are awesome! A flat spring latex diaphragm has become a must have for ritual sex during celestial celebrations as it allows me to cycle naturally while protecting me from the common consequences of sex with a virile and unprotected man.

 

Diaphragm tricks: To increase the strength of the seal (the suction) in the dome of a correctly sized and properly inserted diaphragm you need to express as much of the air in the dome as possible. The wearer should do that immediately after insertion by inserting the first two fingers of either hand into her vagina and press the dome against the anterior wall of the vagina and into the anterior fornix as far as it will go being sure not to damage the dome with a fingernail in the process. I wear my nails short, but even so while using the pad side of the finger the nail tip will come in contact with the dome especially while pressing it into the anterior fornix so care or a nitrile glove should be used.

 

Labia Labs latex (3L) diaphragms: Returning readers may recall that in March of 2012 I mentioned that Gepetto had teamed up with Labia Labs to produce a line of latex diaphragms with coil spring rims in standard sizes from 55mm to 90mm in 5mm increments. And now he has added a latex flat spring rim to take the place of the Reflexions of fond memory. He decided against producing an All-Flex arcing spring rim device because there were patent licensing costs and an arcing spring rim is needed primarily for women with lax muscle tone which is of no concern to Gepettos target market, escorts with fetish specialties and some of the tightest and strongest vaginal grips in the world.  The devices can be custom made in half sizes (2.5mm) and can be provided by special request. The Labia Labs Latex (known as 3L) line of diaphragms is now being offered exclusively through our women’s clinic here in London and only to hostesses working for Clever Cunts and Taryn’s stable of Escorts both of which are now run by one of Tanaquil’s stable masters. Winter Solstice, Christmas, 12^th Night & Virgin Gorda planning: Trinity College Cambridge Christmas vacation is from: December 14 Monday, Last day of undergraduate and graduate classes, to January 25 Monday, Undergraduate and graduate classes begin. Being off for five weeks will allow Bea, Willow, the Dryads (Bryony and Claire) and Marvin (Morning wood) along with the girls boyfriends to spend the Winter Solstice, Christmas and 12^th Night at Blackthorn Castle and then have several weeks with me along in the BVIs at my place on Lost Cove on Virgin Gorda. My cycle and the moon: I’ll be fertile, CD11, on the Winter Solstice which will be on Tuesday December 22^nd. The moon will be waxing and 89% visible then and will be full on Christmas Eve, Christmas and Boxing Day, December 24^th through 26^th. I should ovulate on Christmas day. Being fertile on the Winter Solstice is awesome as it brings good fortune from the goddess.

 

Training for seminarians: I’ve been engaged to provide lust training for young men studying at a local seminary. The Head Master thinks it’s best to have them knowledgeable about what temptations await them before rather than after they take vows of Chastity Poverty and Obedience. It’s a novel approach, one I don’t think many seminaries have tried with success in the past.
