Asphyxia training. Fear, just before her air is shut off.
Dive-sex and autoerotic asphyxiation: David Carradine’s death, apparently from autoerotic asphyxiation, triggered this post. I don’t usually teach erotic asphyxiation though I do practice it myself occasionally during solo dives. I have taught the few women in my inner circle; Taryn, Anya and Cyndi, though everyone thought Cyndi was too young to be disciplined enough to perform it safely. I intentionally haven’t taught Diané that aspect of dive-sex because she is going through an emotional time right now and could easily use it to commit suicide. God knows, it’s easy enough to slip up when you are orgasmic and euphoric and accidentally kill yourself, which I think sort of ruins the effect, but I may be wrong, no one has ever come back to tell what it’s like leaving that way. Asphyxia training starts after the diver becomes proficient in the other skills necessary for enjoying dive-sex safely. I have a student start while wearing a wetsuit because we are going to be in the water a long time practicing the moves over and over from different perspectives so s/he may as well be comfortable. After the basics of training the girls usually dive in a Tankini which provides upper body protection, especially breasts, from her dive equipment and a thong bottom for easy access to the vulva. I also recommend the girls wear a doo rag or silicone swim cap if they have long hair to keep it from getting tangled in their equipment. A hair snarl and pull during sex is a real mood breaker and something to be avoided.
The student has already learned how to turn on and off the air from his or her own tank while on the surface but the first time someone else turns off your air is something entirely different. In my case every time a lover turns off my air I self-lubricate almost instantly as the thrill of danger sweeps over me and I suck on my reg and get no gas to fill my lungs! Occasionally if my suit is tight enough I can get a very quick clitoral orgasm. That’s especially true if I’m fertile and very estrogenic. As a safety feature we have a cricket clicker taped to one of our hands. That’s a standard commonly used so if either of us gets in trouble we can click it and our partner can turn on our air. We go through this seven or eight times per dive over 2 days of diving with 2 dives a day so the student is very familiar with turning on his or her as well as the instructor’s air regardless of orientation in the water.
The next step is to have the student dive in a swimsuit and masturbate and when approaching orgasm to have his or her air shut off. The women can stimulate their clitoris or use a dildo and Dive-Gel. If the guy is uncut (hasn’t been circumcised) I offer Dive-Gel to use on his tip and foreskin. Once the student experiences asphyxia during masturbation to orgasm we move on to asphyxia at orgasm during intercourse. That’s where if the student panics things can go badly wrong, though I have never lost a student. During dive-sex the protocol is for the man to take the woman to climax first turning her air off and manipulating her G-spot to provide her with an asphyxia orgasm. She then turns her air on after lasting as long as she can without to enjoy the afterglow and turns off his air letting him get off inside her during an extremely intense orgasm. That’s theoretically how it’s supposed to go. However, in the real world, what often happens is that her vaginal contractions are so strong that he will lose control and she has to shut off his air while she is climaxing and they both are orgasmic together. That can be the most exquisite but also the most dangerous because they are both euphoric and neither is in full control of their own situation much less that of their dive buddy. Like I said I’ve never had a serious injury during asphyxia dive-sex but we have come very close several times which to me is itself addictive for the massive adrenaline high!

I thought David Carradine hung himself. I wonder if that were the case if it's part of the autoerotic aphyxiation. I guess there are a lot of things us civilians don't know about celebrities.
ReplyDeleteYes, but was it intentional? The thing with something like that is that the person is so close to the edge there is considerable risk of something going very wrong, even for someone who has been up to the edge and back successfully many times before. That’s part of the attraction.
ReplyDeleteJill,
ReplyDeleteIt's been too long! This has to be one of the most thrilling posts of recent memory. It brings to mind our chat about underwater self defense last summer...
Keep blowing bubbles...
Jay
Hi Jay, Thanks for the kind remarks! I'm glad you stopped by. Don't be a stranger, ok?
