It’s true that there is a great deal of sex occurring in my and Adolph’s deep pools, but it really is for training of escorts, or European BDSM students (at Adolph’s) or just old fashioned recreational sex w/o a video crew from Taryn’s Adult Media Co. present. Training pool pregnancies: Our clinic is seeing a spike in pregnancies involving women being impregnated during private dive-sex lessons while training in unlicensed dive schools set up in large up-market foreclosed homes in isolated sections of town. These small ‘SCUBA Schools’ advertise teaching intimate dive skills at low prices primarily so the ‘trainer’ can get paid by his students for having dive-sex with them. Usually the women are young, sexually inexperienced and new in town and trying to get training w/o having to pay much for it. Some of them end up having to pay for an abortion. Most thought they were on the pill, but weren’t taking it correctly or were taking another med that interfered with their birth control hormones effectiveness and none were wearing gas guards for upper reproductive tract protection. So far none of the women have wanted to call attention to themselves by reporting the scuba schools for fear their pregnancy and abortion will become public knowledge and become known by their parents or ruin any chance they might have of getting a job as an entertainer or into an escort training program. These women usually end up having a GyneFix IUD implanted if they can become part of the GyneFix clinical trial.

The FC2 and teens: At St Lucy’s we believe “Sex is pleasurable and pleasure is good for you”. The pace of the Summer Intensive is horrendous so the students need a proven stress releaser. That’s why we recommend recreational sex rather than controlled pharmaceuticals to allow the students, especially the women who are (because of our hormonal fluctuations) more emotional than the men, to relax quickly enough to get a good nights sleep. We also recognize that providing young women with sex during our Summer Intensive in a well protected environment with STI screened partners doesn’t fully prepare them for the real world. So we have ‘Reality Days’ where the girls wear the new nitrile FC2 condom under tights for class. A lot of the girls start out thinking wearing an FC under tights is a bit sluty, but they soon come around when they see that they can get away with it undetected. For most girls, even the smaller ones, if properly positioned the lined crotch gusset of the tights usually hides the outline of the FC labia ring – unless the girl is wearing custom tights or has them pulled up with the waistband rolled over a belt to emphasize her mons veneris and vulva, or unless she is wearing transparent seamless tights such as Wolford Fatals. In the case of transparent or skin tight tights or if the girl is unsure of the attractiveness of her pelvic line the labia ring is compressed and inserted in the vagina as though inserting a diaphragm and becomes totally invisible. Then if the need arises with a finger she can hook the ring and pull it out and be ready to rock and roll. We provide private time on Reality Days for a student and her partner to use her FC. The man is familiar with how to use it and the precautions needed so he doesn’t slip out so it is an intimate learning experience for each student.

While it’s the same principle as going to work wearing a diaphragm, which most smart diaphragm wearers do there are two opposing views about a dancer wearing an FC before she has a demonstrated need to use it, probably because the labia ring can be seen through tight clothing if it is not positioned correctly. The first is that she is a slut who is thinking about spending time on her back working under a man when she should be concentrating on perfecting her art. The second, and in my opinion the correct one, is that she is a forward thinking woman who likes being prepared to take advantage of an opportunity for recreational sex in the safest possible way. Rather than being a submissive slut she is in fact using her knowledge to protect both herself and her partner while getting the most pleasure possible from a sexual encounter. Realizing that when the moment is right she may not have time to search through her dancebag for her box of condoms and insert one before the window of opportunity closes she is prepared. That seems to me to show initiative and be by far the better course when a girl wants to take advantage of an opportunity for recreational sex and does not know her partner’s sexual history, but longs to have an intimate encounter with her hunky male.

Slit kits and recreational sex: Every one of the SI students is given a slit kit. It’s not as elaborate as the ones given to the escorts who complete their training but it covers most situations. A SI slit kit contains a place for the students own dial or blister pack if she is on the pill a place for her cervical barrier needed as a gas guard during dive-sex and four FC2 condoms, six prefilled applicators of DiveGel, a selection of male condoms, three different size cock-rings and a dose of Plan-B One-step (levonorgestrel) in case of an accident. For any item used the clinic has refills/replacements including refills of all brands of birth control pills the students are taking. We have the students carry the kits in their dancebags or reg bags when they are taking dive-sex lessons so they will have their supplies nearby if needed.

A ‘new man’ and the FC2: For sex with a new man with an unknown sexual history I have switched to using an FC2 for protection in addition to an Oves. A Nitrile FC2 is far less likely to burst or tear than latex or polyurethane condoms and the material has as good heat transfer properties as the best ultra sheer latex. And wearing the condom myself rather than depending on my partner I’m in control of removing it so there is no quizzical look or question if after removal I slip a used one into a pouch on my side of the bed. Readers who have been with me from my days posting on Yahoo 360 will recall that I save the condom from the first sexual encounter I have with a man so I can have his semen analyzed for the quality and quantity of his sperm but more importantly to detect any STIs he may be carrying. I also keep the condom in its own compartment with his name and the date of the encounter. Switching to the FC2 requires a larger compartment (to accommodate the labia ring, the open end), but it’s worth it for the improved safety and the fact that I’m in control of the condom at all times. The only thing a girl has to be careful of when using an FC2 is that on the withdrawal stroke he doesn’t slip out. If he slips out you need to be really careful that he reenters inside the labia ring and not outside the sheath which could lead to all sorts of unpleasant surprises. I make certain that he doesn’t slip out by wrapping my legs around his waist or his upper thighs to lock him to me and limit the length of his stroke keeping most of him inside me once he is inside the sheath. I make up for shortening his stroke by pulsing my vaginal muscles tightening just a bit in time with his thrusts and withdrawals (One partner called it ‘double clutching’ which stuck in my mind) to provide a superior tactile encounter for his glans. It’s a cousin of the ‘ripple grip’ technique, but ‘double clutching’ a guy while wearing an FC2 is a much more gentle experience for him.

Rude noises and a sense of humor: The female condom is a lot more likely to produce vaginal farts - called a Queef or quife and pussy fart - from air being expelled around the sheath during thrusting than while using a male condom. A couple can be so distracted by the sound the interruption can take some of the urgency from an approaching orgasm to the extent that they have to refocus. So it really pays to have a good sense of humor.

Ballet Summer Intensive - update: Today is the start of the second week (6/13-6/19) of the SI and so far our improved screening procedures seem to be working. The first week saw some pelvic bruising and even as physically active as the students were at home and with the week of ramp-up prep all of them needed deep body massages, lots of ibuprofen and smelled of liniment. One of the first fun things we did during prep week was take the girls to Body Buffers and they all got a full body wax, everything but eyebrows and scalp hair was removed. For most it was their first full body wax and one or two who had to be coaxed into getting waxed (peer pressure really) were nearly in shock afterward. But 600 mg of ibuprofen and liberal application of a soothing aloe vera gel during a full body massage brought relief and now they all are strutting around admiring their smooth legs and pubes in the dorm mirrors.
