The Blackthorn Barony paid for the shoot so I have control of the photos and can use them in a puff piece for The Costume Club aka Clever Cunts I’m composing for a fetish magazine if the Condé Nast piece doesn’t materialize.  

Thanksgiving 2015: My Thanksgiving Day went extremely well. Everyone showed up and the meal was spectacular with crackers distributed after dessert when every one got a favor in their cracker. Neither have steady boyfriends so I invited two more gorgeous hunks as their partners for the weekend. All but Alexei and Veronika staying with Marvin and me in Eaton Square for the weekend.

Shopping: The women all take ballet class with me in the mornings in my basement studio while the men work out in my small gym. Then we go shopping for sales specials as the Christmas buying season has begun and lunch at Fortnum and Mason or Harrods. The weather today, Saturday, has been chilly and sunny this morning with temps in the low 50s and a brisk breeze.  Of course the forecast is for rain this afternoon… Sigh! Tomorrow’s forecast isn’t much better; a bit warmer with rain again in the afternoon. Weather for the funeral: The temperature is supposed to be in the mid 40s (F) and heavy rain starting around noon. Fortunately His Grace and Jack and their companions, Maya and Ashley, flew in by helicopter today. The Funeral will be in the castle chapel, burial will be private and the meal for the attendees will be in the Great Hall of the castle so once here the whole thing will be inside where it’s warm and dry.

It’s hard to believe I’m relocating and going to a place that still has miserable weather. Well, of course it is winter. Still I can’t imagine two more different climates than Las Vegas which is hot and dry and Caersws which is wet and cold.

Stress release among the mourners: Charles, my COH, has done all of the heavy lifting getting everything ready for the funeral of the 22^nd Baroness tomorrow pretty much in accordance with her wishes for the ceremony. The Bishop who will be presiding and his wife are here so no one else that we know of will be traveling any distance. There will just be the villagers who work at the castle and the farming and timber aspects of the estates and the miners of course and perhaps a few from Caersws and Llanidloes.

The funeral will be my debut social performance among the people who work for the Barony and who I hope will be my friends so I really want to get this right. I want to appear stately but approachable which I think I can do and looking regal in black and en pointe should be doable when skirted and veiled if I’m not mistaken for a vampire. We all will go to bed early tonight since the last few days have been so hectic. I’m going to see if Marvin and I can fuck each other’s brains out. [Jill] Because St Lucy’s founder believed that young women should be willing and able to enjoy the full range of pleasurable experiences while being as safe as possible entrance requirements are geared not only toward meeting the standards of a rigorous academic curriculum, but also include a tendency toward being sexually assertive and adventuresome. While guiding and shaping each bright young adventuresome mind certain precautions are taken. Each St. Lucy’s student is required to have completed the series of Gardasil injections before arriving on campus. And, as I mentioned in an earlier post we strongly recommend that every new student be fitted with an copper IUD, preferably a GyneFix, so they can continue to experience the cyclical hormonal swings that are the source of so much female creativity.

We require that the strings be removed at placement of the IUD to prevent interfering with the seal of a cervical barrier or sticking to the barrier and being accidentally pulled out when the barrier (used for flood insurance during dive-sex) is removed. Actually, dive-sex is a huge motivator as no student wants to be so difficult that she is denied participating in that semester long class. US FDA OKs GlaxoSmithKline’s Cervarix: “LONDON -(Dow Jones)- GlaxoSmithKline said Friday that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved CERVARIX [Human papillomavirus bivalent (types 16 and 18) vaccine, recombinant] for the prevention of cervical pre-cancers and cervical cancer associated with oncogenic human papillomavirus (HPV) types 16 and 18 for use in girls and young women (aged 10-25). MAIN FACTS: -CERVARIX was shown to be 93 percent efficacious in the prevention of cervical pre-cancers (cervical intraepithelial neoplasia 2+/ CIN 2+ or adenocarcinoma in situ) associated with HPV 16 or 18, in women without evidence of current infection with, or prior exposure to, the same HPV type at the time of vaccination. -The majority (approximately 75 percent) of cervical cancers in North America are caused by HPV types 16 and 18. -CERVARIX does not protect against disease caused by all HPV types. -Approximately 100 types of HPV have been identified to date and, of these, approximately 15 virus types are known to cause cervical cancer. -The FDA's approval of CERVARIX was based on data from clinical trials in more than 30 countries involving a diverse population of nearly 30,000 girls and young women receiving CERVARIX. -CERVARIX is expected to be commercially available in the U.S. in late 2009.”

Personal comment: When Cervarix becomes generally available in the U.S. the competition should drive down the price of Gardasil.
