Hi Eric and Paul D, Yes guys, the shoes are Freeds! Eric the D is really the width of the shoe, but it possibly being a maker’s mark was a good idea. The actual maker’s mark is further back toward the heel.
The Freed model is called Innovation, though as Paul said it's commonly known as the Maple Leaf because there is a maple leaf stamped on the heel.
I'm guessing they're Freeds. Not sure of the style.
ReplyDeleteHi Eric! What is it about these shoes that makes you think that they are by the maker you suggest?
ReplyDeleteThe "Made in England" mark and the letter D, which what I think is a maker's mark rather than a width.
DeleteFreed model 7068
ReplyDeleteMade for Canada national ballet school it's nickname is the Maple Leaf
How do I do ?
Paul D
